I thought that acronym looked familiar.

Yeah, whoever the wit was who came up with "Time Wasting and Relative Dimensions in Space" was clearly a Who fan.

Heath:
Crazy guy from the future is attacked by manikins.

At least, that's about as far as I got into the first episode

That was the first episode of season 27.  (I think)

Re: Kids on the Slope

That was the first episode of the first season of New Who. I don't know which season that is in the overall scheme, but for practical purposes, anything from 9 onwards is New, and therefore starts over from season 1 with the episode titled "Rose".

Doctor Who

i think someone forgot to change the header for this conversation, I've watched Doctor who from the first episode, the real first episode (the one in black and white), but I like all of it! Old and new, I accept all doctor who, and I accept all Whovians!!! Lots of people are really snotty about that type of stuff though, don't know why

Re: Doctor Who

Yeah, it's weird. I mean, I think that 10 is the best Doctor, Rose is the best companion, and can't stand post-Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead River Song, but I still accept that there are people out there who like other Doctors and Companions and actually liked River Song's story arc with 11.

Fandom isn't worth getting into a fight over, IMO.

Re: Doctor Who

Dr. Who and TARDIS was mentioned in the last episode of the Big Bang theory.  In the love song written by Howard for Burnadette, he says that being without her would be like "Dr. Who without Tardis..."

Re: Doctor Who

That would be pretty sad. Without the TARDIS, the Doctor wouldn't be able to go on any of his wacky adventures. Or travel through time and space. Or have everyone who walks into his mode of transportation say "It's… it's bigger on the inside!" in varying degrees of awe and/or surprise.

Re: Doctor Who

Well, fourth actually lost the TARDIS there for a while, and he then had to work for UNIT to figure out how to get it back, amongst other things, does anyone here know about Bessy? By the way Kids On The Slope/ Sakamichi no Apollon is a jazz in the '90s concept anime, it's actually pretty good, I've watched it, I think it's still on Hulu, just thought I should clarify

Re: Doctor Who

I need to start watching Dr. Who... I haven't yet watched more than a few episodes. The Silence (if that's the right name) was my favorite story so far.

Revolution

Yeah, Revolution! It's filming in my area, and I have my fingers crossed that they pick me to be an extra! ^^

I like it, though I'm not sure if anyone else here has watched it.

Re: Revolution

I have watched and tempted to enjoy the first season to mixed degrees of success.  I am having a difficult time overcoming the less than ideal acting.

What? Yeah, I guess if you want to go by original start and end dates. But I remember it most from the 90s.
