New Site vs Old Site Dice Roller Copy Paste Weirdness

Yep.  Long title.

I predominantly use the old site, because it has better usage of real estate on desktop devices.  I use the new site on my phone because it's better at responding to different screen sizes and zooming in, etc..

I've noticed some very weird behaviour happening on the new site vs the old site when copy/pasting dice roller entries:

Dice roller shows this:
Dice Roller:
03:45, Today: Gelric Hammerstrike rolled 16 using 1d20+2.  Con check.

New Site shows this when copy/pasted into a main game thread:
new site:
DC 10 Con check: 16

The 16 is underlined and there's a hovertext on it which shows the exact dice roller entry as above.

The same post on the old site shows this:
old site:
DC 10 Con check: [roll=1673282726.40223.366844]

Which I'm sure is not the intent.  Not a game-breaker, because I can always go to the dice roller log and see what's been rolled, but still strange and annoying.  I suspect it's a weirdness because my player is using the the responsive site, and I'm using the old site, but I thought I'd raise it as a bug, just in case people were not aware of this -- and it might be a quick fix.

The roll ID (roll=#########) feature only works on the responsive site.

I don't think there's a fix as I believe the plan announced at one point was to eventually transition RPoL to the responsive site, rather than having both.  So it was acceptable that some things just won't be compatible.

So the workaround is to only copy the dice roll portion.

So if you have this in the dice roller on the responsive site
Dice:
19:15, Tue 03 Jan: Player A rolled 14 using 1d20+9.  Attack. – [roll=1672787707.97806.360131]

Just copy and paste this bit:
Dice:
19:15, Tue 03 Jan: Player A rolled 14 using 1d20+9.  Attack.

And it should fix the cause of the compatibility issue though it will also disable the roll hover text feature for people viewing the post on the responsive site.

I thought as much.  That said, I've seen a lot of "interim" solutions that were meant to only last a short time end up holding on a lot longer than intended.

I also thought it might be a quick fix.

There's a workaround available, so it's not a major issue.
