New Word Plus---

A variation of the new word game, with the addition of a -goal- word.

Players take turns manipulating the word, one letter at a time-- adding, removing, moving, as long as the result is still an actual word, and they work towards a goal word. The player that meets the goal, then makes a new goal word.

Can we add a rule that certain letter combinations like

kn ch sh are considered "one move" due to their usage in language?

I don't think so, but for the sake of the game we should probably just get rid of the second word.

how about a switch-aroo?

I.e. if you have spork you could switch two letters to become sprock (not that it's a word but you get the idea)

As a thought exercise, what would the penultimate word be?  What comes directly before "werepyre"?  I can't think of anything.  I still vote that this game either get modified or go away.
