Question, are we using the 2nd ed book?

Yes 2nd edition book with the expansion cards.  The Survivors Guide has all the rules any player would need and half of what a gm needs. I Kickstarted it hard so I have all the things. The only thing I would ask no one to read are the Strain books, it would ruin the fun.

I also have a great player reference mat but even 1 page pdfs are too big for rpol. Too bad since I also have a form fillable character sheet.

Not a big rush. I really want more players. Plus we are still working on characters.

 I should be working on equipment as per what you said. Players will have stuff on them and stuff in their car. I am modifying the scenario a tiny bit. By the scenario you would have your clothes and about a handful on you. By the base rules you would have 5 cargo units on you. I am effectively doing both.

I figure we should have the characters done by today or tomorrow. On Saturday I can advertise again and hope for the best. I will be posting the game thread in a bit.

On an unrelated note about Training Values. They have two major uses. When you use a tool related to the training value it gives you a skill bonus multiplied by the quality of the tool. The other really big one is reduce time for missions and construction. Example: Say you want to search a 3 bedroom house for anything of value. The base time for this is 13 hours, if a player has an appropriate Training Value of +3 then the base time reduces to 10 hours. Successes by everyone in the party reduce the time. Special exception is spot/listen can be used to do it instantly but you only find the most basic obvious stuff.
