PM Thread Cleanup Bug and Work Around

Okay the issue is: In the PM's when there is a large group PM and a player accidentally clicks so that they create a new PM rather than replying all to the full group- the other players in the game with only one character are unable to delete the oops PM.  They get a message:

Insufficient Access: You do not have permission to manipulate messages for this character.

Upon doing research I found out that players with multiple characters are able to delete the messages without error.

I tested the theory by creating an NPC and giving it to one of the players who could not delete the message.  They were able to delete the messages no problem.

I would like to add to the above that I've run into the Insufficient Access error for PMs between just two players too!

As a GM we don't have the option of deleting a PM for another player, only ourselves.  I could delete them on my side no problem, but they remained for the other players.  The second player option solves the problem.  I just moved around an NPC allowing players to clean up their PM inbox and then deleted the NPC.  It worked.

This is actually no longer true, with the new site.

GMs have a 'Purge Thread' option for PMs that will remove the PM entirely, from every recipient. It's a great new addition.
