That's the result of the bug, yes, but the bug itself is still a failure of the input validation. Closing a quote tag on the same row as the last row of a pipe table shouldn't do that. And indeed, if the quote attribution is not a link, I think it works correctly.

Edit: Oh, well, that's me told. It's just ending a quote tag on the same row as the last row of a table. The link as the attribution has nothing to do with it.

Filler posts are generally frowned upon in the public forums, although it's rare that they're done to test a coding solution (the norm...if you can call it that, since it rarely happens...is someone spamming the thread...)
