Darts, Tanith Standard Rules:
The Imperial standard for modern play, favoring precision and patience.  Best played while enjoying a conversation or a tall drink.
  • Each player gets 5 tries to hit a weedy target, a size 3 (-10 to hit) object 10m away.
  • Darts use the profile of a throwing knife (Low-tech, Thrown, SBx2m range, S/2/-, 1d5+3 I, Accurate) and use "damage" to determine points.  You can substitute the Degrees of Success on your Ballistic Skill test for the d10 result, as normal.
  • Successful called shots or Righteous Fury instead score a full 10 points, but failed Called Shots score 3-1d5 (minimum 0) points.
  • No Time Limit, taking aim is suggested.
  • High score wins.

Darts, Catachan Variant Rules:
A quick and stylish format, favoring trick shots and emphasizing the need for rapid response under pressure.  Best played before a chanting crowd, chased by shots of hard liquor.
  • Each player gets 5 tries to hit a weedy target, a size 3 (-10 to hit) object 5m away.
  • Successful called shots or Righteous Fury instead score a full 10 points, but failed Called Shots score 3-1d5 (minimum 0) points instead.
  • 30 Second Time Limit, (6 rounds) including Ready actions to draw more darts.
  • Using both hands is suggested, or semi-auto RoF to maximize the time available.
  • High score wins.

Darts, Scintillan Variant Rules:
Modeled after the pistol duels of some noble scions, each round pits the two+ players head-to-head.  Best used to settle an arguement, before adjourning for hot tea or chilled wine.
  • Each player tries to hit a weedy target, a size 3 (-10 to hit) object 5m away.
  • Staring with darts readied, players have one turn each to hit the target, and then players compare their score to determine who took the victory for that round.
