There was a bit of a  Smile  as   Coach Sims and His  wife  stopped to talk to Linda  who was smiling   and  drinks   a soda.

  yeah?   I mean..i find charcters  in Movies and such that are 'me'..sometimes its  the  hero, some times the bad guy, some times  one of the supporting folks..most who get killed off?..  I don't know what  the Show's game is?... I mean.. they sent   Linda  pout here to get me..or? she volunteered  to   drag me into the  show? You have to ask yourself  ...why? I know  20  actors from movies  and TV  shows  that would make a  good   Argie Johnson?... That director Guy? Hollen De Veer is known for getting  'unkowns' to play a charcter  and they hit   the industry big?....but..how does a  Director  from Belgium , even know  about a  shmuck from new york who plays football?

"He has probably seen you on talk shows... maybe your small and scrappy attitude is what he wants for the character. If he wanted a big, dumb softy he might have asked me instead. Wouldn't have fit the role. Probably wouldn't even have fitted in the cockpit!"

Ben looked amused at the thought.

   I dunno?.. but?..I'll make more  money  doing this, then i have on my  base  salery  a Dragon?.. then  Linda  says i get stuff from  reruns  and   toy sales ? I'm gonna have Money?..i just  don't spend money very freely?..I'm not buying a  million dollar  hous ein The Hills....but?  I gguess  i'kk have to see what happens  the rest of the way?

 he looked at Ben,..they could   stick a pair of  machine arms on you?..or   put a  fur cover and make you a Hyrian? They do have some   famous folks pop in and out  as guest starts.

"You'll be suggesting I play Zobaich the tame Demon next," laughed Ben.

He reached for another pizza strip.

"You're on to something here. They make good nibbles."

  Adam nodded,what's not to like?.. Pizza that you can eat with your  finger, comes in Milkshake  cup so you don;t get messed up?...

 Linda  bounced over  and  grabbed a pizza   stick,... Gosh!..you guys have sooooo much fun!.. do other teams  do this?

 Adam   shrugged,not  really,, a running back having a good year, or a  QB will take his O line out to dinner.. but this is a team think.. no one expects  anyone to shellout money right now?  we're not seeing those bonuses  until February..but?  Yuto  and Mr A? they  plan things out....are they makign Money?..you bet!... but some of that money comes right back to us..

"Hello, Linda," said Ben, rising.

"Not having played for any other team at this level, I don't have a comparison... but there's a distinct family feeling here. In some ways it's more like a club or high school team. We're not a bunch of disparate people brought together to play football, even if that's how we got here. We're a unit, a bunch of friends..."

 Linda smiled,..you don't know what its Like?.. its so nice to   dance  without having the guy  hitting on you...

 Adam looked at her, then to Ben, then back as she  said, as dead pan as he could, Guys hit on me  once a week!...of course, I hit back..does that make me a slut?

 Linda  Looked  at him for a few seconds  then   Graoned as Hse  whacked his  shoulder   with a small fist.

"Families respect boundaries. Anyone here lucky enough to get a dance with you knows that you are going out with Adam. Many of them have girlfriends or wives of their own, and just dance with you because they like you, not because they're after you. What lots of people forget about celebrities is that you are regular human beings under all the hype. It's going to be fun watching the show from now on, having actually met you and all, though."

Ben grinned. He'd never been an autograph collector as a kid, although he'd had his favourites - not just footballers, but actors and musicians too - he had not wanted more than to be able to admire their work.

  Linda held out her  Hand to Ben,if you can dance witht he reporter?..You can dance with me, Let's go big guy...

Adam Grinned    at Ben.


 Santos  came over  the  Adam,hey man, you ever thing the  chica is using you for publicity?

 She one of the MAin charcters  in the Hottest TV   show and Movie franchise?.. I'm pretty sure she doesn't need me...besides, look at all the good stuff she did  and  'hidaway'.. My friends  bar?.. the hospital.. King of Burgers?

 yeah?.. I  know bro?.. Just  wonderin' if you're  wonderin'...

 hey?  I have nothing to lose?, Yuto  got me  a chunk of money  for my contract, even if they  cut me loose now? i still get some for 'services rendered"

Ben smiled.

"At least I am safe from you... even if your feet are not safe from mine!"

He took Linda's hand and led her out onto the dance floor, thinking that taking a dance class might be a good idea. Lu-Ti liked dancing and even in her absence he wasn't short of dance partners.

  Linda  Laughs   as they Dance,..This is   fun?  In LA when we go to parties there is  too much 'jostling'  for attention..people  doing stuff so Cameras are on them, or because the Cameras   are on them...The Party at Adam's  friends   bar and restaurant, was  so down to earth...and here This place?... Its the   'home' of  The Dragons  and   some  folks get up  and  sing.. most folks  just mingle, even the fans look like they belong , I don't Know  how  Adam will like the parties in LA...but we have a few months to worry about that ,unless an 'important' one comes up.

 Adam  Danced  with one of the  Dragonettes before she moved  one to a  Fan who was watching, the  happy guy looked like he  won the Lottery.

 Kane  Game over  and he said,You know?  Little Man? What you guys did  for me  in Camp when that Jackass  was the DC?.. you might have saved my Job...I might not  be here   except for that  day?

 Adam Offered  a   'pizza  stick' to Kane ( after   having asked for a fresh  carton.)...Naw?  Give yourself  credit?   The dick might have been the DC? But Simms
  is the head Coach..he  gets  final  say in who stays and who goes...

 Lots of Dudes got cut.. Lots of  dudes were  released  or traded...

 Its like that everywhere?... always  for  differant  reasons.. there are alot of teams that wouldn't even  bring me in as  an FA. Any who did? would have  let me go because of my size... who knows?.... Don't think about that?.. we haven't lost a  game.. we're making the   old guard   coaches  and owners look like   semi-pros  and we're gonna get a bigger payday then any of us ever  imagined.

 Tell you one thing?.... There's gonna be  some guys  who  get greety and  won't want to resign that Dragon Contact..'Yuto Special'..is what i hear  they call it now..any way.. we could lose  some  guys because of greed... he takes a bite of a pizza  stick,Doesn't matter though?  the rest of us keep on rolling..and  we'll all be smiling at the end...

"Sounds like the Hollywood parties are more part of the job than having a good time with friends," said Ben, trying not to step on Linda's feet.

 Linda  smiled,... You guys  take hits on the field, we  take hits at parties..was your dress sexy  enough, was it too  sexy..did you talk with someone too long..it will be some thing to see how Adam  handles  that. There will be alot of  Writers and reporters who will try to eat him out out there.

  There was some excitement in teh Hall way.. a Helicopter  landing  in the Parking Lot, with Yuto and Lu-Ti getting out.

"Excuse me," said Ben and bolted outside to greet his beloved.

"Lui-Ti, you made it! How wonderful to see you."

He waited until she was out from under the rotor blades, then stepped forwards to take her hands and give her a kiss on the cheek.

 LU-Ti smiled  and  Have ben a  fierce Hug.....Let us go and   and  get something to eat and drink..i have not eaten sice   lk=lunch, with those fools  at the owners  meetings

 Yuto  walked into the   Club area and people   cheered  shouting  'YUTO!"

 Linda   smiled  , with another shake of her  head,everyone seems to Like Yuto..but he holds  thier careers inhis  hands?

 Maybe?.. i mean?  come February, the  new  contracts  will be offered, with the  'updates' we agreed to when we first signed.. people who don't like it, well?  they'll move on..people who do like it..will stay,, people who don't work, and play  badly? yeah?  they'll get cut...but if they are doing that, no one esle with teh right mindset want them here anyway

Ben was ever so glad that he hadn't eaten earlier!

"Yes, of course, my dear. What would you like to have?"

He led her through to the dining room, got her seated and arragned for drinks, sticking to soda for himself.

He ordered a burger with all the trimmings for himself.

Nat parks the car in the Rising Sun parking lot and hops out. "Whew. Made it." She only sped a little and California rolled one stop sign, but she got them there.

 Heather smiled and said," Oh yes we did Natalia but I had a great tiem lets go inside and have some fun, I love to dance by the way." They head into the Rising Son, she will look around and wave to everyone.

 Lu-Ti and  Ben were in the Diner.. Yuto   was  givign the party a Jump start with  some Music and his appearance .

 Linda   was  smilign softly as she watched players  and fans   and  dragonettes  , enjoying the  time toegther.

Ben told Lu-Ti about his day as she ate, especially about the over-eager reporter who'd needed to be reminded that he was engaged...

"Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I have eyes only for you, my love. That doesn't mean that I don't socialise with other women, but there are certain boundaries... I danced with Linda as well, but she feels the same way. She is with Adam. But I missed you, and I'm so glad you managed to make it. How was your day?"

  Lu-Ti waved off the last question with  disgust as their  food  was  brought and she  dug into her chicken Parm.

 ...Most of the owners  do not like us..this is true. They  complain about scoring...again... She takes a Bite  and smiles  at the taste. They keep brining up the Contract... Yuto  told them all , in front of  media, That no one is stopping them from  running the  same program, It is clear almost all of all players  like thier  contracts, but the  other teams complain ...they are saying  'we have many player locked in to  multi-year deals"...

 Father   Says,That sounds like it is your problem..no one told you to throw  money around, then force people to pay more to watch your games..  Another   owner.. I think from the Giants  said," we  will not get good players!"

  ..Yuto , who was very angry, say to him... ".could you get worse players  then you have now?"

 Many owners laughed..Giants owner..very angry.... Father  says  to  Commish  person..."..I think this   enough...we are not changing the way  we  contract our players...if we lose players,,it is good for league? Right..they will get better players then  they have...It may take  most teams a few years  to change over to our contract system..but that is not my problem...many of you..Like Dallas..try to  buy a championship... Money does not score points, or intercept passes...

 Miami  owner gets up and says, "so you will try to score 100 points on us?"

 Father  said.. " Yes..our fans  started thing 'hang a hundred"..players like it..fans like it.. I like it...I do not care how you or your team feel...no one cared how  we felt as we were told  we do not belong in NFL...

 YThen  Father..he  slams  table with fist and says .." our city has grown, we have  Jobs, services and better conditions , then before  we come...Player   do things for  community and  we  fill 3 stadiums!..3 !.. with  people watchign on Big screen in 2 of them... Now? no more Pointless talk about the way we  run our team..if you want talk? talk about the way your  teams need to be run, and do not look  for me to 'feel sorry"

 Commish end meeting with a vote on  rule changes, but none were made..Father, wants us to beat Miami, very badly...

"That sounds like a stormy meeting," said Ben, addressing his burger.

"Beats me. Why do they feel the need to comment on another team's way of doing things? Would they like it if we did that? Started to say that they run things wrong, just because they do something different from us? Let us do our debating on the field: that is the only thing that matters. We'll certainly do our best to defeat Miami and the only way they can stop us is to play better than we do... if they can!"

Natalia smiles. "Me too." She says, taking Heather's hand and heading towards the dance floor.

 Heather smiles and is very happy when Nat takes her hand, they head towards the dance floor, she will smile and wave at the people and players she knew, and then go to the dance floor and dance with Natalia. Heather seemed very happy and having a great time.

  Linda  drags  Adam  out onto the floor , putting his pizza  sticks on a stand up table...let's go  'Bomb'..  I have to go to Cali in the Morning, when  do you have   to be at the Stadium?

 6:00...Caoch staggers the meetings  so its not the same routine   every day..  and we have a Light    work out, mostly skill  and such, Wedensday we start installing the game plan

 ..I have an 8:00 flight... The Amotas got me  on one of thier   planes... I should be  back sometime friday, we're   starting to  make Promos for  next season?... They'll be playing them  during Superbowl week since out  season ends  , last week in January

 she was  quiet  for a bit  as they slow  danced, we were hoping we  were goign to stay with the same network, but there was all kinds of Contract issues... But  , as soon as you  were offered the part  on that talk show?.. things started to fall in place?.. Looks like people what to see if Adam Bronk can act?

 Adam shrugs,we'll see  I guess most of it for me will be  remembering lines, I should be  able to handle most of the  emotion things..'cept maybe  cry..can't see me  crying on TV!

 She laughed.....You guys have a Home stand  coming up, I think the cast is  comign out here for some promos  with you in  costume and  such... hope you  know your 'captain Lighting'..

 You kidding.. I have  a Trunk ful of  Comics  i saved  since   i started  College..read all the books, saw all the shows... the Directors  my have a problem   'fan boy' on thier hands.

 they'll like that? every new person or guest star we have   is either  'clueless' , but wanted to be on the show..or..they wanted to be on the show because  they  know!

  Dining  area  was thinning out as he was gettign late, some players and Girlfriends or  spouses  came in to grab A  quick bite.

  people say on some   talk shows, 'we can't go undefeated'  injuries  and  bad bounces  will  end that?...  Injuries..we cannot help... i think coach seems  doesnot allow   'bad bounces'!

 Cheerleaders  came Up to Nat  and heather...  they were talkign about Lu-Ti   came in with Yuto in a helicopter!!   she  wanted to remind  Nat there was  practice   at the field  at 19:00 tomorrow.
