We’ve been around for years too! Some of us created dirt! Make sure you turn on your rmail by going to the link at the top that is User preferences, there you will find some settings to play around with including the rmail one as that is how you and most GMs can talk. On the main menu there are two forums you can find what you want to play in Wanted: players At the top there is a link that is 'Search Games' and when you click on those words it gives you a more distinct search area for what you are looking for. Wanted: GMs where you can make a post describing the type of games you are looking for and GMs check there for new players sometimes. At the bottom of the main menu you will also find search link to find games and other good stuff. So all I can say now is HAPPY GAMING!! 2nd.. you came to the best gaming site out there..everything you need is on the main page..there is a Browser at the lower part of the main page, to look for games, as well as a 'players wanted' thread...GM/DMs can bump thier ad once a week. when you join, everthing you need is there, including PMs, game threads the GM sets up..Dice roller,, CS ect ect ect.. colors are on 'styled teach for...Using for speech and tons of other things. when you sign on? the Home page is there.. the games you run or play in are right there ( no digging through pages to find your game) as always ..when you have question..ask in here,..Players will answer, and Admins will answer. To add to the advice already offered, you can also gauge interest for games by posting in the Game Proposals, Input, and Advice forum. We have a pretty good pool of GURPS players here. If you go to Browse/Search games and search for Active games, you can get a good idea of how many ongoing games we have here. (Hint: it's never enough for my taste! (= ) You can also find a link there to RPOL's unofficial GURPS Community Lounge (or just PM me, and I can give you a link.) |
