Re: OLANT

Ivy  shakes his head  as he sits on  abroken Bit of stone, the wind outside is starting to Kick up, the sky is darker then it should be.

...one is an Elf..Not sure what type....judging by   the fingers though?..I would say a dark Elf....the other is  a Human, for certain, by the shape of the skull...nothing left..does not even smell bag, they have been cleaned by scavengers..

Luthien checks the place for lingering evil, wanting to make sure to do his job, at least.

"There's definitely some lingering darkness here...I'll see if I can figure out what..."

Lar casts detect magic on the area.  He uses the ability to scan the ruins.  "Luthien, check for evil.  I can scan for magic side by side with you.  The spell lasts long enough to let me cover the whole ruins."

Luthien and Lar started their preliminary sweep of the ruin, Justin collected firewood which he stacked alongside the fire pit. Keeping a weary eye out for sings of trouble as he did.

Cru sends out his companion to sniff out along with the magic users.  Sometimes dogs are good at seeing and hearing things that humans can't.  He'd be alerted as soon as it happened.

Cru, himeself, stands readied for whatever he may need to do.

Lar stays close to Luthien.  "Working together we may be able to accomplish more.  Point out any lingering evil and I will do the same for magical auras.  The one may have characteristics of the other."

Rolf considers.  The two bodies have been there a while, so no immediate reason to expect thugs in the area and they're not catfolk or orc types.  No immediate cause for concern.  He keeps a sharp eye out, but there's little else to be done at the moment.

Those who seach, only find traces of darkenss...somewhat like 'footprints"  but  not the Oppressing feeling , Like Riku felt in the town.

As  folks  settle into rest, the  storm has  come ion its  full glory..Lighting, and  sheetwash showers..the Company is  quite  dry...Kree takes  a roll of Canvas from his  PAck  , he and Ivy set it up to the East opening, as it  appears the storm is Coming from the River side of the mountain...the Canvas  keeps the  damp wind out and  shields  against rain being lashed   through the opening..

a few hours  and the  Place is  quite warm with the Stones shielding them from the wind  and rain..

Ivy Shakes His head,Damnable spring storms..going to be  an all nighter....

Re: OLANT

Sticking close to the magics, the canine went about sensing any bad that would be headed their way.  When it was all clear, he headed back to Cru.

Riku had been watching the animal from atop the trees, when the rain started, she floated back down and found a dry branch she could rest on.  The rain getting heavier ended that and now was a time she dreaded not having her own tent to rest in.

Kree  Pointed to the wood that had been stacked By other  passer-bys between what we gathered, and that left  by othwers, we should stay well and Dry this night....We should add to the Wood, before we leave though..

He  Checks on  the Canvas  the and Ivy rigged over the  one entrance, and it seemed to be  holding Up well..

..I will rest By this entrance....one or two  of you at the Open BAck entrance...we do not have  any wind or water coming in from there, because of the Trees....

Re: OLANT

Riku attempted to rest on a broken branch, but was in at an uneasy state.  Something kept poking at her and taunting her.  Whatever it was, she fluttered down to Luthien and poked him.  You sense something too?  Want to poke back?

Luthien nodded.

"I think we should do exactly that. Like I told the commander, not all forms of evil can be slain with a sword. We'll leave Brother Justin on standby in case it gets around us. He'll be able to sense it too."

With as majestic as a sprite can be, Riku gave a 360 flip in mid air and wiggled with excitement.

Great!  she said.  Let's get out there.

She positioned her pouches and readied herself for whatever they may face.

Re: OLANT

Nodding to Riku, the pair of them would go home in on the source of darkness. Whatever its darkness was, he was reasonably confident it would not overcome his light.

But he'd have to be careful too. Not all forms of darkness were necessarily an evil. There was a time and a place for a sword.

Re: OLANT

Luthien wonders, then.

"You disagree? If it gets around us, only you, or whichever of the 3 of us gets left behind, will be able to feel it coming."

It seemed sound strategy to leave at least one of the Knights behind to guard the camp, but maybe his Brother Knight sees something he missed.

In reply to Luthien (msg # 384):

Justin nods giving the wilderness Devout a knowing smile. Aye One does; ast we all be part of Captain Kree's Crimson Arrows, it be his decision upon any action to pursue. Especially ast there be only two true knights of faith present.

Luthien almost facepalms at that. He was so eager to hunt the evil down...which is what hunters do...

Kree looks at the three, then to Ivy. Ivy did not seem to care one way or the other  as he was trying to get some more pepper into the stew.

..Go..becareful  do not stay out, overly Long...this place  is warm enough, but the  rain and air are cold.

Lars has the BAck, Cru will stay near him , the rest of us should be able to handle anythig that comes through the  entrance...
