Darts, Tanith Standard Rules:
The Imperial standard for modern play, favoring precision and patience. Best played while enjoying a conversation or a tall drink.
- Each player gets 5 tries to hit a weedy target, a size 3 (-10 to hit) object 10m away.
- Darts use the profile of a throwing knife (Low-tech, Thrown, SBx2m range, S/2/-, 1d5+3 I, Accurate) and use "damage" to determine points. You can substitute the Degrees of Success on your Ballistic Skill test for the d10 result, as normal.
- Successful called shots or Righteous Fury instead score a full 10 points, but failed Called Shots score 3-1d5 (minimum 0) points.
- No Time Limit, taking aim is suggested.
- High score wins.
Darts, Catachan Variant Rules:
A quick and stylish format, favoring trick shots and emphasizing the need for rapid response under pressure. Best played before a chanting crowd, chased by shots of hard liquor.
- Each player gets 5 tries to hit a weedy target, a size 3 (-10 to hit) object 5m away.
- Darts use the profile of a throwing knife (Low-tech, Thrown, SBx2m range, S/2/-, 1d5+3 I, Accurate) and use "damage" to determine points. You can substitute the Degrees of Success on your Ballistic Skill test for the d10 result, as normal.
- Successful called shots or Righteous Fury instead score a full 10 points, but failed Called Shots score 3-1d5 (minimum 0) points instead.
- 30 Second Time Limit, (6 rounds) including Ready actions to draw more darts.
- Using both hands is suggested, or semi-auto RoF to maximize the time available.
- High score wins.
Darts, Scintillan Variant Rules:
Modeled after the pistol duels of some noble scions, each round pits the two+ players head-to-head. Best used to settle an arguement, before adjourning for hot tea or chilled wine.
- Each player tries to hit a weedy target, a size 3 (-10 to hit) object 5m away.
- Darts use the profile of a throwing knife (Low-tech, Thrown, SBx2m range, S/2/-, 1d5+3 I, Accurate) and use "damage" to determine points. You can substitute the Degrees of Success on your Ballistic Skill test for the d10 result, as normal.
- Successful called shots or Righteous Fury instead score a full 10 points, but failed Called Shots score 3-1d5 (minimum 0) points.
- Staring with darts readied, players have one turn each to hit the target, and then players compare their score to determine who took the victory for that round.
- First to 3 victories wins (ignoring tie rounds).

Players recieve 100 XP the first time they finish a game, regardless of the variant. Winning
game for the first time also nets the player another 50 XP.
Veteran Talent: Flick of The Wrist:
Deft hands and quick reflexes make short work of any foe.
Rank: 2
Aptitudes: Ballistic Skill, Finesse
Prerequisite: Character has won any variation of Darts.
Effect: When using a Thrown weapon with the Accurate quality, gain the bonus damage as if it were a basic weapon.
