CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:

Appearance:  Lucius is a man of athletic build and a rather average height of 6’1, or 185.42 CM. He is muscular but lithe, giving him a somewhat deceiving appearance, his weight is 94.08 kilos without his armor. His hair is coppery red and long, reaching his shoulders. He will usually wear it in a ponytail. His eyes are blue and calm, his gaze is patient and serene but occasionally it gives him an air of tiredness, like he is lacking sleep. He shaves regularly, never letting his beard grow for more than a few days. He has a few scars throughout his body, wounds from previous encounters, and a single branding on the right side of his neck, depicting the symbol of his King.

He wears a full plated armor, black in color with golden trims designing beautiful patterns throughout the entire suit. The armor is very form fitting and while it is still protective, it favors his movement and mobility, which in turns complements the fighting style that earned him his position as a Blademaster. His sword is extremely long and rather thin, with a straight blade and a crossguard that curves slightly, though mostly for decoration.

The previously mentioned fighting style is one that he developed by his father. His ‘’Knight Killer’’ style makes full use of long blade, and its armor piercing qualities. The sword can cut, but it was not designed to do so, so its edge is not suitable for cutting especially resistant objects. The thrust however is extremely resistant, made for going through crevices in armor, or even directly through some lower quality protection.

Lucius will generally open the fight with slashes, generally aiming the wrists, face, legs and midsection, but always keeping his foe at a distance, taking advantage of his longer than average blade, all the while observing his opponent. When he is ready to finish the fight he will ready his blade for a thrust, and pierce through one of his opponent’s weak spots. When he fully mastered this method, his father sent him off to the King’s military.


CHARACTER'S BACK HISTORY:

History:  NOTE:  Has a twin sister, Sorcha.

Sorcha was doted on.  With a knack for music her family encouraged this talent.  She grew up with the comforts that wealthy noble parents could provide. She has had the best teachers and resources.  Her father had been a military man and her mother a Grand Duchess.  She was close to her mother and when the Duchess fell ill Sorcha was by her side until the end.

Lucius and Sorcha were born into a long line of Blade masters, so a military career was expected of Lucius, and by no surprise he started to train at a very young age. His father, Thom, trained him personally, as he saw great promise in the boy, and at the boy trained it was certain he would surpass his father.  With this knowledge his father’s heart swelled with pride. The young man was then accepted as a Blade master and celebrated with his newfound brothers with a promise of a bright future in a military career.

Their mother passed away and with that event their father became very depressed.  The twins were only 12.

After a year of their father depression he had an epiphany, triggered when he was out drinking, as he returned home he saw his daughter of only 13 get attacked. It was by luck he arrived at their home when he did unfortunately Thom killed the man.  Even in his inebriated state Thom came to a realization that only he could change his situation, only he could stand up and take hold of his destiny.  He needed to provide for his family by working his fertile lands, find a suitable husband for Sorcha, and get his son into the king’s army.  And with change the next several years saw his daughter grow into a young woman full of promise and his son a fine warrior.

On the twins 20th birthday her father wanted Lucius to come home and take of Lordship of his lands, so he can ease a bit.  Sorcha is still yet to be married but she is fully involved in all the goings of the town and community.  He wanted her settled, she wished and longed to be settled.  Lucius also felt it as time for him to begin a new path and as Lord of Harmony Manor his new direction would take hold.
