Re: CAT HUNT 2

Kree and Ivy held their  Bows  on the targets, the Male Drow was oozing charm on his  female partner, and it seems she only had eyes  for him this night.

Kree, if he saw  their two comrades, did not move or flinch, but kept his   arrow trained on the drow.

It was Unknown  to him, who Ivy targeted, But  with Ivy's  backround, Kree thought he may aim for the male, rather then the lady...so..he shifted the target a few inches to aim at the  woman's  chest.

as the others  moved to the targets, and Pounced, Kree swung his bow towards the  Path that came from the CAve Mouth, incase any heard, Ivy, lowered his Bow  and Moved to the right a few yards to get a bit of a Glimpse of the  entrance.

The Woman died  with Eyes  wide as she , first saw Movement behind her lover, then felt the hand , then the blade...
The Drow who was looking up at the sky as he was near the end of his poem, was slammed to the Rock and died  with the Blade crushing through his  skull

Re: CAT HUNT 2

Lucy cleaned her blade on the body.  Then she slipped it back into its sheath.  She moved the body from where it was, to behind the rock, where she had been hiding.  At least, for the moment, it was out of view, of anyone who might come out of the cave.

Diana also moved her body.  She cleaned her own blade, and returned it to its sheath.  Then she waited for the others to catch up.

With a slight nod of approval he  whistled softly  and  motioned  for the group to head towards the   rock where  Lucy and  Diana were waiting.

Ivy moved  up from where he was and nestled in behind Bushes to keep an eye on the entrance.

Heading Krees directions Myranda trained her arrow on the woman. When Lucy and Diana struck she quickly change aim from the slaver to the cave mouth, scanning it expectantly. The deed of silencing the slavers done Myranda responded to Kree's summons and wove her way through the undergrowth to where the others were gathering

Re: CAT HUNT 2

Rolf returns his arrow to his quiver and unstrings his bow as he moves up to join the others.  As soon as the bow stave is on his back, his hand comes to rest on the hilts of his blade, just in case.  But he leaves it sheathed for the moment.

He gives those who did the blade work a nod of approval.  He wasn't sure if these folk needed to be slain, but if they did need it, then best done as quickly and quietly as possible.

Re: CAT HUNT 2

Myranda nods approvingly at Kree's directions, then peers at the slavers in the cavemouth, assessing the range and difficulty of shot. They should be easy enough for you both to Fell; so if I'm not needed otherwise I can lend these two fine looking fellows a hand with that. she suggests wiggling an eyebrow in Lucy's direction in the hope of enticing her to offer to do so aswell.

For all that Luthien wasn't stealthy, he did serve as an excellent hardpoint and escort.

Re: CAT HUNT 2

Attracting the attention of Lucy and Diana Mystal points to each and herself then draws an arrow pointing it at the guard on the right; indicating her intention for the three to turn him into a pincushion. She then glances towards Kree and Ivy repeating the process indicating the guard on the left. Once they acknowledge her suggestion She takes aims at the guard and fires; as the feathers pass her bow she rapidly draws a second arrow sending it towards the same target.

Diana nodded at Myranda.  She sheathed her dagger, and drew her bow, taking careful aim at the guard on the right.  She takes careful aim and lets an arrow fly when the other two are ready.

At first, Lucy shook her head.  She signed using her blade again on the guard on the right.  However, she thought about it for a minute, and decided that Myranda might be right.  Eventually, she nodded to Myranda.

She drew her bow, took careful aim and when the other two were ready, let fly with an arrow.

Re: CAT HUNT 2

The plan ws good....if the timing would have been perfect..but..it was not....................

Arrows  flew   at different  times.  the hail of arrows surprised the Guards   as  each was struck by the first to reach them, However, the first hits  caused the  Guards  to  twist or fall leaving the rest to clatter  against the stone of the Gave  mouth.

the Guard on the  left of the CAve mouth, Fell, both Lucy and Myra's  arrows  hit him and brought him down..Ivy's  arrow  just flew over his head  as he Buckled.

Kree's soft curse could be heard, as the arrows  flew, he was hoping to take them both out quietly, But the scream from the GUard on the right side as Diana's  shaft slammed into his  side, echoed over the   hillside. Kree's arrow  Missed him by a hamster tail...
He  drew his Blade  and Motioned for the others to charge...as the wounded guard wailed....

Luthien closed to melee in turn, though he was careful not to get separated from his charge, and would strike one down, then return to a defensive posture of his protectorate.

Rolf makes a bit of a slow approach, keeping an eye out to see if the wailing guard was drawing any unwelcome attention.  If nothing catches his eye, he'll move on into the cave, trading his bow for his sword.

Diana reacted quickly.  She drew her own blade and moved on the slaver who had given the alarm.  She advanced on in quickly, engaging him in sword play.  She moved to end him quickly, realizing that it was too late to do so quietly.
