I've got the same issue.

When I rerolled for my target I sent a PM. But, now I notice that the original number that I rolled no longer corresponds to my target.  I'll keep with my rolled target unless I her otherwise.

I was probably in the top 10 when she initially rolled and then got removed before she was able to actually assassinate me.

NOWHERE does it say that you remove them as a result of a normal kill.
