I love the old Fantasy Flight Games 40k RPGs (except Deathwatch) and I had a lot of fun playing them years ago, so instead of throwing my hat into the pool of players that will never be picked up I'm willing to GM a game of Black Crusade.

HOWEVER.

I have GM'd maybe... twice in my entire life, I am pretty much brand new to it and my main problem is I have no idea how to balance encounters.
If you guys are willing to be patient and help me learn then I'm willing to GM a game.

Ya, we got you. No problem.

Nice thing about 40k is that if the encounter is too hard and you die "Well that's just the grim dark aesthetic." if it's too easy and you stomp all over everything for a while "Well it is an over the top science fantasy after all."

Hah, congratulations, didn't notice this thread until just now so I'm probably too late, but I'd love to do so if anyone dipped on you.

If not though, good luck on actually getting to play a 40K game!  It's something I don't get nearly enough of for my liking :(  Man I want to play a BC game that doesn't fall apart after two or three GM posts.
