Lucy froze in place for several long seconds, listening to make sure that no one had heard the sounds of the commotion.  She gave the wound a light licking, as cats were prone to do.  Then she tore a piece of cloth from the dead human, and wrapped the wound.
There was no sense of letting her blood scent get down wind and warn anyone else.

Once she was sure no one had heard any of the commotion, she move with practiced stealth towards the large building.

With extreme caution, she moved to a small window, peeking in for only 2 to 3 seconds.  She as trying to get an idea of numbers and location.  She moved from window to window, doing the samething.  Peeking for 2 to 3 seconds, looking for numbers inside, and location of any, especially catfolk.

When that was done, she looked for a way to the roof.  She would first, move the human and cougar into the bushes hiding their bodies from prying eyes, covering them with whatever debris was available.  She stripped them of shirts and any other clothing that might be helpful.  Pants, shirts, belts ect.  She then looked to the roof, to see if there was any smoke coming from a fireplace, or the like.

If so, then she would look for a way to the roof.  She would use the clothing to jam any smoke, forcing it down into the building.  Then she would wait on the roof, for the occupants to come running out of the smoke filled building.  AS they did, she would shoot them with arrows as they emerged.

Anyone other then catfolk, she would aim to kill.  However, catfolk she would aim to paralyze.  An arrow to each thigh, to a knee, anything to immobilize it.

  Moving  up , atop the Stone  Building, using  the carvings of the  Old KArth religion , she stood atome  the  stone roof, this building was only an Out building, from its design, one would think it was a guard hosue or some sort thing.

 Mosses and Vibes covered the thing, looking towards the center of the swamp she could see many larger  stone  Buildings, much, much deeper in the swamp. And..perhaps other places that have been over grown.

  she thought to herself...some  12  people left the Building..she had  just killed 2 more....There leader, or who appeared to be the leader, was still inside...she  did see a few people walk about..she saw a Lynx...the smaller CAt Folk seemed to be looking around..as if  it heard her...just before she moved out to get rid of the bodies.

Lucy slowly notched her bow.  She took careful aim, looking to put an arrow through the Lynx's throat.  Or at least hit in a spot where it would make no sound as it died.

She took a deep breath, and let it out slowly.  She took careful aim and let fly with an arrow.

When the lynx fell over dead, Lucy hurriedly went to the body, and removed it to the bushes, putting brush and what not over the body.  She froze in place, listening to the noises around her.  She watched the guard house closely, watching for anyone else to come out.

When she thought the coast was clear, she looked for signs of smoke from the stone building.
If she spies it, she will proceed with her original plan, climb back up to the roof, and use the clothing from the guards to stuff the chimney and then wait till the occupants came running out.  She will kill any one catfolk, shooting catfolk to cripple or paralyze.

If she doesn't, then she will circle around the stone building, looking for something else to use as a wedge to force the occupants out.

  she does...indeed, Hit the Lynx...it  Falls back Grabbing at the arrow  that Hit its Chest ..It spins  around, seeing the  'cat  climb down from the roof...she expects help..Until Lucy was close enough for it to see...and she finished it off..

  Her time on the roof, and  moving about, shows the   Stonework Building to have  no Glass... the Doors or  more or less hanging from rotted   frames...the smoke , she figures, would not back up....the fireplace ( for cooking and heating) faces the  Middle of the room, with the Doorways east, west and North of the  main entrance.

Lucy took a minute to formulate a plan.  Then she went to work.
She took two of the dead bodies, and wedged them against the door, so that it doesn't matter whether it opens in or out, the door will be stuck.

She leaves one door accessable.  Should anyone try and run out the other two doors, they will find them wedged shut.  She then goes about making two small Molotov cocktails.
<assuming she has the "typical" contents in her backpack: flash of oil, flint and steel>
She used some clothing from the dead as a fuse.

When she is ready, she creeps to the front door, and slowly pries it open about six to eight inches, enough to get a good toss into the room.

She will light one, and toss it, then the other and toss it.  She will then let the door close, and then sprint some distance away, where she will take cover, and prepare to shoot those who come running out.

  The tosses them rather well...One breaks near  the  window on the  south wall, the ari coming in aid s in feeding the  fire, of the  debris on the floor, the other lands  close to the door, and  spreads over the debris... There are shouts  from inside   the Building as she runs... the sould of curses  and the rasp of  steel as weapons are made ready....

Lucy quickly withdraws, taking cover in a prearranged spot.  It has a good view of the three doors <just in case they managed to open one.>, as well as the main door.  She quickly takes up her bow, notching an arrow, and patiently waits for the first target to emerge from the building.

Oddly, enough, if it were possible for her to purr, she would be doing so right now.  She is completely relaxed, her mind clear of everything.

   From the  Underbrush, and  Hanging fonds of the  Swamp vegetation. Her eyes  study the structure. Voices  from with in are mixed. There is the Gruff  sound of a Leader  snapping out orders.

 Curse and  complaints from others..even..what she thought, might be names  being called out.

 One voice..ran through the others...a chant...magic...Cleric?..Mage?...

   Slowly the One door opened..the Inside  was  filed  , waist high with Smike, but it was dispersing rather  quickly through broken Windows, and the shoddy Doorways...

 Stiil?..A Burly Human came forth...he  drew a scimitar and  had a Buckler on his left arm, his Leather  armor was well used, but looked to be well taken CAre of..he  slowly stepped out, calling out in a thick accent from the North...names?

Lucy took very careful aim.  She aimed for the throat area, hoping to take out the human quietly.
She closed her eyes, saying a quick prayer to Trall for guidance, and then let the arrow fly.
If she misses, she will draw again, and take careful aim and fire again.
Then, she will move to a different spot.
A second spot she had scouted out earlier.  Till a view of the main door.

  The first arrow sailed  , just past his  shoulder, When his head jerked in the direction it  came, the second  Arrow hit him in the left Shoulder...ATTACKERS!  he yelled  as he Pulled his small shield Up and Knelt  down, looking  for movement,

Lucy retreats tactically, staying in the shadows as she does so.  She backtracks away from the hiding place, and moves swiftly to the secondary hiding place.  She climbs the tree there, and takes cover, among the thick branches.

She reloads her bow, waiting patiently for others to come out the door.  When they do, she will take more careful aim at the first one of opportunity.  She will fire two arrows at the target, then observe what happens before moving next.

  Two  more   Pirates came from the Block house. The stood  on either side of the  wounded man, One had a Bow, the other  a small chield  and  scimitar...They Looked for thr attacker,  the wounded man nodded in the diration of where  Lucay had shot  from.

Lucy maneuvers to where she has a sideways shot a the pirate with the shield. She will take two quick shots, taking aim at the legs or other open area of the pirate.  Then she will move again, to another location where she will have a view of the second pirate with the bow.  She will again, fire at the pirate, aiming to cripple, not wound.  Although, if she does hit a killing wound, she will not be upset.

   Lucy  takes  aim, the First shot zipp towards the  wounded Pirate, but  seems to have been deflected by a branch near the fellow... This cause him to  swing his shiedl over, in time to take the hit of n his shied.

 One of the others  Points,..over there!!!!!


  and the three   spread out to try and close in on  her.

Lucy fires two more arrows in quick secession at the closest pirate, then moves to evade.  She will move into the shadows, trying to evade the pirates.  She will use her training to hit and run.  Trying to cause confusion among the three pirates.

If successful she will single out one pirate, and stalk him.  She will move with a purpose, moving as quietly as she can.

When/if she gets to within five feet of her chosen pirate, she will launch an attack.  She will sheath her bow, drawing her blade.  She will strike with her blade, the intent to silence the target.

If unsuccessful, she will engage the pirate, and then withdraw again.  She will aim to kill the pirate, before his cohorts can come to his rescue.  Using him as a pin cushion if necessary, should they attack with bows.

  Lucy's arrows hiss off in the direction of the  Closest Pirate,  the  First Arrow  Catches him in the thigh, the  second Misses as he  ducks to grab at the wound.

 ...

 as she Moves to  launch her attack, the  MAn see's her  and swings his Blade like a sickle...branches  fli and  Sge wells  a  Deep nick in her  left arm, she  is able to  back away intot he thickness of the trees...t eh man that wounded her calling out to the Block house...

Lucy fires two more arrows a the man, before moving quickly into the shadows.  She will circle around the building, trying to come at them from an unexpected angle.  She will lick her wound on her arm, to stop the bleeding.

She will quickly stalk the man who wounded her.  If she can get an arrow show at him, she will take it.  Otherwise, she will draw her sword, and silently stalk him till she is close enough to use a dagger.

If she uses the blade attack, she will pounce on him, grabbing one hand over his mouth, and at the same time slamming a dagger into the back of his head, or slash his throat, which ever move is more convient.

  The fellow who wounded her Moved to hios Companion, he MOved  the  fellow  back into the block Hosue, the Battered door was leaned into palce again... there were sounds of   Voices..angry..full of hate...

Lucy cursed under her breath.  She had lost an opportunity to strike at her enemies.
So, she climbed up on the roof, and decided to wait them out.  After all, they had to come out sometime, right?  When they did, she would be waiting.

<What is the roof made of?  Could she cut through the material with her sword?>

  walking atop the Stones...a Brief  bit of Movement catches her eyes..she Looks towards the path , the  pirates had  taken.

Lucy did something she didn't normally do, and something that she actually found embarrassing.  She let out a growl.  It was low and soft, but if anyone had been around her, they certainly would have heard it.

Who were the newcomers? She wondered.  New pirates?

She took cover on the roof <lying flat on the roof, to minimize being seen by the new comers> and also did something she found embarrassing, she sniffed the air.

There were times when her tiger self came out.  Even though she had practiced most of her young life to suppress her tiger side <well, she couldn't do anything about her looks> those properties still came out.

Although, truth be told, she found those abilities helpful, it also reminded her of who she was.  It reminded her that she was a "half breed", and that she was who she was.

So, she sniffed the air, trying to get a scent, and listened intently.  She focused on those who were coming.

Lucy crawled on her belly away from the edge of the room, back towards where the smoke had come from.  She had two vials left, and some volatile liquid, she could used for a makeshift Molotov Cocktail.

She went about creating the thing, although, she also listened to the sounds around her.  That was something she had been trained to do, one of the very few things that she appreciated her father's genes giving her.

When she was done, she stuffed some torn pieces of cloth into the vial, and then lit it on fire.  She then tossed the vial down where the smoke came, and then quickly crawled away from the spot, before all hell would break loose.

If she was able, she would resume her watch for the reactions by the newcomers.  Depending on what they did, would dictate her reactions.

  The  Vial dropped  down there  were some shouts  from inside...She could hear them Cursing, as well as a deep Voice  snapping out orders....

Lucy prepared for what was to come.  She found a position on the roof that was out of the way, but had a view of the door to the right and left of her.  If not possible, then she would leave the roof, and find such a place in the jungle.

She readies her bow, to take aim at the first one out either one of those doors.

Lucy did another Molotov cocktail down the "shoot".

She waited again, for the explosion, and the hoped for exit.

Then the idiots <aka the newcomers> began to make noise.  She couldn't believe her luck!

What the hell was their problem? They were letting a perfectly good ambush!
