She glanced over to Gorn and then to where Ligeia disappeared, dancing a slight jig as they waited.

Ligeia is on the roof for a minute or two, exploring.

Satisfied, Ligeia lowers herself down and then drops into the waiting arms of Gorn. Then she descends to begin the exploration of the subterranean passageway.

20:03, Today: Ligeia Strand rolled 12 using 2d6+7.  Agility check.

On her own the passageway and chamber below the trap door is too dark to see anything. Ligeia needs a light source.

I'm happy to go down there with you Ligeia, but I can't light up my spell every ten minutes.  Doesn't anyone have a lantern?

"Jen's feet will light the way," Ligeia reminds her from the darkness.

Rubus is ready to follow the others.

The group descends into the chamber below.  All seems quiet except the occasional drip of water from condensation on the ceiling.
From Jenouise’s feet, all can see there is a 5’ wide passage heading North at least 20’ into darkness

 ( Unless otherwise specified anything happening will be determined by dice roll, unless the group plans a marching order.  Afamrail’s spell has about 2 more minutes of light.)

Rubus will be at the rear unless somebody has a better idea.

 The group descends down to explore the chamber and tunnel below.

I'm nominating Ligeia as the caller and if someone is doing something else let us know in character.

Jenoiuse was a little hesitant at being so close to the front of the group, but she followed along regardless since she was pretty much the light source. She skipped along after Ligeia.

A lantern + oil + something would turn a lantern into a beacon. Perhaps that something already exists within the lantern itself. That would make sense.

Should this be the case, Ligeia will lead the way by lantern light.

It is not the case, there is neither lantern present here, nor oil.

The party moves North.  After another 20' or so you find yourselves at a heavy wooden door.

Besides the bottle of oil for sharpening blades, I don't know what else might help us light a torch.

With Gorn's help, Ligeia lights a torch and then sees about opening the door blocking their progress.

seems like it's been stuck a long time.  You will have to force it 2d6+STR please.

Politely, Ligeia demurs when presented with an opportunity to have a contest of strength with a door.  She steps back to make space for Gorn or Alaric.
