You can add things above the top level? And what is the purpose of having an arrow pointing up? Wouldn't it just be logical to have the thing on top being the thing with the most control?

I know that. I was asking what purpose they served, and whether it would not be simpler to have the thing on the top row being more in control than the things below it. Sort of a visual recognition things. Make it easier to follow...
