Justin thanks the Dwarf and his guardsmen for their diligence and assistance. Following the wagon into the Town he notes the path ahead and disposition of guardsmen. Once inside he asks a local if there is a temple of Eta hereabouts and for directions to it.

Luthien likewise looks around for a Temple to Tra, asking directions as necessary.

  The wagon  comes through the Gates, Kree and Ivy the last two to enter..the GAtes   are closed  and Barred.  The  towns Guards set up the  torches and lanterns, in case anyone does need in, they can study them.

  Going through the streets, the  roads  are  much better then Olant, but the Town feels...'cleaner'..Lute and Pipe  Music comes from  Inns they pass, the people on the streets  that are ending their  day, greet the Dwarf and his guards..some stare  at the Arrows ..with mixed  feelings.

Lar moves along with the others and looks about as they enter the town.  "So, what do we do with these children?" he asks of the larger group.

  From behind Lars. Kree answers,we will give them some coin from what we sell..if  we cannot get them to a safe Home, we will take them to ironmound. on our  retrun trip...though I feel the elves would fare  better, In  the Razorhawk Village.

Lar nodded; "That may be the best option.  I don't know who we could trust not to take the money and sell the children back into slavery once we depart."

Justin glances at the Mage, surprised by the fellows comment; assuming the fellow wasn't aware of the slight at several of the Arrows, he just made.

The fellow didn't appear to wish to retract his comment so Justin headed towards the Roman and Nurse Temples in the chance they had a Shrine to Eta in either.

Luthien decided to stay with the kids for now...he'd find out if temples were in the city from Justin when he got back, sure enough, and then he could do his own prayers.

  when he approaches the Norse  temple, he Notices a lot of the  figures   have been broken or damaged in some way. There is  One guard outside the Temple, He has  the  Boll uniform on.

Not being familiar with the Norse gods he assumes the statues are that way normally. As he approaches the guard he raises a hand in welcome Well Met Guardsman, how didst Thy day fareth?

  Kree   talks with the  Smith. After   arguing  that he could  " always take the wagon and  Horses to the  Wagon dealer..the Smith  shakes his hand  and  says the payment  will be sent to them   at the  Den Of  Lions.

 The Children are to be  taken to the "roman Temple"...though it serves  as  a place for the Homeless, as they pass through now.


  He walks up to the wagon   and  looks at everyone,..this  town is  about as safe as  we shall get  in the Furman's  Chain. look around, relax..I will get us  rooms at Den Of  Lions. Our Payment  for the  chains  and  wagon will be  meeting us there as well....   he gave the Smith a look and the  Smith Nodded quickly   and  took off his apron to  get the  Coin.

Rolf considers.  "We should see the young ones to the temple then."

Unless ordered otherwise, Rolf will stick with the children until they're at the roman temple.

  Thoiugh Boll, like her sister towns of the Furman's Chain, is  a Member of the Empire, they are a bit lax on those they let into town. Figuring they can always  Kill  Darker  folks, if need be.

  Kree  and the Arrows that are escorting the  Children, head to the Eastern side of  town..  Kree  talks to a Woman in the garb or  a healer, she nods  as he adds, We are Getting  coin for the Goods  we  took from the slavers.. I will return  LAter  with Coin for the children. Rest assured , if that coin does not reach the children's hands?.. You will have the Arrows  to answer to.

 The  woman Nods  and smiles,..You have  No fear, MAster  Elf. Eta has seen to it, that your  people have saved them from a Life of bondage...we  are only too happy to aid them!

  The Elf  Gives  her a gentle  pat on the shoulder, and , one of the few, warm smiles he has offered  to someone outside the Company.

  Takig care of the children, Kree and Ivy ( and  Whomever) walk up the street to the Den Of Lions.

 Entering the door, the Piper who was playing near the firplace stops, there are some  dozen or so folks  eating and drinking, and  3 waitresses ( all human). The Barkeep  is  a One-eyed  Half  Elf Well...May Eta and Neta  dance under the moon! We  have Arrows here!

 Kree  smiles  as he and Ivy   move to the bar, Greyfox, Its been a while...I shall need rooms for  my people, and when you have a chance?..I have  some...Business ...with you.


 The Halfelf Nods,we have  rooms enough, Caravan just pulled  up , onto the main road this Morning,..I shall see you in a bit....Special today is Breaded Fowl...chicken, Grouse, Goose  and Duck.. they Ladies  will bring  a couple  Pots over along  with  ale and wine....then we can discuss...this business..


  Kree turns and Looks around, heading to a Long  table that only has  2 people sitting  at it. Greetings. I have  a compnay that needs a lreger  place to sit...Might we have this table?  he grins   widely. Ivy  is a step back grinning.

 ..Bugger  Off Elf...we was here first...


 ..That..good  Sir?  Is why  i am asking you...nicely...just this once...to move. I was going to offer you coin, but that went out the window  when you  said...'bugger off'...

 ..I would not test him, My friends. We  just had a  run-in with slavers. It did not  turn out well for them, But...well..it takes a bit longer for us to...unwind..after  about  with slavers... his smile as  happy, he also winked at a serving Girl.

  The Younger of  the Two Men Looked  at his friend as he listened to Ivy....


  Off to the side, a Halfling  woman say nursing an ale. The smell of the  Breaded Birds was  wafting thtough the Inn...

Lar ignores the dirty look from the paladin and follows along with Kree and the others to the Roman temple and then the bar.

He stepped up to the table with the others and regarded the two men.  "Better to just share nicely than risk a fight."

Diana needed to relax.  She followed the others to the place they were staying at.  Once rooms were all dealt out, and everyone knew which room they were in, she went out to find a nice, relaxing game of cards.

She had some "change" in her pocket, and she just needed to relax for a few hours, and she had discovered that she was good at cards.  So, she went out to find a nice, relaxing game of cards.

Lucy stayed with the others, keeping watch from a sat off to herself.  She reflected on how things had developed over the last several days.  She had lost a lead to tracking down her father, yet, found the Arrows.  She was still undecided if that was a good trade or not.

She thought about the vampire they had met, and then the slaver which she had enjoyed torturing.   Things with this group had certainly taken an interesting turn.  She thought about the children they had rescued and smiled.  That certainly was a good thing.  She was only sorry the co-conspirators couldn't have joined t damned dwarf on the tree.
She drank the wine, and ate the goose she had ordered.  She wondered what the future was going to bring?

  The Arrows with  part of the Building to themselves saw the servers   bring  forth two  very large  Trays of Breaded, fowl.  The Inn Keeper came over  and  pointed to the  different colors of breading  on the different types of Bird.

  the ale  and wines  were brought over, as  well as a  large Pot of the Caffe that was such a big drink in the desert lands.

 there was Honey, Milk and sugar to go with that.

 Greyfox,  gave  Kree  a pat on the shoulder as he nodded to the rest of the Group,I will let you folks  eat  and talk among yourselves for a bit. Then I will come over and  we  can talk Business...

 Turning to  Kree  he  adds, Top floor has 10 rooms,  there are three cots in each room, you folks  can decide  who sleeps where...No locks on the Outside..unless you are staying here and  want to  look around, we will padlock  it   and keep the key at the bar....on the Inside are two stout Bolts, should keep you feeling safe enough. Now..Enjoy your meal...

 When he left Kree  stabs  a piece of  each bird  and  makes  a Cup of the dark  liquid, putting  Milk and Sugar in it. as he stirs the Mug, He begins,..Greyfox   is a Memeber of the Golden Horn thieves  Guild...some of you might remeber, we woek with both  them, and the Red Blades...but the Red Blades are closer to the dark, then we would like...at any rate, check your belongings , if you carry something you want to sell?..He will buy it a t his price, and either  sell it off here, or ship it to Ironmond  for the Guild to fence.

 A few  folks  are coming and Going  in the Bar. some look at Lucy with either   a grim scowl or wide eyes., they seem to give the Arrow's  side of the room, a wide berth.

Approaching the bar barely much taller than its surface. "A glass of mead please." She says in a soft voice not looking much different than your average human teen. She places some coins slidding them towards the tavern keeper with a smile. One thing setting her apart from the average teen shes attired in leather and a backpack on her back. Possibly some kinda pint sized adventurer? She would make her way up on the stool. "Salad too please." she says looking over the establishments patrons closely.

Lucy did one of the things that she had learned to like.  Watching people.  She gauged their reactions to her, chuckling to herself at those intimidated by her appearance, and staring back at any who stared.

When she was out of ale, she rose from her seat, and went up to the bar and ordered a refill.

She walked over and sat down next to the new arrival. She looked her up an down, smiling a friendly smile.

"I'm Lucy." She said out of nowhere, but more as an introduction.

"So, what brings you into this humble abode?" She asked.

She smiles warmly as she examines the one speaking to her closely. "Im Lillith." she continues to observe her surroundings as they talk. "Looking to make coin actually." she says winking.

  The Keeper  brings  Lillith's   oder over, he  drops it a bit  in front of her.. There is no Malice in his eyes  as he looks to her, but it is plain to see, he is Not Happy about her Presence.

 He turns to Lucy and says,...word of  advice....Boll ain't no place for Cat-folk to be walkin' about. If you go out?. Make sure one of your  group is with you...

 then He looks towards the Arrow's  table  and ask's  ..anything  else?..if not..I got some Business with them folks...

She swiftly scarfs down her salad with no hesitation looking back to the other beside her. "He dont seem fond of you maam." she says shrugging her shoulders pushing her empty bowl away from her before sipping at her mead.

"Well, truth be told, I'm half elf, half feline.  I know, I know, everyone only sees the feline, but if you look you can see the elf." She said with a smile.

She turned to Lilith.

"I get that a lot." She says with a wink.  "Most people see what they want to see.  I'm half elf, but all they see is the cat-folk.  I supposed that can't be helped, though.
"What's your specialty?" She asked.
"I know a group that might be of use of your services." She says.  "I've been with the arrows only a short time, but they seem a pretty loose knit, band of brothers, if you know what I mean." She said.

Lar ordered a beer and a plate of food and then listened to the conversation with Greyclock and Kree.  When the other left he nodded.  "What business do you intend to do with Greyclock then Kree?"

Luthien, who'd been relatively quiet, mentioned serenely, "The trick of it is...there's no elf, no catfolk, just a friend named Lucy. Her origins do not dictate who she is."

  First off..any of you that have   anythig to sell..can sell to him, You may not get as good a price  as you would in a town or city. but you will not need to answer questions....Greyfox, might be just the fellow to help us get the  children  to where they are supposed to be,.

Rolf continues in his self-appointed position of rear guard as they leave the children behind and move on towards the inn.  He's grown to know Kree well enough to not bat an eye as he leans on the locals to free up the table.

Picking a spot that hopefully puts his back to a wall, eh smiles a bit at the aroma of the breaded fowl, aiming a bit more towards the goose.  And a tankard of ale of course.

He keeps an eye on the one at the bar, the one that has drawn Lucy's attention.  Quite a young lass to be about on her own in such rough quarters.... or maybe not quite so young a lass...

Lar considers Kree's words.  He doesn't have anything to sell at the moment but knowing a person who can deal with goods is always important.  "No, I have nothing to sell at the moment.  What better person to get the children off safe than a man who knows how to move valuables."

 Grayfox  Looks over the   team that is at the main table,as he wipes his  hands with a bar towel....I can do that..you might not get top coin, but  you won't  at any other place  either....

 Then he pours himself  a Mug of  ale from one of the pitchers on the table,taking a deep drink. he smacks  his lips and nods, Dwarf Ale  from the High Peaks...good stuff....  he holds the Mug  and Looks to the door, then back at the others,..heard some Kids were brought in by some   Slaver Killers...Guess that would be you? I'll send one of the Grils down to the  Temple,  we'll see what we  can do, and I'll let you know....

 Then He looks at Kree, studies him for a second, as he says,..so?  The Arrows  recruit  Cats now?

Once inside the temple Justin gives prayers of thanks which takes some time he then heads to the inn Kray mentioned they would be staying at.

Entering the building he noticed the the breed is talking to a breed he paused to he assessed the situation before heading over to sit beside Kree. Wouldst yon be one of Thy contacts Captain he chinned towards the halfling

   ...if the Arrows  have  Halflings  as  contacts? They do  not  work with my unit... the halfling  seems to be interested in   Lucy, though...

 The  elf shrugs,if there would be  a band of them, and they were not marked as friendly Halflings?..I would..be moved to cut them down....but?  This is Boll,they do not like them anymore then I do...

Luthien was quiet for a minute...he'd not speak until he was sure of what he spoke.

Justin nodded in agreement then plied several spoons of food onto a platter gave thanks to Eta and began devouring the food. Casting an occasional glance at the other patrons and the Halfling.

With little to add to the conversation, Rolf focuses on keeping the room under his watchful gaze, and of course enjoying the well prepared meal, drinking sparingly of the ale.

Cru had remained quiet.  There were several people among the group that rose his suspicions.  Though it were none of his own business who was part of this militia, he and his companion kept to themselves.

Lar remains quiet as the conversation continues, not able to add anything himself.

   Kree was  just about  to ask for the accounting of the Meal, when  the Blacksmith came in. The  broadshouldered Human, looked about in the Inn. Almost comical in his meekness.

 Spying the table, He came over  with a  thick Cloth  wrapped with  leather a thong. He dropped it on the table, the clicking  made the sound that made  most people  turn out of habit.

 ..There it be...the  Price  we agreed on.... he motioned,..you can count  it if ya like....

 Kree looked at the  Bundle  and shrugged, I turst you, and I also have the confidence , that no fool would ever  cross the Arrows....aye?

 He Nodded,Aye, Thank you for the Business..... he  the Blacksmith Left, his head turning from person to person as he went out the door.

 Kree turned to the Bundles  and  unwrapped it, the  Gold and silver coins were of Mixed towns, but...all-in-all gold was gold, silver was silver, and they all spent alike.

 with delt  hands he  stacked the coins  quickly, Ivy  moved  closer to stand Behind him, making  sure , no one from outside the group wanted to get brave....

   the hand s  moved  almost as quickly as if he was using  his daggers, when he was finished, he had  stacks of  gold  and  silver coin,..There we Go my firends...each of you take a stack...these leftovers  will go  for the meal and the roms this night....

 Ivy reaches  over  and takes his stack with a smile, and   drops it into his purse.

 He Calls over to Lucy to take her coin.

Justin waited until the others had collected their alloted sum. Thanked Each for their assistance and efforts when the last had pocketed their coins Justin scooped his portion up

  Greyfox looks  over  at the water clock,..'bout 2 hours   folks  will be rollin' in. There's a couple  guys  who lie to play fer coin..sometimes , have to drag folks out whe they Lose....but they'll be here...

Lar's eyes opened a bit at the stack of coins and he glanced around the room. "It might have been wise to divide the coin in private Kree.  Now we're all marked as carrying enough to make us worth rolling." Still he takes his share of the coins and secures them in his pouch kept under his tunic away from easy access by pilfering fingers.

  He winks  at  LArs,Aye, you would think  that now....someone brave  enough to try to take out  some Arrows....they minght be worth talking to..or..eliminating...

Lar shakes his head but chuckles.  "An odd way of recruiting but doubtless effective.  It's like hunting for sharks by spreading blood and offal in the water with you."

Luthien also took his share.

"Brother Justin, did you find out what Temples were in town?"

He figured he'd get the tithes out of the way now.

  The   Blue-eyed  elf  laughs,..do not credit him so! He is  just lazy, and perfers the targets to come to him!

She returns to her seat, and begins to eat the food that was prepared.  She goes very easy on the ale, instead drinking something non-alcoholic.

She went to where the money was laid out, and took her stack.  Then she went out to "see the town."

She wasn't after seeing anything in particular, just mostly just seeing what was what, and 'playing tourist' for the most part.

Riku had been fluttering above them and watching with immense curiosity at all the shiny.  When it was all counted and divied up, she fluttered down to Kree and landed on the table before him by her portion.

I don't suppose that this could be....carried for me? she said shrugging and batting her lashes at him.

  Kree Looked at those  , before they could  leave he offered a warning,..we have rooms here... it will be about as safe here as we might get. This is a ..."friendly"  town..but do not push your  Luck, Eta  and Neta, sometimes have thier hands full.....

 A pouch he took from the Cat Folk Leader, that he  and Wolf  had used  for Serpent bait was pulled from  Kree's pack. The  Pouch had  two Claws sewed into it  for decoration...This?  Will be your Pouch..I will have it in  my backpack, should you have need of it....

Lar settled back to eat and savor a drink having no need to try his luck on the town.

Justin acknowledged Kree's caution; when he had finished eating he bid those still there a good nights rest, then headed to the temple. Once there he gave thanks once more to Eta.

She gave him a wink and a nod as she found some where to perch and relax if not just people watch this evening.

Crucian had watched everyone proudly walk up and take the funds.  He was a bit beside himself on how he felt about it.  His keep was always by feeding himself and his companion.  A comfortable mat to sleep on and ever so now and then a bath in a cool stream, to settle for the night.  It was rare he ever actually earned any coin.

All but one of the piles was now sitting before Kree.  Cru looked at everyone a bit dismayed on what he should do.

Keep it, he said.  I'll find other ways of earning my keep.

  Kree looks at Cru and shrugs,..you joined the company, Companies, get paid  when the coin arrives.It is yours, what you do with it...is also up  to you.

Cru looks at Kree and blinks.  He's at odds with himself and shrugs reaching to the table carefully and picking up the coin.  He pockets the coins and looks to his dog with a shrug of he didn't know quite what to do.

He walked towards the rooms area where Kree mentioned and decided it was time to rest.

  Kree    TAkes  a Bottle  of Wine  and heads Up the Steps. Ivy...has moved over  and begins chatting with a pair of Local women who  have  sat at the counter, looking for someone to but the a drink...

 Justin and  Luthien  go to the Temple to  pay their  tribute, then  check  with the Children. The Priests said a Runner had  Come to them not long  ago. and  they are, at this Moment, Looking for the next caravan heading on the MAin road towards  Ironmound. According to the Children,The Orcs   and Humans  are to continue to Ironmound. The Elves will be sent to  Ironwood with  Elven scouts who  visit the  roadhouses.


 it is dark now, closing in on 9:00 PM...people are beginning to walk about  to get last minute  things  from market stalls  or  some of the Businesses. there are  a few  folks standing in pairs or in groups  talking about the Wagon that come into town, the Company of Arrows  at the Inn.

 other Rumors heard...Goblins have been found  Drained of blood...those who found them have burned the bodies

  there seems to be more HArgen troops  hunting the this side of the  High Peak Mts...they seem to be searching  for something..this has resulted in many...though scattered...firefights  between those loyal to the empire   and those of  the Dark State.

Justin considers the what he has heard thanks the Priest, spends some time praying to Eta then heads back to the Inn.

 During the Night, LArs  comes down the steps. He places a  small wrapped Bundle on the counter  and  asks the Night  girl to give it to Kree in the Morining.

  Without another word, Lars  leaves the Inn, heading back  down to road to Olant.

  Moring  Comes, the  Kree waits  for the rest of the Group. Ivy comes in the Door, one of the townswomen, give him a Kiss  and she  , reluctantly , heads out for her new day.

 The Smiling Blueeyed  elf sits next th kree and begins to Butter some bread  and pour some of the Caffee...Good Night? 

 Kree chuckles,Aye, But perhaps, not as good as yours...

 Isra came down, she  seemed to walk with a bit more confidence they the last few days. Good  Morn to you all. How long  will it  be  before  to leave?

Justin's brows wrinkle in response to the Ivy's comment he then shrugs non committal. When Isra arrives he greets her, then partakes of the morning meal, giving thanks to Eta before eating.

Diana came down the stairs later then she intended.  She had been up late the night before, playing the local game of cards.  She had broken even, made a few silvers profit at best.

Well, that was how the cards went.  Up big one minute, and broke the next hand.

She took a seat, nodding a weak "morning" to everyone.  She drank some of the hot liquid, hoping that it had a jolt that would help wake her up completely.

Lucy made her way downstairs a few minutes after Diana.  She had gone "exploring" the night before, mostly staying in the shadows.  At light of a new day, she felt somewhat ashamed of herself, cowering like that the night before.  But she really hadn't been in the mood to deal with anyone's shit.

The whole thing with the kids had left her more rattle then she would have ever let on, or told anyone about.

So, she had gone to the temple, and said some prayers.  She prayed for guidance for her mother, who she hadn't talked to in close to six months.  She prayed for guidance in her search for her father.  She prayed that should she find that bastard, that she would have the strength and wisdom to kill him slowly and with no mercy.

Then, she had gone back to the hotel where the Arrows were staying.

Around 130 am she had finally been tired enough to fall asleep.

After eating Justin gave thanks, headed back to the room to collect his belongings Returning to the common room he waited, near Kree and Ivy, for the others to get ready to leave.

  As he waited for the Others, to wake and   eat. He ordered  a few loaves  of  fresh bread, When  we are ready to Go, each of you take a loaf  of  bread. It may come in handy as we find places to camp, but  food is scare.

 The  Owner  Nods  a bit,  then shakes his head a Kree walks out the door.

   as they walked towards the Gate, Kree says over his shoulder, we will keep the  same order as before. Rolf? it will be up to you, if you wish to  follows rear guard, or stay up with the pack..

 there are a couple women by the gate that wave at Ivy as he walks by. He turns to Look at Kree as they go through the GAte, Kree just shakes his head,..one day, Cousin...these girls are goign to show up at yor doorstep...

 Ivy  smiles  with a Nod as he looks  up the road,...and to thier sadness , i will not  be home, but out Hunting with you...

Tyri walked beside Ivy, her icy orbs taking in the sights that Boll had to offer upon entering. Glad for what appeared to be a brief respite, she wrapped an arm around Ivy’s waist, finding comfort there along with that desire for physical contact.

Lysander trails the rest of the Arrows.  It was his first visit to Boll, so he wanted to see what was on offer.  He was also wary, as many things had transpired on the journey here, and he wasn't sure if things were as they seemed.  Other things haunted his mind, but he pushed those thoughts away, as the time to think about some things was either way in the past or sometime in the future.

Riven looked at everything, a stoic look on her face as she moved. Her thoughts had long been shut off, allowing her to deal with the situations on hand but with this time to relax…there was a good chance that they would come to ahead and she would need to sit down and tell Lysander her thoughts to what he revealed to her earlier.

Farora strolls alongside the Dwarf, seeming to have attached to him for whatever reason. Keenly eyeing all the new sights, ears twitching involuntarily, and chewing on god knows what that was she just found in her bag.

As they lagged the group a bit, Lysander says to Farora, "I suppose you feel kinda like the odd one out in most places, do you get a lot of stares in a town like this?"

''Oh yeah. But eh, let 'em look. Gives their little minds something to ponder I guess. Is there any place ya get weird looks?'' Farora replied, offering Lysander some slightly black, dried food of questionable origin.

Looking at the food, Lysander says, "No thanks, ate last week.  Yes, there are places I get looks.  Most of the dwarves stay to the hills and mountains.  A few move into cities and towns, but they are not armed like me, that is the balliwick of elves and men.  Of course, those who would doubt my ability to use these weapons soon come to realize their error, too late."

 Elandra walked in the middle of the group, she watched and listened as they entered Boll. She said a prayer to Amot as the entered the city. She had many thoughts but was wondering on why their enemy passed so easily. Something might not be as it seemed so Elandra was on guard and watching carefully.

   walking through the gate, Kree  pointed to the  Right,we want to find the Inncalled 'Den of Lions'...., Keep an eye out  for Hargenites, ..

 they turned to the right . past Odd's  Rooms... a pair of Boll  Watch   walked past, eyeing the  Firbog, while  looking at  Kree  for a answer, to an unasked question...kree kept  the  group walking.

Lysander stared down the guards on Farona's behalf.  There were enough oddities in this world that she didn't deserve negative attention.

Farora noticed the Dwarf's gesture and smiled wide, shaking a giant hand on Lysander's head and messing his hair up before turning her attention to the surroundings again.

Krwyn makes up the rear of the group, probably with Riven. He makes sure to know if they are followed by someone other than the curious street boys.

 Elandra as usual walked in the middle when the people looked at Farora badly, Elandra looked at them and said," May you gain Peace, we go with Peace." Elandra smiled and gave them a oh really look. Elandra will then keep a lookout of anything that could be a problem, she looked for where they where going and stayed in the middle of the pack her spells ready to go if needed.

   Walking to the   east, The Arrows  walked down the  street/road, coming up on Sys Inn, with a general Goods  store across the street.

 If  I remember  it right , The Den of  lions is  near the end of this  street, near the Temple district..

 Troops  walked  up in a group of  4, most likley  'changing of the guards"..the SGT  gave a Nod  to Kree who was out in front., one of the guards staring at  the Firbog..with a  bit of apprehension ,

 First thing is first.. we secure rooms for this night, Then we'll go to  the  weapns shop  to the north..after that, you may look around the town, but watch yourselves,,,,Those Hargenites  wouldn't  pass up Boll, none of those  we killed had  alot of  supplies, I doubt  if they were pushing through to The Furman's chain

  The Garraisn gates were open, troops  were comign  and going, in groups of  4, the passed  'Lot's  Rooms"  which seemed more like a  night stop  for  hunteres  and the  like, the  'Den Of Lions  was on thier  left, with a Wagoon shop  across the strtte..The Den Of  Lions  had a 'poorly scupted' rock , that..with some imagination, looked like  a Lion

Lysander looked for dark places to stand, remembering how handy that had come in before.

 Followed Kree and the others in the middle of the pack. Elandra smiled and said," Peace be with you." To the Guard staring at Farora. Elandra would then listen and follow Kree as they headed down the streets of Boll. Elandra took notice of where the landmarks where, and the layout of Boll.

Farora's dilated yellow eyes roamed every inch of the place curiously, having never been in the town, smiling in a rather maternal manner at the children following them but at the same time watching for any others wanting to make a move.

 There were no mud puddles here, it seems the  town made sure   rock chips and stone  was places in the more , soggy areas duckboard side walks were on each side of the streets.

 Reaching  ' Den Of Lions.  The sign said. The people on  wooden chairs out front, smoking long pipes  or shorter  'corncob' styles.

 None of them looked like   warriors. or knights... Dark clothing and leathers, daggers  and short  blades, with   quivers  on thier  shoulders, or  sitting  on the  boards  , near them.

 ..you...folks new to the area?... most folk don't have  giant kin with them...A grey haired  fellow said  between puffs.

 we ran into a  few folks who didn't have a Giant  Kin....They will not be arriving any time soon... and they entered the  Inn...

  smell of stew, beef  and   deer meat, fresh baked breads  and  of course drinks... People turned  and looked who had  entered... The large figure and shortest figure  drew the Most stairs.

   Eight Rooms....

 Kree's  eyebrow  went up... seven, then...

The Owner looked   scrawny , but there was muscles under that homespun shirt.....M'Lord?... we have a Stable out back for your...

 ..I am No  one's  'lord'... and the Firbog is not  'mine'...she is a company member.. if you are worried  about your bed? remove the bed and lay down  mattresses....I also want to know, if your friends  down stairs   buy hargenite weapons...

 ..I don't know  what you're talking about, good sir...I..

 Kree opened his    cloak a little  wider, so the Arrow   could be seen.

the  fellow  swallowed and looked at the others...I..I  will check...Captain... we will have your  rooms  ready....

 and  food    over there. By the hearth... You may tell me when  some one wishes  to deal...or  not....Also, any bones you might have  in the  kitchen, bring  for   My large  comrade to chew on.

Farora snorted a laugh, ''Ya realise I eat about the same as ya?''

  Kree turned  and  looked  at The firbog, his ehad down a bit..nothing  says   we cannot  scare folks a bit..besides..Marrow is good  for you...

''Ah, true,'' she grinned, straightening and regarding the owner, ''make sure there raw will ya?''

 Elandra smiled at the owner and after he noticed the arrow she also made hers very noticeable as well. Elandra then says," May Peace with you good sir." After the scaring tactic Elandra smiled at Farora and said," Peace will be with you my new friend."

''And ya to,'' her fluted ears perked at Elandra's kindness.

Lysander gives a quick look around and says, "I am going to check out the grounds, including the stables.  I will let you know what I find."

Kree  gives a nod to Lysander,should not be too much trouble here for us....It depends  how many hargenites they let in these walls... if you go further then  this Inn's grounds, you take  some one with you...,other then  that, you may take a look around,town... Just remember, hargenites  talk with a  ....extended  'e; sometimes..it is drawn out.. like...'eeating'... or 'beeating'..and they are all very opposed other races , except  when they work with them..Such as Dark Dwarves,Drow  and  even the  damnable Ironwood elves...

"I will stay within the inn's grounds for now.  I will go out a bit further, into the streets around us, in about 2 hours, after some rest.  Anyone want to accompany me?"

 Elandra smiles and then asks the group," Is anyone in need of medical attention or healing?" Elandra praised Amot as she asked if anyone needed assistance.

"Feeling fine, m'lady.", he answers Elandra.  He then goes out the door to check out the grounds.  He looks through the stable and finds himself appalled at what the innkeeper was suggesting to Farona.  He hadn't known her long, but she didn't deserve that.  He made note of hiding places and escape routes, completing a circuit of the entire property.

When Lysander enters the inn again, Krwyn joins him: "When you go out to scout the neighbourhood, I'll go with you. Two see and hear more than one."
He orders two drinks.

"I am good with that."

Farora ate quickly, then ducked out the door, disappearing for several hours before returning looking refreshed, quietly mentioning to Kree she hadn't seen anything suspicious, having just sat in the shadows in the back of the inn, working on some beads.

  when the  food came out, kree  saw a  a Lankey Human by the doorway to the basement wave to him.

  ..save  me a bowl of  stew  and  some buttered bread...  He gathered the  weapons from the hargenites weapons  and  followed the  Man  down the stairs.

 Ivy  took a spoon full of stew , looking at the   Inn Keeper  who just gave a shrug.

 Elandra smiled and replied ," Of course Captain Kree." When the food came out Elandra helped serve everyone, and put aside a bowl of stew and buttered bread for Kree. Elandra made sure all of their group got food, she was feeling the Peace of Amot.

She couldn't help but chuckle softly when Ivy corrected Kree at how many rooms to get and waited patiently for their meal to come. When it came, she served herself and helped Ivy out if he needed it. She made note of where Farora sat but didn't think too much of it. With a smile directed towards Elandra, Tyri began to eat.

Her brows lowered in what one could assume was a scowl when Kree went off downstairs by himself. Positioning herself to where she could see the door that he would reemerge from, Riven finally lowered her mask, sipping at a glass of wine though that anxious gaze continually returned to the door.

Lysander ate quietly, looking at no one, feeling safe, if only for a moment. As soon as he was done eating, he planned to go to to the room assigned to him to get a quick nap.

   there was some Nosie in the cellar, most folks ignored it, the  Inn keeper looked nervous. Kree   came up the Door  with a  rather young looking tough, who had some blood  on his face.

 Waving the Inn Keeper over,  Kree took the man's bar towel and wiped off his blade...This Fellow here, Is know  as Jerken. Is is now the new leader of the Boll's thives  guild....turns out  the last fellow  was a bit...indebted to The Hargenites, and seemed to take issue  with how we dealt  with the  patrol we  found...The old  Guildmaster  and two of his guards   will be taken out the Back  way and tsaked  to trees.. I think they may all be dead?..either way..they will be  dead by morning.....after   we got the vermin taken care of  I sold the weapons we gathered  since we left Olant...

  Do well  , Jerken and  remember the Golden Horn is always watching...  then  fellow nodded and bowed a bit, and returned to the cellar with a pair of  people following him down.

  As Kree sat, he opened  an old, well used purse, that was not his,I gave then a sword or two for free, to arm thier people...and to make the coin balence out...

 he  placed a small stack of  5 silvers in front of  The Arrows there, Including Farora..there was one Gold  coin in the  Mix, he handed it to the Inn keeper....for our rooms and  food...

 The In Keeper's eyes grew big and he thanked  Kree , setting off to the bar  to get another pitcher of ale .for the table.

 Kree waited  until the Inn keep was gone, before he said.Boll was indepenant, as far as thier Thieves Guild  went...The leader must have thought  he could bring alot of coinover the mountain... I..um..suggested...that  they join as a branch of  The Goldne Horn, that is  based in Ironmound, after  telling them of  all the goodly side jobs and work on  Pleasure Street...most of them seemed  eager to join...then i noted the disgust of the   Hargenite weapons, so  i made a detailed  story of how  we fared against the Hargenitesand mentioned that the Arrows  were allied with the Golden Horn...Myself  and  4 of the  thieves down there  took care of the old guildmaster and his two bodyguards.. we should have a safe place to hide  and  fence things in Boll...

"Can't let you go anywhere by yourself," she said in jest, a small smirk on her lips. Trouble always seemed to find him and she didn't like the idea of not being able to protect him.

"That man doesn't need our help, he just tolerates our presence."  Lysander laughs a bit, "Back soon for a trip into town." Then he goes up to his room for a short rest.

  Kree smiled  slightly,..i know  many  rogues  who are able to outfight  knights....there are also rogues who are gutless, and took up the  role, because it is easy to kill in the dark, from behind.... The fellow  down there, who used to be  the  Boll Guildmaster, was Gutless, sold out   folks  for coin and power... The younger   fellow is an Idealist...he'll steal and rob and kill, but he will have reasons  for it.

 To Lysander, he said,..it shopuld be  relatibely  safe in this town, but  stay with the rule of  going in pairs or more.

Lysander feels almost relieved to feel peaceful for a moment.  He knows Elandra is always talking about peace, but it seemed that he hadn't gotten a peaceful rest since long before he came to Ironmund.  He hoped to be up in 2 hours, but there was no guarantee of that.

When Lysander tskes a walk around Boll, Krwyn joins him.

 Elandra took her 5 silver and put it in her purse to give to a temple or a family in need of it. She smiles and waves at Lysander as he goes up for a nap. Elandra will find a quiet corner and say her prayers to Amot, when she is done she will join the others.

After a nap that seemed all too short, Lysander joined Krwyn for a walk around the city, hoping to just enjoy it.

Farora kept to herself, working on tiny bone beads with surprisingly steady hands, giving one to a little girl who came to stare before her mother dragged her away. After an hour or so of the delicate work, the Firbolg nodded off leaning against the wall despite sitting on the floor.

 As Krwyn and  Lysander leave the   Inn, they look at the darkness  around them. The  lamps in Boll were oil, perhaps from serpents of eel.

  they could see  the Inns  fair  enough with thier lights glowing through  Smokey windows.

 Ivy  patted  Kree on the shoulder,..Time  for a soft bed, i should think, see you  for mornfest., He nodded to the others and gave  Tyri a look, before ehading to the stairs.

  The  Inn keeper tossed him a  keywith a  number on..

 Kree   sat at the   table leanign back a bit. An older   fellow in homespun, approached,so?..just like that ye brought them Hargenite  weapons and such here, ain't not of you scratched.....howda ya get thier stuff then?

 Kree smiled  a bit.....We made them dead...then we took thier things...hard to  get...scratched'  that way?.. If you doubt my word, dow  south and west a bit...there's  a path the scum have worn  down this way..we  have a few of them staked for a warning...

 The Fellow looked  around   and then went back to his table.

Lysander asks Krwyn, "Want to get a libation in one of these fine establishments?"

Walking towards Sto's Tavern, Lysander turns to Kyrwn, "This place looks like a nice place to bend an elbow.  I am thirsty."

"One drink would be nice; see if they have some elven wine here," answers Krwyn.

"I think I would prefer a nice dwarven ale, but I won't deny a friend whatever he prefers to drink."

With that, they approach the doors.

  Entering  Sto's , they see a  plain  tavern, with a flight of stairs  leading up, to the inside of the   bar, on the other side of the   stairs  , a hearth  burned  low.

  the Inn wasn't  fancy, there was the smell of stew  from the kitchen, and  some bread  baking, but the people here did not look overly  wealthy.

 As   Gruff lookign  dwarf with a cloth forester's  hat on his head, and leather jerkin Sat behinf the  bar  pouring a drink for a  Human, who looked like he  could barely  pay for the drink.

 On the  wall were some  heads of  creatures, Mostly forest creatures. There was a Tou Battle shiled  on the  wall. 2  Dwarven Crossbow bolts  sticking , out, only  by the fletchings.

Lysander approached the bar, smiling.  "I will take a Dwarven Ale, some Elven wine for my friend, if you please."  Knowing he is overpaying, he throws a gold piece on the bar.

 The Dwarf's  fuzzy eyebrows  rose..I  'ave Dark Ale from the Dark Dwarves, i got  some Amber ale from  the Mountain Dwaves, ...far  as E;lf  wine go, we have    the harvest wine, and that Berry wine they seem ta like an' all....You be neededin'  roms?  I put  al me  money into  rooms  and  drink, figure, i can fancy up the place from what that brings in..

As he  waits  for the  choices of   drinks, the  Fellow  says,..your  elf  friend, don't seem like  tno Ironwood elf...an' ye dunna have the Look of  a High peak Dwarf?

"Good assessment my friend.  I will have the drink of home, the Mountain ale, made with the purest of waters, so cold it stays that way forever.  I will let my friend speak for himself, but as to lodging, maybe on our next visit, as we have rooms for the evening.  How is the stew?"

Kyrwn might have never seen Lysander this jovial, and might never see it again, but for tonight, he feels comfortable.  Woe betide the one who would ruin that mood.

It seems that this is a place Krwynr too could have a good feeling. To the barkeep he answers: "The harvest wine, I prefer, master dwarf. And yes, your eyes don't betray you: I'm not an elf from these regions. Some years ago I came from overseas and wandered the region till I met my companions."

"And a finer group of companions one could never have." The dwarf reaches up and pats the elf on the shoulder.

  The Dwarf   nods as he he picks the Harvest wine from the  shelf that loks like it  was made from stone...This  ain't  that fancy Elven Gold..but i think its  juts as good!...

  Pouring  a  Mug for  Krwyn , placing it  down in front of the elf, he  turns  to  a great barrel  that has  an etching of  a Mountain with clouds  at the top,pouring a generous tankard for Lysdander.

 Stew's one of two types, we got us  some Deer stew,  I have  some Lads  who'll hunt, and i go out once a week fer the fun of it.... The other, is...is..

 He looks over his shoulder at the Kitchen Door  then leans closer,Supposed  ta be chicken?..with  creamy vetables..but truth be told, the cook  uses  Pheasant and grouse  and some of the  High Peak Bush birds..they are all good  eatin', but   we  don't get enough of them, just to have roasts, so she  makes the stew.. blends them together, she does..makes  for a good   meal...but.. you get three kinds a birds in there..

 Looking to  Krwyn,I sometimes wonder, if  These lands woulda had  any people at all, if it  weren't for them damnable mists, we gets  all kinds, from places  we  ain't  heard of...

"I will take a bowl of the deer stew, thanks.  Anything for you, my friend?",he says to Krwyn.

 Elandra smiled at the man and Kree and added," We took their Peace they did not deserve it any longer. We bring the deserved Peace to all we meet. So what type of Peace do you deserve Sir?"Elandra smiled and took a drink of the wine she was drinking after her meal.

 Elandra then stood and said to Kree, " I should do my prayers and get some rest as well, regain my power with Amot. If you need me Captain, just call and I will be by your side."

 Elandra smiled and gave a slight bow, she waited for any responses and then headed for her room to pray to Amot and to get some rest.

  Kree  gave a  slight smile to Elandra,Rest well, we will leave   after   we break our  fast , tomorrow.

 The owner looked at the sleeping   Firbog,what do we  do with this?

  Kree shrugs,SHE...is sleeping get a  blanket or two to cover her, and  we will still pay the price of a room for her, Its been a long march  seeded with some combat... everyone needs  some rest.

Tyri had finished her meal a few moments ago and was just nursing her wine when she caught Ivy’s look, answering it with a subtle nod and a smirk. As Ivy headed towards the stairs, Tyri finished off her drink before standing up. “See you guys in the morning,” she said with a mischievous smile before following after Ivy quickly. Meeting up with him at the stairs, she grinned and wrapped an arm around his waist as they ascended.

"Shouldn't you be heading off to rest as well?" Riven asked Kree, a brow raised as she sipped from her own glass.

 Kree gave a slight smile,aye, as soon as i finish this drink, I have the  nature, more suited to those elves  that came from the great Mists...That was  my mother's  side.....But..i still need  to sleep  at times, as  every one else.

"Mayhaps I might...join you?" she asked quietly, glancing up to him from her drink.

  Kree  gave a slight  Chuckle,..If you wish...i must warn you, i am a very light sleeper

 he  downs his  wine, and stands, , looking at the  counter, he points to the Firblg...If  anyone bothers her?..Kill them. if you do not wish to kill them yoruself...call for me, I have no qualms of whom i slay..only why......

 He  Picks up his back and Bow, heading to the stairs.

She laughed softly. "I don't sleep as soundly as I once did so I will try to make it a point of being quiet if I am up and you are not." Finishing her own beverage, Riven stood, gathering her own gear and followed after Kree.

"For me a bowl of deer stew as well," answers Krwyn the bar keep's question. "And what rumours are new in town, with respect to the relations with the neighbours?"

  The  Dwarf   gives a  snort as he calls  back  for two bowls of  deer stew...Neighbors?   Heh.... We have  them flighty Elves from Ironwood  move through, buying supplies, selliin'   game and  furs,  Got  Furman chain folk, of  various races  doin' the  same  thing... Olant folks, at least ones in Unifrom, we don't trust much, but thier  coin still spends like anyone  else.

 we get some Goblins  come around, they sorta  took over the ruins a few years ago. They don't  cause  much trouble if ye  don't trouble them, even have some  folks talk about them  helpin' out  against  orcs and such.

 The ones  we dunna  trust, is them Harganites, they come through as hunters..but they never have pelst or meat ta sell...never have  any thin'  that might have  come from adventuring, but when they leave the area.. there's  always a couple people gone missin', and  don't get found.

  Ivy and Tyri have been in the  room about  an Hour. The elf  builds  a small  fire in the  small room, they have the next to the last room

  The  Barkeep  goes to hand Kree and Riven  a key, Kree Just takes the one... The Barkeep looks  at Riven  if she wants the other.

   entering the  room, Kree looks  around, they have the  far end of the hall a small window looks out over the alley and a wooden staircase that leads  to the  rear hall door. He too, builds a small fire to take the  chill out of the room.

  He  shuts the  door. Locking it. leaving the   key in the  hole,Taking a  throwing  dagger from his  collar, he  slips it  gently between the  top of the door  and the  frame.

  Smiling , he says.Someone might  be able  to  pick the lock with the key still it, and turned?.. but they cannot  stop the dagger from hitting the floor.

  walking to the bed   , he notices , only one...giving a shrug he asks,left side or right?

"Slavers, that's what the Hargenite are.   Have you seen any recently?  Any in town now?"

  The  Dwarf nods,we had a couple  about an hour ago,  they're here  an' that's fer  sure. They make sure they don't cause too much trouble, most folks don't  like them none. They Like that coin they carry though

Tyri reclined on the bed, watching Ivy before giving a languished stretch, a smirk on her lips. “We definitely need more moments like this,” she said softly, clearly enjoying the moment of reprieve.

 Ivy slides his balde from its sheth and  jams it into the  floor  board, with in reach of the bed...

  ..well... You have taken up with the wrong folk, if you like  'quiet'...for us?  quiet comes  when  all  the foes are dead.

he takes off his  jerkin, noting that the Ogre  bruises  have  vanished.  he  sits on the bed, and slips off his boots...

  with luck, we will stop at  some of the  Firman Chain  towns

Riven waved off the other key, giving a slight nod with her head towards Kree, indicating that she would be staying in his room with him. Following him up the stairs, she looked around, making note of things such as escape routes and such just in case it would be needed. Once in the room, she set her things down near the foot of the bed before slowly removing her black leather armor until she was in her black trousers and a somewhat form fitting black shirt. Though she was comfortable in her well-worn leathers, it also felt good to get out of them from time to time. There was only a brief pause when she noted how Kree locked the door but to her, it was smart. “I prefer to sleep with my back to the wall,” she said, answering his question while she removed her shirt, revealing a tanktop underneath. Even with the meager clothing, he could easily see a well-toned form along with many scars running up and down her arms and torso.

"You wouldn't happen to know where they are staying, would you?" He slides another gold piece on the bar.

With a chuckle, she shifted on the bed and wrapped her arms gently around his neck from behind, kissing his neck softly. "I do enjoy these moments greatly. But that is because I get to spend more intimate time with you." Yes, she was still adjusting to the constant danger and making it a point to right wrongs but it also meant that she would make the most of their downtimes.

  Ivy   smiles  as he lies back on the bed.,,this is a very uncertain life...any one  we  meet, we  may have to kill, or they may try to kill us?...the other option  is to close  our eyes  and walk away from those in needs...and  we will not do that.

 Elandra's  room was a few doors  down from Ivy's. with Krwyn's room nect, and Lysander's  closest to the top of the stairs..

 The Bar keep leans   to the counter, his eyes shift about... they'er about, we  'ad a couple  'ere  a night  ago, but they moved on..ain't hard to tell them though, Thier  side of the Mountain gets  lots more  sun then we do on this  side, they have  deeper tans, and   that   odd accent, you'd   fine a few fer certain, if  ye  went from  bar to bar...but, don't see no reason to ruin a good night's  drinkin' fer  some   hargenite  scum...

 Elandra got to her room, she removed her vestments and armor and the knelt to begin her evening prayers too Amot. Once she was done she cleaned up as best she could and then decided to get some needed rest, she was worried about Farora sleeping down in the tavern. Elandra said a little prayer for her and then laid down in the bed and got some sleep.

She pressed up against him and kissed his neck as he spoke, inwardly agreeing with him but not vocalizing it. "Hmm...well...I suppose we will have to keep each other warm..." she muttered softly in his ear before giving the lobe a light nip.

Riven looked a little surprised and found herself blushing at the remark. "Um...most of them are nothing exciting...just the life of a slave or taking the beating from one who didn't deserve it. That was how Mihail and I worked together...I'd infiltrate...he'd plan and execute based on my information. Broke up many slave rings in Tou...and one of those, you and Ivy played a role." A smile formed on her lips as she recalled that memory of her first encounter with the cousins who didn't even know she was an Arrow at the time. "A few are from various skirmishes...and this one..." She paused and lifted up the hem of her tanktop revealing a particularly nasty looking scar that started at the top of her right hip and angled diagonal and down, disappearing below her trousers. It looked like it had been stitched but the job had been rushed. "This one killed me," she chuckled, pausing briefly before continuing. "I was out of it for several days before a proper healer that was trusted could be found."

With a slight shrug, Riven stripped off her shirt, revealing cloth bindings along her chest to help hide her true sex. Turning, she showed more scars from various types of whips and then one that went straight down her back from shoulder to hip. "That one was from...my flight from Tou when Mihail was killed. I had to go back for his arrow..."

Lysander said, "More than one Harganite has felt the sharp edge of my axe, but, you are correct, it would be a shame to ruin a good evening."  He moved to a table so he could eat and drink.

 Kree gave a sl;ight smile he layed his  Tunic   over  one of the two hairs, he moved the  chair  so the tunic, would blacok what could be seen from the  syaoir  way, His  weapons belt   leaned against that chair, the peace knot off  his blade's hilt.
, Laying  back, he  left out a  slow   stream of  air..

 Its plain to see why the Hrgenites  could  set up a dock, or whatever it is , in the   Widow river Gap. Hargenites running  through the High Peaks,,, Iron wod  Elves trying to make up  for  wasting most of thier trees..Tou and Olant... Makes  me wish , Ivy and I would have stayed   , beyond the mists.

"And what good would that have done?" she asked as she slid her trousers down and off before removing the bindings on her surprisingly ample chest for an elf. Tossing everything into a somewhat neat pile, Riven sat upon the bed, not the least bit uncomfortable in her nearly nude state. It was interesting to see how methodical Kree was with undressing and his gear. "Sometimes I wonder what it is like to not...have to constantly fight...to live...I guess you'd say a normal life but at the same time...this is all I have ever known."

"Oh shush you," she laughed and kissed his neck as an arm snaked around his waist.

  Ivy  Pulled her   down,  and draped the  Covers over  them,..I Thinking those   Wahons  and horse trails you used to follow, look pretty good  now... his hand played through her hair.

 There is not a person alive, who does not live in some 50 room manor, that knows  what that feels like?  Normal folks  fight through each day, earning coin , in one way or  another, in hopes of feeding their  family and keeping the   roof? Smaller  merchants have to hope supplies  are constant and  they can make coin, while  selling their goods  to folks who need ot want it...Guards and troopers..thier lives are fighting, sailors face more dangers then i would wish to face....

 People  , such us  us, face three  choices? We fight until the  Day the Sisters  were not paying attention, and some shaft or Blade brings us down for good.....or..we may be lucky enough to retire, perhaps be a forester or farmer.....or.......we stay in this life, until we are sitting  behind a dexk telling  other where they need to go , to kill or die..or both, I know Reedrick Hates being  in Ironmound, he sneaks out to  kill a few folks  now and then, but that is no longer  his job.

 behind  him was a half Orc  fellow  with  6  bands on each arm, , a large scimitar  hung from his belt...

  Watch  yeee Mouth  Dwarf, or  I will takee meee business  eelsewhere... We  will have that  empty Table , bring  food  and  Ale  for the three of us...

 as they walked past,  Sto Axebalde  calls to  Lysander and Krwyn...Yer  desert will be out shortly.... he cast a look to the three who walked to the   table and nodded.

 The  fellow sat he reach inside a fine leather tunic  , pulling out a small book..Axe Handle..is it not?... yes... could you tell meee of  any folk in town  with that adventurous  spirit,that might want to sign on to crew  one of my ships?

The dwarf slammed  his thing  fist on the counter...me food is good... me wine and ale   is strong... if ye gonna  keep mouthin' like that, get yer   fancy ass outta  me  bar.

Lysander whispers to Krwyn, _{"You want to help take out the trash?"}

She smiled, enjoying the sensation that his fingers in her hair caused. "It's a pleasant life honestly but it is not without it's hardships," she softly murmured. "I think you'd fit in though..." she chuckled before kissing him deeply.

She watched him as he spoke, considering the choices that he lay out but the last remark caught her off guard before chuckling, blushing. "Old habit...but I suppose I could." She raked her fingers through her shaggy wheat colored hair. "So...which category do you fall into?" She asked.

And Krwyn answers Lysander in wispers too: _{"If the owner needs help, I'm ready to help. But wait till he needs it."}

  Kree    decides to  take his eyes  away and look at the ceiling,..I am, of the group  that will decide what he is to do ,when i catch the fellow who sent the  Slavers  to the Black Timber... his Slave Master  and   family  paid a very deep price.. but it is not  enough, until i  have him staked to a tree.

But his family from the youngest child, to the Mother, got to feel the pain  and  fright  of what was happening to them, until they died...and the Slave Master  had to watch  every bit of it.....when they were  done..the Slave master was given over to the Goblins as well... we heard his screams for hours after  we left that burning compound  for the Goblins to spoil....and i told the  Priest, His family will never enjoy   a good life, from the pain of others, and He will never  send out  another raiding party..

Lysander nodded, and then took his bowl and glass and moved to a table near the door n, just in case.

A small smile spread upon her lips as she watched Kree, studied him while he spoke. "I think I fall into the category where I will die doing this...but I have long accepted that. Of course I seek revenge on those that killed my brother but also the Arrow who betrayed us," she paused for a brief moment before shaking her head. "But enough dark talk...let us enjoy the night..." There was a smirk on her lips as she regarded him.

She giggled. "Mmmhmm..." With that, she leaned in and kissed him deeply.

  Ivy and  Tyri spend  the time   wrapped in the sheets and  each other...

 Kree  gave her a  raises   eyebrow...enjoy?... oh..well.. Ivy has a deck of  cards in his backpack, they are most likely marked..

  The Half  Orc  approached them,...My Captain has need  of  men for a ship his   Commander has    given him, we would like you to sign up... if you sign up, you get two gold coins  now, and 5  silvers a week, You will have to sail for  6 months, or  , until the Ship  docks at Olant, Yad  or down the road  at the   Boll ferry...

Lysander took note, but pretended to ignore them.

"I can relax to a degree...I know you have my back should anything happen...out there...I have to be on alert since there are more to watch over...more to protect," she chuckled and shook her head. "If you wish to play cards...I have Mihail's old deck...they are marked as well." Once again, she seemed more relaxed and completely comfortable in just her near lack of clothing. Playing the part of a slave had forced her to get over any kind of modesty.

  well, if we're going to sleep  You best get under the covers,  that small fire will not last the Night, we best  store up  some heat.  Kree   lift  the Covers, for her, and   went under the other side..

 The   burly human approached   Lysander, and Krwyn...what 'bout you two... a few months of sailin' for a  purse  full o'coin, as well as  share of aspiols..

"No thanks, I have no desire to change employers."

With a chuckle, Riven slid under the covers, rolling to her side as she got comfortable. It was nice not having any expectation of her at that moment aside from warmth...that she was able to just...exist. It wasn't often and the company was enjoyable.

"No thanks, I like to have solid ground under my feet. And my employer would not be happy when I would change to your kind of work." Krwyn grins when he speaks this line.
His arrow would perhaps not be visible for the man, but is not hidden as well.

   The   Man   , went back to the Table and  Talked  low to the   'Dandy' officer.. as he  spoke he pointed to his  own chest and said something.

 The   Officer   frowned and shrugged  as they began to eat.

 then did notice one of the barmaid   slipped out the door...

Taking note of the barmaid, Lysander will covertly watch to see if anyone follows her.

  Kree  Moved a bit  closer, he still had his breeches on,  as the warmth began to  gather  under the blankets, his eyes   closed ..and soon he was  asleep.

 Ivy  and Tyri  were a bit more  active.

At some point in the night, Riven snuggled up to Kree, sleeping somewhat soundly...at least for a few hours before the nightmares kicked in.

  kree was woken by the snuggle, though only his open eyes betrayed that, when he was sure the room was  safe, he used his free arm  to adjust the  covers  abit, reaching  to Pull his cloak from atop his backpack and put it over    Riven's  side   of the  bed, to add a layer..the fire was  almost  done, Kree  tried to settle back to sleep.

  despite the time  of night, it seemed no more  people were entering the Inn.

 The Captain and his  men called for seconds, of  both drink and food.....Inn Keep? were are  all your   customers?.. your food   is passingly  good? the ale and wine  are acceptable?

 ..I gets  folks who have to work hard for thier coin, sometimes the next day comes  quicker then they would like, so's they stay home.. You  dunna like it  here, , Move on.

Lysander bristles at the way they are treating the inn-keeper, but holds his peace, for now.  He will remain, even though they ruined his good mood.

She felt him shift just a bit when he reached over to grab his cloak, her eyes opening for a brief moment but the sleep took hold. When her eyes shut, she buried her face in his neck, an arm snaking around his waist.

  The hour  grows  late, a   woman dressed   , in a roguish manner  entered  , went to the Captain and smoke  softly as she  rested  her hand on the basket hilt of her  sword.

The CAptain frowned, he  stood, giving her the unfinished bottle of  wine, and placed a  few coins on the table.

 I can see why our in  looks so run down, you hardly have the  clients to pay for your   food...

 as they walked towards the door, He stopped a moment, looked  at Lysander and Krwyn,we still be in need of warm bodies to crew my ship..... we may be seeing you again.
 they left. followed by the  woman  who took a swig from the bottle, keeping it..

  The Night was getting late.... The owner stayed  at  bar to make certain , no one  would nother  the Firbog.

 everyone  else   slept  soundly, thought the   server girls   shut  and latched the  windows  to keep more  heat int he building.

"I think we have to be carefull on the way to our inn, because we could meet a pressgang eager to enlist us involuntarily," says Krwyn to Lysander.

Lysander approaches the keeper, "Are they always that rude?  Seems to me we might want to be here when they return.  Maybe we will bring some new customers."

"Aye, Krwyn, We should go get some sleep.  Tomorrow might be an interesting day."  He will be as watchful as possible on the return to the Den of Lions.  "Gonna be an interesting discussion at breakfast, no?"

leaving the Inn, they saw the  woman  who had  left earlier . she looked  cold  if  with ther    wron cloak, on she was shooing folks away from the Inn,, the  captain  and his two thugs  were  heading   down the street towards  the main gain  direction.

Lysander will hand the lady his cloak, he knows he can get another, and will press on towards the Den of Lions.

the pair of   Arrows  reach the  Den of Lions... they see the firbog, there aren't too many peple inside. The   keeper  doewn't seem to be in a hurry to have them leave.

Lysander will go up to his room.  The evenings happenings can wait for the morning, but at breakfast, he will relate the story.

  The  Morning  came as bits  of  lighterd  sky tried to beat back the  darkness... a soft knock on Kree's door, followed  by a Whisper.....Mornfest will be ready  to serve in  a quarter turn of the glass...

 the  soft footfalls of  moccasined feet .  went down the  hall tapping on the Arrow's  doors.

Kree looked at the  Glass, a spring was set to spni the   glass, when the hour  was   done, there was  1/4 of  a the last hour's sand  left...

 He did not move just yet, Letting Riven rest, the  warmth under the blankets and cloak, made him frown at the thought of getting up.

 Ivyain  replied...Aye, Tahnk  you...make sure Caffee  is  to be had... he sat  up, checking his  ribs and sides, the bruises  were  just a memory now.....Damn Orges....

 Elandra woke at dawn and did her morning prayers to Amot. Only a few minutes after Elandra was done with her prayers is when the knock came. Elandra responded," Thank you, may Peace be with you always."

 Elandra finished getting dressed and got all her gear ready and on and headed own to morning fest, bright eyed and very happy.

Lysander dragged himself down the stairs.  He wanted a bit more sleep, but he also wanted to share the news from the last evening.

Farora jolted awake even there was no noise to be heard loud enough to do that. Instantly regretting having drifted off against the wall as she began to massage a crick in her neck, getting to her feet slowly so as not to bash her head on anything.

 Elandra smiled at everyone when she came down, she was in a good mood on a good morning. Elandra saw Farora wake up abruptly, Elandra said a prayer for Farora to Amot. Elandra also saw a still tired Lysander and he seemed too be wanting to talk about something Elandra got that feeling by his demeaner and tiredness.

 Elandra went to Farora and she says," I can help with those sore muscles, and I dont think that was the best position too sleep in my friend. May Peace always be with you."

Krwyn had, just like Lysander, a disturbed rest this night. AFter their visit to the inn with the ship's crew, he kept thinking about slavers' and pressgangs. One of the things the Arrows were very clear about: no way this ship could sail, if they could prevent it.

''Uhh...thanks, that'd be much appreciated from ya,'' Farora replied to Elandra's offer, sitting back down so the woman could get at her neck. ''Morn'n,'' she raised a hand limply to Lysander before letting it go slack on the table.

 Elandra smiled and took a position behind Farora and began too massage out the bad kinks in Farora's neck and shoulders. Elandra is very good and her knowledge of medicine and healing helps her too make Farora feel much better.

 Elandra then smiled at everyone," Good morning everyone what a glorious day, may Peace always be with all of you."

''Thank ya,'' Farora smiled, digging into one of her pouches and dropping a small bone bead in Elandra's hand, it had no design on it but was perfectly smooth and a bit rounded, very beautiful in a simplistic way.

 Elandra smiled looked at the beautiful bone bead, she took it with a smile and replied," Thank you very much Farora, but you dont have too I help others because it is the right thing too do. " Elandra then looked to where breakfast was being served.

Tyri smiled softly as she rolled onto her side, watching him. Reaching out, she lightly ran her fingers along his side,admiring him. "That fight was...not pleasant."

"Must we get up?" She muttered after a few seconds, snuggling close, enjoying the warmth and the feel of Kree in the bed with her. For the first time in awhile, she had slept well, any nightmares having stopped when she had cuddled up to him. Maybe it was that sense of safety...or just that need for human contact...either way, she wasn't going to complain.

  Kree  smiles   as he   sets the fire to burn more, to warm up wash water,Aye, we have a ways to go,every day  we  travel is  another  day , they get to fortify  that  harbor, or base, or whatever it is , in the Yad Gorge

 he waits by the fire  for the water to warm up.

 Ivy snorts...Aye,  you could say that, , I almost wore  my Ribs on the outside....

  we need to wash about, and get Caffee and  some hot  food...

 The owner looked  troubled  as  he  went about , setting the table, with his   waitresses   brining   a pot of  hot oatmeal, as well as  wheatcakes with  Honey and Homemade butter

 Elandra smiled and moved towards the owner, she then said," Good morn to you Sir, may Peace be with you. You look troubled may I help out in anyway?"

 The owner looked at Elandra,..theres a ships Master in town. lookin' fer crew  for  his ship...must be   docked at the  ferry.. Sro sent out a  server girl to warn folks, but i think his  press gang got a few people

 Elandra looked very upset and replied to the owner, " That will not be tolerated, no one should take another ones Peace, I will speak with Captain Kree we will most likely take care of this ship if we can good sir." Elandra looked upset and helped serve morning fast but this news upset her and she was going to make sure they did something about it when Kree came down.

"I know...I was there riding the ogre if you recall," she chuckled and kissed his cheek. "I am quite hungry after our...fun," she said with a demure grin. Climbing out of bed, Tyri stretched and got her clothing ready before washing up.

She rolled onto her side, watching him. "I know...I know...there is work to be done." There was a soft sigh as she raked her fingers through her short, shaggy hair. "Thanks for the snuggling last night," she murmured, slightly blushing.

  Kree  poured  some  hot  water into a Basin and  motioned for her to use it, he used  what was left in the Bucket to wash up.

  It was  a bit  comfotable we won't know how many of the other furman's chain towns we well stop in but this  was  a bit  quiet..

 Once he  washed up, he  dumped the  water out the  window, dressed  and   put on his  cloak, though he carried his pack, bow   and quiver..

 That Caffee  smells good... i home the food  matches it...

 Ivy  gave her a bit of a  squeeze as he  tucked his   shirt in, and began to  gear up.It is  almost, unnatural to have this  quiet of a night....

 His cloak  on to help warm himself, he gathered his pack bow  and  quiver, as he waited  for Tyri.

She dressed quickly followed by braiding her long honey colored hair. "You think so? Something's up?" she asked as she finished. If there was one thing she learned through her travels with the Arrows, it was to trust in Ivy and Kree.

"I won't lie...it was nice to sleep like that," she said and climbed out of bed. Riven stretched her well toned body before washing up. When she finished that, she began to dress though Kree would note that she didn't bind back up her chest. She did have a spend a few moments to adjust the chest piece of her leathers but it wasn't anything too bad. "Ready?"

 Kree took  a  Last look  at the room, checked his blades, then nodded to Riven,..Let us  get down to the table...i want to get  food and drink, and see how  the Firbog was treated..

 walking out  with the key,  they  moved down the   hall to the stairs ..Ivy had  Just opened the door  to  thier room as well..

 the   4 comign  down the stairs  with Kree's eyes  shifting over the people   gathered at the table  to see if  any were missing.

"Good morning, all.  Krwyn and I had an interesting evening.  We found a tavern suffering the visitations of a press gang for what we presume is a slaver ship.  We know they plan on returning this evening, as they are still short on crew.  We could have taken the 3 out, but thought it might be better if all of us followed them to their ship and remove the whole of the leadership."

  Kree heard Lysander  as he  took a  seat on the 'wall side' of the table.Pressgang?  Slaver ship?...  too damn far to  take a collection of commandeered  people , Unless  they are  right at the ferry

 he  poured  a caffee from a very hot pot,  adding sugar and  milk..sipping on it with closed  eyes like it was the best of all elven wines...

 a  server girl  placed a  bowl of oatmeal in front of him, , he smiled  and  added honey to it, mixing it about.

 Ivt took a seet facing  Cree  with his back to the rest of the room.

Tyri quirked a brow at Kree when she noted him and Riven coming down the hall together before following after Ivy, clearly in good spirits. "Good morrrow, everyone," she smiled, taking a seat besides Ivy.

Riven followed along beside Kree, not batting an eye at the look Tyri gave them and just kept going. Once downstairs, Kree could see her subtly tense, going back into that high alert state that she normally was in. She got herself a cup of black caffee and took a seat in an unoccupied chair at the table.

   as kree  ate, he seemed in no hurry, but  he was thinking. As he   sipped his hot  drink, he looked at  Lysander and Krwyn...do you know where these people are staying?

"We didn't follow them.  There was a young maiden who needed to be protected and I chose to ensure she was safe."

  Kree listened to Lysander, giving a nod...and the choice  was good, whether   we  can stop the press gang, or  nay, the  woman needed  protection.

  ..My Father once told me, you cannot save everyone....

 Ivy laughed,, when  was the last  time you listened to your  father, or....the last time he lead a unit of  Arrows/

 a  smile  grew on  Kree's  face..Indeed.... so?  we will   travel  down the road to the Ferry...depedning on the  size of the ship, it will either be  moored there, or have Long boats  to take the   'sailors' to their  new home at the  mouth of the river....if  we  find  it, or them, we will act accordingly.

  Any of you ever  see a ship burn?... It is   very interesting to see the serpents  close in on the  heat and light the  burning causes,  very few people  survive, swimming away from a burning ship.

 Ivy asks,Can we not  take the ship?..... put a crew on, have it sailed to  Ironmound  for price  money for the Company....

 That will depend, we   do not  have  many days to waste.....the loss of that ship will  help clear the Alt  River  of  anyone  grabbing  fisher folk and  merchants.

Riven raised a brow as she looked at Kree when he asked his question. She slightly shook her head before taking a sip of caffee. "I have seen many things...but I can't say that that is one of them." She took a wheatcake and dressed it with some of the homemade butter, preferring the more savory.

  Kree   finished  eating, he enjoyed  another   caffee,  the server came over to remove his  Bowls,Two fresh loafs of  bread, wrapped in a clean bar towel , one  for me and one for my cousin...You might ask the others if they wish any...as well...i also  want an unopen bottle of elven harvest wine.

 ..of  course, Captain..... she looked at the others  to see if there   is  any other orders..

  Ivy was   taking a  spoonful of oatmeal as he checked the   arrow heads of his quiver.

 a  rather   dirty fellow  came in, and moved towards   the  Arrows, the  Keeper was ready to stop him, Kree motioned for him to sit, and waved his  arm at the food... the  man looked  unbelieving at Kree, kree smiled, he   grabbed   bread  and a  bowl loading it up  with oatmeal, Kree nudged the honey to him, and he   poured  a generous amount  on the  oatmeal... he  went to speak  Kree  shook his head...

 eat first....half a turn of the glass, is not going to save any hargenite's  life...

 Ivy  filled a bug with hot Caffee   and   placed it in front of the Man, the fellow, clearly  excited, happy  and confused...

 Elandra ate and watched the others she finished her oatmeal with a lot of honey in it. " I just hope we can rescue any one taken against their will and return their Peace. " When Kree asks for the bread, Elandra replied," I will also take a loaf of bread wrapped as well good Sir and a bottle of unopened fruity wine would be nice as well. May Peace be with you good Sir. "

 Elandra looks at the man who enters and sits, it seems like Kree might know him. She smiled at the man and added," May Peace be with sir, enjoy your meal."

as the  fellow slowed  dow his  eating  and drinking. Kree  nodded to him,continue  with your   food?.. But  tell me what you have  found

 The  fellow   refilled the oatmeal  and   dripped  more  hiney, while buttering a   fresh slice of  thick bread.

First of  Capt'n, i was  a fear ta come here,  they say  you are a  hard'n and  kill people at the drop of  a hat...

 Kree sipped his  caffee as he leaned  back,..They.... are   correct... i do not  have   foes , to build  tales the bards will tell... I kill them, so they are no longer to be  my foes...from the lowest  thug, to the hightest noble..

 The  fellow stopped chewing a bit, looking to see if   Kree  was   jesting..when he  felt  that he wasn't, he  chewed slower  as he saidOne of the Guild folk  found  sumpin.. says  ye'd  pay good coin fer information. but he  couldn't leave cause he hadda  keep watch he goggled some more, the took his own drink.</Gray>

 Kree made a  rolling  motion with his free hand

 well..there's  this  camp.. a small one.. about   10 miles  along the road to the  Ferry  to Thur?... they has  some  folks there.. in chains... not surewhat, cause their is  some sailor  types  there?.... anyway.. he thought  you'd like  take know... This is the  2nd  night they brought  folks in.. they sent  some this mornin' along the road.... the guild fella  things  they'll send   this baych out   tomorow morning.. he thiks they'll be there one more  day..

"Well now...that sounds very promising, eh?" she said with a wry smirk, glancing at Kree. Though the last few days seemed like a constant battle, last night had helped her recharge, so she was itching for a fight.

Tyri looked to Ivy. "They are selling slaves?" she asked, making sure she understood what the man had said. There was a frown on her pretty face even though it looked more like a pout if anything.

 The fellow  and slowed  down a bit more, now eating lie a normal person as he looked at Tyri...They could be  slavers, well enough, but they could be  press gang victims...

 Kree snorted,They are both a form of slavery?... Ironmound  forces  prisoners to make a choice, serve in the navy, or the  ship building...go to the Arena , or  swim across the   Strom river  from the  Navy Docks  to the Plank..But? those  are prisoners ,slavers,,,, bandits..enemy troops...

 The  man added...murderers ..

  ..no.. Murderers and rapists get dangled from teh bridges, for serpents  to leap up and nibble...

 Ivy   smiles,so..we get to walk the road  for a bit....

 At Least, until we reach the Camp...our  new friend is going to show us the way....

 The fellow looked at  Kree...lookit here... I'm no fighter an'....

  Kree stood up and Motioned for the loaves  of bread, and  began to  set buckle oon his weapons  belt.

 Ivy  taking the   cue, shoveled the last bit of oatmeal in his   mouth and downed his caffee, and began to  get ready as well..

The  fellow  finished   his  food, and looked at Kree..his  eyes darted  around.

 Good fellow? Think not that you will run...you will never make it  10 yards....if you run in the wild,  we  will hunt you down...

a  younger  man came up from the 'guild  cellar'  he handed the man a leather jerkin and a shortsword.

Lysander prepared to leave with Kree.

Farora savoured her caffee until Kree began to leave, downing the last of it happily as she had not had any since being driven away from home.

 Elandra helped clean up and then she got ready as well. Elandra replied," Yes we must restore their Peace, and make those who took it pay dearly." Elandra then got her bread and wine as well.

 Elandra was ready to save these people and punish the ones who took their Peace.

Tyri finished up her caffee and the roll before standing up and grabbing her gear. Pausing as she slipped on her backpack, Tyri leaned over and gave Ivy a kiss on the cheek, a look of affection on her fair features.

Riven watched the newcomer with a slightly narrowed gaze, clearly not fully trusting him or his intentions and fully expecting an ambush. With Kree standing, signalling that it was time to go, she stood, making a few minor adjustments to her own gear before donning it.

Krwyn eats his breakfast with a healthy appetite, while listening to the man and his story. When ready, he dons his weapons andother gear and stands ready to leave.

  leaving the tavern, the    grungy man walking with them, a very old leather   chest plate and a  short  sword  , with the  belt  across his shoulder.. he looked miserable.

 ..be more  happy,  Good Man?.. If you are not  lying, you will have a lot of coin in your pocket... if you are lying, well? You will never need coin again...

 Ivy  chuckled  darkly  as they walked through the  gate , on the  road to Thur and the ferry.

  I ye  don't  trust  me, why bring me along.....

 Kree  smiled  as his  eyes  searched the trees, looking or oddities in the branches or   laves...now  you see, Good fellow?... this is where short sighted folks fail?... If you are indeed, someone who was hired, or forced, to  send us to our Deaths, then we take you with us, so you cannot be used  against others... if you tell the truth, then you will be a hero of sorts, and your standing in town should  rise.... if you try to run, whether out of guilt, or fear?.. you will not  make it more then a few yards into the greenwood.

 this did not seem to make the fellow any happier.

 Elandra smiled and followed behind the man and said way to happily," You follow your inner Peace you will be safe, find your Peace and you will be fine, if you steal others Peace then I will be Amot's wrath against you." Elandra just smiled and the last like it was a known fact.

  They went Up the  road, Kree  waved to the  fellow...Come up here with me , Good Man... let   them see you coing... let them know, that you are the   one who brought the  Arrows   to  the Ferry..

 Ivy gave the Fellow a firm  shove  forward.

 a  slight  rise on the   semi- paved  road..rocks   and gravel strewn about, but puddles  and   some   mud  areas were still there to  trouble heavy carts... masts sould be  seen as the   group  walked up the rise.

Tyri walked along, looking around but staying close to Ivy and Kree since they seemed to know what was happening. She got the jist that there might be an ambush/trap waiting for them but the cousins had a better eye for when things were not what they appeared to be.

Riven took up her usual position at the rear of the group, keeping a look out and trusting in the dagger hidden up in her bracer and the other strapped to her thigh.

Farora kept in rear and close to Lysander, apparently comfortable with him, her eyes alternating between scanning for threats and flicking at the sights to sate her curiosity. Boll may not be the largest city but it was still interesting to Farora.

    as they crested the  small rise,  it went  down to a slightly deeper  low... the  incline wasn't too steep , except, for   , maybe the   winter... think timbers    set like  steps  here  10 yards  up hill would  Give  carts  and  wagons a  place to rest, before  pushing up the next... the trees  covered the lowland  for a goo hundred  yards , before  a  wider  road  Opened to    the ferry area.., it was a good  2 miles away, there were   2 ships  and some  smaller sail ships and  Fishermans   rowboats...  Flags were up  to stop any  river  traffic  as the Ferry  was  pulling it as  way  across the  water  to Thur...

 Ivy  looked at the lowland  with the   'tunnel like' trees...It has to be there?  right?.... cannot be on the other side, too many troopers from The   Road Patrols?.... we would have already saw them, on this side...

 Aye. Stay calm, look around if you will. They would  expect that, do not  draw weapons unti we   enter the tree Cover

The   Man was sweating  , his eyes  wide as he looked around.  barely   holding onto the hilt of the shortsword.....this..this blade? its  rusty, will it  even work?

  I'm sure it will more, unless you meet someone with plate or chain?

 Ivy chuckled,here is a type.. when you  have to fight.. you stick the pointy  end in...then Twist as you pull it out...The Damage and pain will be greater, and//maybe even kill the person you fight.

  The  man looked miserable...

Lysander moves out to the left flank, using the woods as cover.

Farora took note of Lysander's actions and slunk to the opposite side of the road.

Seeing others ready their weapons, Lysander is wise enough to realize there is action coming.  He holds his main weapon in his left hand, and a throwing axe in his right.

 Elandra followed along using her staff as a walking stick, with her Goddess's spells at the ready, she praised Amot as she got ready for a battle.

entering the tree  tunnel, kree says...This is  were i would kill folks , cannot se  why others  would not   thing  the  same..

 Ivy  whispers,I am worried  about  shafts from those  boughs  above?.... Only a fool would just meet us....


 In front of them, halfway through the 'tunnel' stood the Fancy  Captain , his  two  big  officers and  4  people with Bludgeons  behind him, a  slight noise  as 4 more men. armed the same way came from behind them.

 Your group  will  fill out  my ship, quite nicely..we will make  coin, your  people and I..and as we  sail up the storm and them Up The  Widow.. we will allow you to leave when we reach the  new   docks  being but there...Of  course..your women?.. they may not want to leave...

 and?  you must know  we will not  joint you... how do you plan on taking us?

 My people have clubbed many a person  into  submission, armed as you?  we have no fear...

 Kree Nodded , looking at his  boots, scuffing the ground a bit, there was chuckling  from the men with clubs...
he reaches into his jerkin fished  around  for something   and Tossed it to the   Dandy...

 There are  2  things you have over looked?  The first?  we do not care if we kill you all..in fact5, I for one, will enjoy it.... the 2nd thing he pointed at the object the hargenite looked at...we are  Crimson Arrows...you.....are not.

  The Captain looked a bit  no plussed  as he   whistled  through his teeth..  4  more  men  cam running  down the  tunnel, these  were armed   with blades and shields.

 What does that tell you, of  our chances...

 That you do not have  enough  people....  He and  Ivy   reached    for and arrow  and nocked them. Pulling   back the shafts  as kree said...Run now.. you might   live a few moments longer...

 The Captain   threw the   arrow  pin back at  kree and  Yelled.. KILL THEM ALL

 Kree smiled.... Ivy  said  loudly....What he said!

 the  troops from the front  and back charged, save the Captain who stepped  back to have his crew charge in..

Lysander will attempt to stay to the left as he makes his way through the trees, making for a position flanking the captain, or until he meets resistance.  His weapons are at the ready.

Farora keeps to cover as much as possible, going for any people on the outer edges to kill quickly.

As Krwyn hangs a bit back, it is up to him to fight the men coming from the back. He brings up his bow and sends one of his infamous Flaming Arrows in the first one that comes his way.

 Elandra sees everyone move into position for the bad guys. Elandra smiles, and says," You have not faced the power of Amot, and you have taken others Peace." Elandra channels as much power from Amot as she can and uses four spell slots to attack the first 4 bad guys coming from behind to bottle them in. Each one will get a Guiding Bolt launched at them from Elandra's hand.

Riven’s eyes narrowed as she shifted into a defensive position. When the men got close enough, she sent out two of her daggers at two different assailants.

When she had noticed the others getting into position, she did much the same though staying close to Ivy. She drew her bow and nocked an arrow, waiting for one of the men to get a bit closer before letting the arrow fly.

 Elandra turns to the  4  men at the rear, she  calls  upon Amot, sending   Bolts into  each of the  attackers  at the rear, all four  are staggered..so Did  Elandra.

 Krwyn's  arrow  slams into  the  far  north ,with the flames   gathering on his jerkin.

   Riven  threw  daggers  at  two of the  front  4  charging at Kree who seemed to not care about attackers   as he drew his bow

 Tyri  waited a a breath to get a Better  Target.

 IVy was more off  to   the  north  side, He  too had  his first arrow  drawn.

 Lysander   went down the  North side,  Faroa was going  down the   south side.

 Kree's  two shots   slammed  into the  2nd from the north  henchman, the arrows  buried themselves to the fletchings.. and fellow  fell, stunned..most likely didn't even know he was dead.

 Ivy's arrows   flew, he hit the  south-middle  fellow once in the Chest..once in the  thigh...Ivy was curing his luck, but the man would be out of the fight.

Lysander knew that, if he paid attention to the immediate fight, his attention would waver and he would not be able to focus on moving silently through the brush.  The Arrows had proven themselves in battle on many occasions, and against more difficult foes than this, but he had a chance to remove the ship's captain from the field whilst he was unguarded, and this was too good to miss out on.  He moved as quickly as he could while maintaining his quietness.

With an unseen frown, Riven drew her shortsword and quickly made her way to where Kree was, slashing out at one of the men who got too close.

Farora made sure that Ivy's target was finished then went for the guy nearest to her with both daggers.

Krwyn attacks the next close attacker with his bow; if the man is too close, he switches to his longsword.

 Elandra let her bolts go then after the last fired she got dizzy, and fell to knees. She could still fight though. She would look too see how how the four attacking from behind are doing.

As soon as Lysander gets within 30 feet of the captain, he will throw his handaxe.

as soon as the Kid  heard  the men speak...he ran  up the road to the ferry.. His   scruffy dog  following him, the  troops paid the Kid no mind as he ran to the ferry   yellin...

 //get me across!..Foul Deed is being done!

 the two men  workign the   ferry its self began to  pull , even before the  Kid  reached  him, the two men  at this  in, hauled on the   rope to raise it  from the  bottom of the water, while two more  on the other end, did the same.. the  Kid sp[lashed into the   Knee deep water,, Tossing  his  dog on the raft, then hoped up  before any serpents tried to brave the  splashes, to see if  food was there.

   Lysander was almost even with the Captain of the  Hargenites..but the  Halfelf was slowly backpeddling as he watched the    fight unfold..his thoughts of a large Boiunty were starting to look....unsteady.

 Faroa ended Ivy's target, she  could see  the  other man in the first  row, slow up when he saw the large female.

 Krwyn, perhaps, because of The Sisters.. found the throat of the fellow he aimed  for..perhaps a one in twenty chance..the Impact of the arrow and the Flames cause the   Man to fall and  claw at his throat...he could only make wet gurgle sounds  as  he struggled on the  ground

 That left two of the  court on the  south side of the Tunnel passage, as  Elnadra saw them stare at her.

 Riben first dagger impacted  the  target she  had  chosen, but  the other   bounced o off his choulder  as he turned

 Tryi sent  an arrow  into a fellow, it dropped slightly, impacted on the man's left Thigh..he was slowed and angry.

 The second  for  coming from the front, the two middle people, both females, brought up Bows...

 IVY!!!

 I See Them!

 the Cousins  fired.. both shafts from both elves hit the mark and brought it down..sadly.. they Both hit the same target...

 kree looked at Ivy...Do not look at me!..I always take the one on the left...

  The answering  arrow  was loosed  by the survivor

Lysander, seeing the resolve, and focus of the captain waver, moves towards him, loosing his hand axe, hoping to incapacitate him and preparing to cut him in two with his battle axe.

 Elandra got her bearings and will use 2 spell slots to hit each of the 2 bad guys still up behind them. She said prayers to Amot as she cast her two guiding bolts.

Lysander's hand axe slams into the right shoulder of the captain, hitting him hard enough to knock him to the ground.  Lysander isn't far behind, removing him from this life with a swing of his battle axe.

He considered taking him prisoner, but the Arrows already knew that he was a slaver, he didn't deserve to live and Lysander was peeved at life enough to not care for an interrogation at the moment.

 Kree and  Ivy  standing  and Firing, almost inviting arrows... One  zips , 'just  past   Ivy  and Krywn.. hitting Into  a tree on the  North side of the tunnel.

   Kree takes   A  Hit  in the left Shoulder, that causes hims  to send  an arrow   off into the trees on the south side, ,  But he straightens, Glaring at the  woman archer.

  The two cousins , loose  arrows.. Ivy's Hit  a fellow from the Back  rank, who stops  and  stagers...DAMN YOUR EYES...GET OUT OF THE WAY!


 Kree's arrow   Hits the   lady archer in the  right Tigh as he shakes his  head at the effect the arrow in his shoudler had on his targeting.


 The Captain Looks  up  , he  is stunned, almost sobbing from the axe in his shoulder. he recognizes   Lysander as he says.. NO!..WAIT...YOU CAN RANSOM ME!!!

 Elandra's  Bots  Slam into   the last two   'rear' attackers.. One drops to the Ground.. the other  staggers, and begins to try to run away....

 Farora.   closes  In on the  southern Most  man  in the second wave, the larger  Humanoid  Causes the man to scream  as she  tries to fend off her attacks..but he   dies  amid the  slashing or two daggers.

 Krywn sees   one rear attacker  trying to stumble away.there are  4 troops left to the  'thur' side of the tunnel...all are wounded,,Including the Lady archer who looks as angry at Kree, as he is of her.

 Riven and Tyri we'ren't targeted by arrows. they can see  the  targets who now seem more concerned that a Dwarf has thier Captain Down, and a Large  persoon just killed one of thier mates.

Lysander, swinging his battle axe, turns it slightly, deciding to just knock the captain out.  He isn't enticed by the thought of ransom, but of information.  For now, he will let him live, but he will ask Kree for the final blow later.

 Elandra nods to Krywn take the running man from the back group. Elandra will turn towards the hurt female archer and her group and try and hit her with a single guiding bolt. She will then see who is closest to attack.

Tyri nocked an arrow and let her arrow fly at the nearest attacker.

Since her shortsword was out, Riven moved to attack the closest enemy that threatened herself or Kree.

Farora didn't seem to be too fussy on who's throat she was trying to slice, just any enemy that happened to be close.

  Krwyn    marks the Last rear  Merc.

 The Captain  Lay quiet, his head   and shoulder bleeding...Lysander cannot see any other  enemies. besides the dwindling  group here.

  The  female  Archer   caught  a Bolt  from Elandra  and an Arrow   from Ivy

 kree's  arrow   struck the next fellow , even as  Riven Bladed him

 Farora  Cut  down the Last one    as Kree  said.. search the Bodies  for  coin and  such..if you see a Merc Company patch, cut it off.. .

 He stopped  by  the nearest  body one of his arrows  went into, cut a  plug of flesh from around the shaft and  pulled the arrow  out,  flicking off the  meat.. he would repeat that a few times.

 once that task was  finished, He  cut the  rune of the Crimson Arrows into the foreheads of half the Bodies... drag the Bodies  to the side,  put the bodies that i  cut the runes in on top....

 Then he walked to  Lysanders and his prize.

 Elandra will check the bodies of the three that where down behind them, she will look for patches as well. Elandra will gather what she can and then follow the others.

"Boss, I thought it might be useful to let him live, for now, but I want the final cut, if, you will allow it. I have already searched him and his weapons are over there.  Nothing but a bit of coin on him."

Farora inspected her two kills, finding two gold and two silver on each of them, taking time to pull out some of their teeth while humming a merry tune lowly.

  Kree looks at the Fellow, he crouches  down  , takes the captain's  water  and slashes  it on the Half Elf..

  There is a big smile.well,now that we might talk face to face.... Tell me what the 9 hells  are you doing on outside of the mountain.

 Groggy he  says,we...we. are allowed  to go where we wish..We are Mercs..like you...

 Not  like us.... when i go over the mountain, there were be  bodies  strew along my path.why are you taking slaves....

 It sailed up the storm, then crew left it in my hands...

Lysander grins at the captain.  "I don't think you will mind if I keep what I found in your pocket, eh?"

  Ivy? You and  Tyri  range ahead... I will walk without new friend and Lysander...

With a nod, Tyri looked to Ivy before heading out, keeping her bow out and an arrow nocked. Icy orbs looked around as they moved, trying to make sure there were no enemies about.

 Elandra was all set she nodded and followed Kree, saying a prayer to Amot as she walked.

Krwyn took his money, readied his bow again and followed the Captain and the captain in the direction of the ship. To Elandra he says: "We do so many ships recently, we should have joined the navy in stead of walking the hills."

  The group  was nearing the   entrance to the   tree  covered 'tunnel.. they  could hear the  Ferry horn blow

  what kind  of ship do you have?.. I'm sure   the Ironmound  navy could  find use  for it?

  go to the 9 hells  Timber Snake...

 Ivy laughed at that.....That is a new sname?  we havce so many!

Lysander whacks the captain in the back with the side of a hand axe.  "You will answer us properly, or I will quickly remove your ability to answer."

 Elanmdra walked behind the Captain and she added," You have taken others Peace now yours will be taken. Peace is special and if you mess with others Peace then yours will be messed with Captain." Elandra will follow saying prayers to Amot.

Farora stuck to the back of the group, watching the shoreline intensely but if anyone had looked they would not be able to tell what she was thinking.

  Ivy and Tyri exit the  tunnel, , they see the   ferry getting pulled across  the  river.. Two masted  ships are at the shorline  docks... one looks like a merchant, they other  seems to be  armed with arbalists mounted at various points.

 Kree chuckles,so?... how many more  people on your ship?....

The   fellow's  wounds  were hurting  and his legs were weak as the marched.....I am not  answering you, Book licker of the Empire...

 Ivy  calls  back,you do not know us very well....

Lysander starts scraping the hand axe down exposed flesh.  "You might want to answer the man."

  The Captain howls if you kill me , you will not  know any answers...

  ... I am sure we will find log books and papers, and such when  we take that ship. The biggest thing  you fail to understand,  I do not care  if you take  the secret to the grave? I will not lose   anything , That i have, . You however  will suffer    for it..one way or the other..

 Elandra smiled and added," Despicable Captain I could always heal you and we can start again and keep it up until I run out of spell power?" Elandra kept walking with a smile on her face.

"Not every wound is intended to kill, but I know some, should my captain allow it, that would make you wish you were dead."  The head of the axe drops to a position right beside his manhood.

  The  enemy Captain   winces  at the thought...

   Kree   whistles  Loud  and Hold his hand up for the ferry, to make sure it  would wait  affer it  disgorges   its   passenger.

"Now, you can answer the questions, or I can start doing a bit of carving... there are so many nerve endings in the area that you will wish you had never been born, and scream for a quick end.  Your choice, but it is a bit messy once I start."

  The wounded Captain looks  at the Dwarf, his chest his heaving in pain, and perhaps fear, with a touch of  frustration and anger.

  Ivy Jogs the last few  yards to the Men who are cranking the   wheel on this   side, what is the fare, to cross by your ferry...

 then  men are  grunting,, one says through gritted teeth...,,kids  an' small animals? a cooper yeach, Horses    5  coopers,  adults of  any kind  5 coopers, wagons  an' carts 1 or two silvers, depending on the load

 Ivy  stand  and watches  the   barege, as he sees the   child  and his  dog in fronts  with two other adults.

"You know, I learned this method from an assassin.  He said he was able to keep one fella alive for 2 weeks, but had him in such pain that he eventually became incoherent.  He didn't have one thing I do have, a nearby healer."

Lysander finds some trees outside of the sight of the ferry standing about 4 feet apart and ties the captain between them.  He then starts working on a dagger with his stone.  "Gotta be really sharp for this, elsewise, it might kill you.  Are you sure you don't want to talk?"

  Kree  watched the wounded  captain  struggling,,,,Not Just yet.... bring hinm along, to Ironmound's  new ship, that Hargen is  about to gift it.

 The    Ferry  bumps into the posts that are set to geep it from beaching...

 if you folks are  payin' you can cross with is... otherwise, you'll haveot get a fisherman to boat you over.

Lysander follows orders, unties him from the tree and trusses him up and leads him towards the ferry.  "Fun will happen, eventually."

Zorin walks to the front of the ferry, white and blue short robes still bloody and bearing cuts that he'd since healed magically. His whip hanging loosely in one hand. He reached the other hand up to scratch around his eye patch, then to his head to scratch through his long brown hair. He looked at the band on the shore with his one blue eye. Watchadoin with that fella?

 Elandra looked at the passengers on the ferry., she smiled and then said," Good day to you may Peace be with you always." Elandra then moved back to let Kree take charge of meeting the new group, then Elandra added," Captain what are we doing with this taker of people's Peace?"

Hearing the Crimsons were heading to claim a Hargan Ship for the Navy brought a wrinkle to Miranda's brow. Cousins Kree and Ivy, have you considered how a Hargan Merc Ship managed to sail to Thor, from either up River or down River.
