OOC 2: Gorum's revenge

Starting a new OOC thread because the old one was over 1000 posts.

New post is up.  A few things worth mentioning, that I only noticed while setting up the statblock:

1: Shapash used a scroll of Mass Cat's Grace, which isn't actually legal.  There's a house rule that any spellcasting items (like scrolls) can't have a CL higher than your character level.  Since you had plenty of time to buff, I just exchanged it for 8 scrolls of regular cat's grace.

2: Patagogi's scroll of haste normally only covers 5 people (one per CL), while the party is now six members strong.  Since his scroll of communal resist acid was redundant, I figured I'd simplify things and bump the scroll up to level 6.

3: Audrey's post seemed a little confused.  To be clear, the setup for the fight is that the party found the cave empty, only to hear the dragon arrive outside the cave.  Sorry if that was a bit unclear.

Going over my sheet, turns out I prepped ironskin and just haven't used it in my buff declaration. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh yeah, I thought you were missing one of your usual buffs.

One more thing I forgot to mention: Since Erisen's communal resist energy can only effect 7 targets, I gave it to Mortimer but not Pebble, reasoning that Mort is a lot more active in combat.  If that's incorrect, let me know.

SR23... Hmmmmm...

That's probably who I'd target with the resist energy.

Also, I didn't even cast fly? I wonder what the hell I was thinking. Oh well, this is quickly becoming "Operation Protect the Musket Man" for me.

You know, I have to admit I didn't consider just how big an issue that SR would be until you pointed it out.  I'd been wrestling with just how strong to make the dragon, and I think I'll drop her down an age category real quick.  That way, she only has a nice, approachable SR 22.

I like the way you think!

I'll get my post up tomorrow morning.

If I'm reading your post right. The dragon actually doesn't pass his reflex save against entanglement.

Even if it doesn't end up in Tangled because of reasons it still takes fire damage. Unless it resists that I guess.

No, she passed.  You rolled a 27 for her original save, then I rolled a 26 on her follow-up against the fire damage.

In reply to Patagogi (msg # 10):

I'm not sure what you mean by "report".  If it's a typo and you mean "repeat", then yeah, basically.  Your previous turn where you cast mirror image didn't happen, and it is your turn now.  You could do the same thing if you want (with new rolls), or do something else.
