RIP Dean Stockwell

A true legend has passed. I'll remember him best as Al on Quantum Leap where he brought a lot of laughs as he worked to help Sam find his way home.

In a weird way after learning of his death I went to watch YouTube but pressed play on my DVD instead. What was on, an episode of the A-Team he did.

RIP Dean, you will be remembered and missed

RIP Dean Stockwell

being an older player here... he was one of the actors in the   'new' sci-fi  stuff...what we look back  on now as 'campy'...it was cutting  edge back then.

he was  a character  actors , to be sure, but he could  carry scenes  by himself... we are losing alot of folks like this now.

He was also in the new Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek (Capt Archer version) and LOTs of other things as well. Started as a child actor for MGM and went on from there. I been looking over all the stuff he was in, its a long list. From Comedy, to horror, to sci fi. He was a talented person who I don't think ever did a bad character (may have been in a few bad movies, but his characters never came across as 2 dimentional.)
He will be missed.

I liked him as Dr Yueh in the original Dune film.  You felt like he really was being forced to work for the Baron.
