I don't watch the show much, but from what I have seen in clips on YouTube, the big moment seems to be far more often a good roll, and not a good role playing. Not excited.

Isn't it just completely unaltered Blades in the Dark with any words with a "TM" next to them replaced?

No, probably like 85% unaltered, but a major difference is that the default outcome in Blades in the Dark is Highest Dice, whereas in CO, you can take the result of a special dice on your Gilded Action in exchange for the return of metacurrency...

But that does make it Forged in the Dark
