Okay, at first Fletch fired, but a later post makes it look like he faked it. I started to go with actual firing, in which case he actually got a critical hit and maimed Rob so that he could not use his right hand (for shooting, shaking hands, pushing buttons, etc.), but then the next post I saw apparently has Fletch not really firing, so I adjusted accordingly. Technically, no "effects" happen until I post. It's a little harder when there is conversation and intervening actions.
However, there is also no turning back the clock, so once people respond, the move should not be edited or changed. The point is that in real life, once you do something, you don't have hours to contemplate your move and decide between best moves, so if it's posted, it's the same as your character doing the action, even if it turns out not to be the wisest course.
I gave a little leeway on this one because it's a gray area.
