IRONMOUND:  Arriving

Depending on  where you came from, most outlanders, travel up From Engar, Or Mouri, on the Coast. Ships that have crossed through The Great Mists, find thier way to the large land MAss..it does not take long to find a Ship  from Mouri, or Ironmound to find  them, escort them to the coast, to keep them from running afoul with Red Isle Navy, or some of the pirates and Northman Raiders of these realsm.

Regardless, the trip up the Storm River, to the  Large City of Ironmound, That straddles  the Great river..its  huge  walls and large Iron river gates, make it respected... An open city, it allows  most folks and races in..save for Orcs..only those  of the White Hammer clan may enter, as they have aided the City in its infantcy, and  they have thier own section in the town.

Laws are harsh..fights break out in the city, spells  duels, as well as  fights with blades...you best have your name on a Company Roster, or you find your  way to the Arena.

as You step off your ship,..you are greeted by many folks......................

Re: IRONMOUND:  Arriving

As you debark, most folks do not  take  much notice. The crew is hustling to get the ship unloaded, other  passengers struggle past with thier belongings and  already the Captain is talking  with a well dressed  fellow  about Cargo to take back downriver..or up river, to a coastal town.

At the end of  the wharf ia  a small stand set up. A small flag of Ironmound wavws  about it. an older fellow in a Sargent's uniform sits behind a ledger..two younger men stand behind him armed with spears  and  shortswords, he calls out  to everyone  who walks by, telling  you of the glory in serving in one of Ironmound's services.

A Large hairy chested fellow  with one hand, calls out to those with weapons, on how you can earn  coin fighting in the arena as a free fighter...

But  then, a scruffy fellow who has ben watching  folks debark, approaches you. At first, you think him to be a begger, but the cold intelligence in his eyes and  his well spoken words, tell you, he is more then he seems..

You look around at  some of the other passengers, even those  from a ship thatg was tying off, just as your was warped in by the  rowboats, there are warriors, or women,or both, they hand out small cards and point indirections  of various Inns on the docks..however, this man speaks  to you plainly, yet...quietl...( go to THE DOCKS )
