Re: Portrait Submission
Hey Warrax or Morgan,
I know you guys are still waiting for things outside of your control, but do you have any idea if - whenever an update goes through - it'll include EVERYTHING from the stuff that didn't make it into the last update (September of last year) to everything that's been submitted between then and <whatever date an update finally happens>?
I had submitted a portrait several months ago, and the game that it was for has already come and gone, rendering the submission moot (although hopefully someone else will find it useful down the road), and I find myself in the situation now of really -needing- to submit a portrait for a new game (because, as we all know, the ethnic options in the gallery don't cover all that much so it's hard to find something 'good enough'), but waffling over whether or not it's worth bothering/adding yet another portrait to the queue.
It's a decision that would be much easier to make if I knew that it would DEFINITELY get uploaded with the next update (because I'll play the odds that the next update happens sometime in the next 6-12 months, which is the general minimum lifespan I expect of a game), but if the portraits waiting to be uploaded are going to be parsed out into more than one update, and many, many, many months are passing between updates, the odds of the portrait making it in while I still need it become significantly lowered. =(
Any ideas? I know there were still leftovers sitting in the metaphorical pile back in September, and now there's presumably 8 months' worth of submissions put in between then and now (although I'm not sure how often people are sending in, at the moment) in addition to that, so I imagine there's quite a few waiting to go.
