Did we ever come up with any options for accomplishing this mission?
As I see it, the lizardmen are here and established. They have no reason to move. Unless we have something of great value to offer, or something of terrible consequence to threaten, why would they move?
The only thing I remember was the possibility of transferring them to one of the Elven ruins marked on an old map we'd found. But again, whey would they want to move to any of them. This place seems to be fine. That's not even taking into consideration that there may very well be something here that they want. And if this place is covered by an anti-magic sphere, then they've got very powerful protections from adventurers.
In fact, a dragon's breath-weapon is a supernatural feature that does not work in an anti-magic zone. Which is one reason why her scaly-ass-ness might be reluctant to try to drive them out herself. No spells, no breath weapon, just teeth and claws. She would still probably win, but she'd take a licking in the process.
So, we can threaten them: We represent a powerful patron that wants them gone. If they refuse ... pain and suffering ... last generation ... blah blah blah
Or we can bribe them: With what I have no clue.
Anyone have any suggestions?
