Nice to meet you, I'm Camella our resident Halfling Rogue, still torn between buying tools or a pack mule, but I foresee horrific equine screams should I do so.

I'd say Carpenter Tools. Healer's Kit may be a bit odd for a rogue. How much for both?

13gp, more than enough from my Criminal background to cover it. But the primary thought behind Carpenter Tools is that they're the only tools that potentially give Advantage to Stealth through Xanathar's, among other uses, while also offering a cover story for my Burlgar being up on roofs all day. While the Healer's Kit is a consumable with ten uses that can stabilize a dying character without needing to roll for Medicine, which I don't have and would get maybe +1 to, basically a first aid kit which any smart character would keep on hand for treating injuries and especially if they're acting as trap smith for adventurers.

So what classes do we need? I might allow 1-2 more people.

We got a sorcerer, paladin, fighter, rogue, bard.

Maybe a wizard, warlock or cleric?

Yes. They coudn't turn undead of course and wouldn't know positive enery hurts them (and I might say it doesn't) but they have all the healing and most of the cleric spells.

Valka keep in mind 'undead' are very new :)

Even if the Undead are new, wouldn’t that BE a reason for that feature to exist? Why wouldn’t it manifest as a spiritual defense for humanity against a global threat?

It does not exist. How can turning undead exist if they didn't exist until know and with little knowledge of the undead, there is nor eason to even 'create it'. I don't want anyone with turning ability or some spells that directly effect undead. Later on, possibly. Right now? No. I also don't want a cleric to rush into them and kill them all with une ability. Its rather pointless and the others would be like 'Lovely.' Whats the point in having soldiers if a group of clerics can just clear them out easily. I want this game to be fun for all races/classes not just for clerics and anyone else that can 'turn undead or destoy undead'.

I was asking if it could potentially exist. If you don’t want an unfair advantage over the zombies, I get it. No, there’s not a challenge if a character can just Pray The Horde Away.

Setting that part aside, though, Clerics can still be useful in other ways. They heal the injured and dying. They can purify food and water, sometimes even create it. They can cleanse impurities from disease and poison. Even if we’re banning Turn Undead, there are still reasons to have a Cleric around.

Oh I agree, definatly.

Also having a ranged person could be a good thing as well.

Why not go with the most pew-pew artificer? magical steampunk gunpowder cannoneer type? Wait. Do they need forges and weeks  of work and a network of dwarven miners to make a musket?
