Hughm her? I hardly know her! But seriously, folks, humor is the way we make light of the way things aren't as they should be. It's a stark juxtaposition between what should be and what isn't (or is, as the case may be. For instance, it's not nice to be mean, people shouldn't be mean, so being mean is always funny because it's not quite right.
