I've taken over a few characters as NPCs in games where I loose a player, and in at least one instance when the character became undead and not under the player's control.  Now, when going to post as the GM, I have to select a character to post as, and it does not default to posting as the GM.

I've looked and the GM character is my "default" character, insofar as I can tell.  Is there a way to make RPoL auto-select the GM character when I post, but allow me to select another one if I need to?

on the drop down menu, when the GM posts, it will show  all your   charcters in the game, that have a Character sheet.

 i have mobed  charcters  to NPC slots  when players left,  to sue them  until they die, or 'off board' fighting the good fight.

 if use  use  'other name' when posting as a GM, it will show  up  as that character  if you speel it the same as the accepted   Character name..i run into that when  i make a post  for a player  and don't  give a nick name, then is  icon will pop up.

Check the Game Preferences on the right-hand side and be sure that it's set to default posting to your primary character. It might have accidentally gotten changed somehow.
