So quick question, this comes up a lot in games, is 3k really enough?

I don't know about others but a low lifestyle costs 2k a month...we're barely covering rent with 3k? Unless this job takes like less than a couple days and is dead easy that seems a little low.

Any kind of resource expenditure makes this kind of gig a net loss (mostly looking at mages and people who use expensive things).

It's always a weird thing for me, but if I'm looking at Lifestyles we're going to need 2 gigs like this a month to kind of really move forward with Nuyen and if we're trying to train/buy vehicles etc it starts to get even more.

Poor Fifth has debt that amount to a minimum payment of 3k a month...so really working for less than 5k means he's living on the street.

I might have the wrong idea of how much money we should get paid hence me asking.

A sensible question. But we're new, so it also makes some sense that we aren't getting paid terribly well. We need the work, so we're kind of up the creek without a paddle on this one, I think. Bang it out fast and get another.

Not every job is going to be THE big score. Shadowrunners have to labor for YEARS before they get a high enough rep to get to Prime Runner status.

We are in the 9-5 phase of Shadowrunning. 3k is fair for a missing persons with no known obstacles.

Also, keep in mind, Shadowrunners should be pulling 2-5 Runs per month, depending on how intensive they are.

Nomad is a Street Samurai but has kept his chrome hidden as much as possible. His chrome eye shields that he keeps down are one of the only things that can be seen.
