Re: Furman's Chain.

for the first few hours, people come and Go at the Inn. sometimes a single man or woman would come in, sitting across the room for a bit, then get up and go..most times, pairs  of groups would come in.

One fellow ( a bit drunk)..thought it was a good idea to approach the Princess and her LAdies. He looked at Luthien,  but  proceeded to try to pick up one of the ladies.

Kree was ladling  stew into his Mouth, and sat back as he washed  some  down with the wine.

He looked at the fellow and said, calmly, if coldly,...you have 15 seconds to leave this Inn. If you are not gone, By shiny friend there, will remove you.....if you  decide to stay..or  foolishly come back...the  town watch, will come , and remove your  Body....

The Man  stood a bit  Taller and Looked down  his Nose at Kree,..Listen...Pointey ears...

across the room Ivy could be heard to say,...not a good thing....

He nods at her in agreement and pauses a moment clearly considering her words.

He smiles back at her, but he also can't quite stop looking about the room, still clearly not at ease with everything, but being in the company of a kindred spirit does relax him a little.

Jenna is about to say more to Lafisual, but then notices Kree having words with a man near the bar.  She nudges Lafisual and nods in the direction of the impending confrontation.

Jenna's hand drifts to the hilt of her dagger under the table, ready to strike at anyone who tries to come to the man's aid should Kree make a move.

Lucy chuckled.

"Reprobate, eh?" She said with a chuckle.

"Sure, why not." She saw no reason not.

"Let's go say a prayer.  After that, I've got an eye for that bar we passed when we first passed.  Supposedly a rough place." She said with a  wide grin.

Excellent Myranda beamed as she lead the Elfmaids eagerly towards the Temple. Once inside she glanced around looking for a Priest as well as shrines dedicated to the Sisters. She spots one to Eta and points in its direction There's one she declares grinning at Lucy and Brie

The more 'mouthy' of the  Princess's  ladies looks at Kree, then to Luthien, then at the fellow who seems to be interested in Company...she turns to Kree , her voice a bit cold, who are you...to say whom i might  spend time with.

The Princess looks to Kree with  pleading eyes,They have been through alot, Captain Quickshadow...can you not, let them enjoy themselves?

The fellow Grins, as two of his Buddies stand...as they begin to eye the   ladies.

Kree's eyes  move, he makes to motion himself, but one  used to watching the elf  work, may understand that snakes  are still before they strike,First off....I am the fellow, along  with  my companions, that are tasked with  brining you back....

To the Princess he says,I am willing to  allow the Ladies to go off on thier own...you were the one we are to bring back...the others..are  here because of you....

To the Fellow he says,...the sands  are almost out on your glass, My friend.... he turns his head slightly to Luthien,...You may escort him out of the Inn.....

Ohhhhh no... we're  customers here , Just like you...if we want to talk to the LAdies..we're gonna  talk to them... The Taller of  the  other guys  Buddy says  as they come closer, It is not lost on Kree that their hands  rest on their weapons.

Ivy speaks  up from the bar,...Look...you men?...This   is not a wise  path yo take...

the shorter one turns to Ivy,..shut the 9 hells  up..if i need suggestions  from an Elf...I'll ask ya...

Ivy Raises his glass to the  man,Id you live through the Night...remember...i warned you...

Luthien, still a bouncer...

"I must follow orders. Part of the nature of a warrior of light."

And escorts the man out of the inn. Seeing as he's wearing shining full plate, it probably isn't going to play in the other man's favor if he starts something.

He gets up and quietly heads over to support Kree as discretely as possible, mainly watching his left per Jenna's suggestion.  His hand is on his sword handle.

Justin glances towards the Princess and grimaces at her comment the subsequent exchange doesn't brood well either. Moving towards the three townsmen. Come now Fellows, surly Thee would nay seek to further disturb such atmosphere ast be within this fine establishment. Perhaps a stout ale wouldst suffice to moot such discord.

Re: Furman's Chain.

Jenna moves to the right and comes up behind one of the friends calmly and quietly, not saying a word.  She positions herself near his back, her hand resting on her dagger hilt, waiting for the slightest aggression toward any of the Arrows or ladies.

When the man's hand drops to his weapon, Jenna growls, I wouldn't...

Re: Furman's Chain.

The Fellow who is nearest Jenna, Looks at her and scowls, but  his  eyes  see the arrow  pin and his hand moves, slightly, away from his  sword Hilt.

The Fellow near Lafisual, looks  at5 him and quickly looks around the Room,

The First fellow is  Being 'escorted' By Luthian, as Justin is Just a few steps in front of them by the  swinging doors.

The Man Calls  back,Tough guy!..all your  Helpers about...what  would you do  if they weren't here!

Kree stands , slowly, ahhh?  Single Combat? You wish to Duel..out in the streets like some of the folks do up here? We can do that if you wish..you will die...but at least that would shut you the 9 hells up...

The Man Looks at Luthian, then the Justin's Backwhat about your friends?

Kree shrugs,if the fight is  fair,  and you will, you will live, however the slightest hint of cheating, you and any others helping you would not live out the next hour.

Kree seems  to be relaxed as he tilts his head,...so?..do you wish to try me , or Nay?

Ivy leans against bar , looking at the fellow Jenna is close to..I would tell you what your answer should be....But..your friend her  does not like the opinions of longears...

Justin in front of Justin, a small woman slips out the  door in a hurry, he catches the sight of chainmail, under her  cloak as he  goes through the swinging doors.

Brie looks between Lucy and Myranda and shakes her head.  You certainly have me questioning a lot of things, she said softly.  Then again, I always have questions.

She shrugs and continues in the way where Myranda points for them to pray.

The Fellow  being escorted looks at  Luthien likes he's crazy,...do i long  like some  courtly Tin can?  and that...elf... he ain't no knight...

His friends Move slowly towards the Door to collect their  friend, One of them casting a Look at Ivy, who merely raises his Mug and winks.

The three step out the door, right behind Justin.

Kree  bows his head slightly to Luthien,Thank You. would have been a shame to kill some one, who might  kill a slaver down the road sometime....

he sits the 'outspoken' lady says,so?..what?..we're You'er slaves now?

The Princess, puts a hand on the woman's arm to quiet her, but the woman stares  hard at Kree.
Kree..purposefully takes a drink of his  wine, and studies his plate  as he picks up another spoonful of stew, before  eating it he says,..when we reach Ironmound, You may bed as many men as you think you can handle...until that time, You will stay together, we did not take you from that place, only to lose you somewhere  else...if you needs are that great? Find other ways to sate it...

Seeing them out the door, he nods sideways to Jenna commenting in elvish.

He motions to the glaring woman and back to Jenna and heads back to his seat and continues eating.

Didn't even get cold, he says as he washes a bite down with some Ale.

Re: Furman's Chain.

Jenna smiles wryly as the man eyes her up while backing toward the door.  Once out, she takes her hand from her dagger and returns to the table.  I'm not a great lover of bar fights myself.  Seems I get a lump on the head from an ale mug most times.  Dinner and ale is better.  She also begins to eat her stew which is surprisingly good for tavern fare.

Dropping back into common, Jenna says, So what brings you to become a part of our merry band?

Re: Furman's Chain.

Lafisual nods in agreement.  It is, he replies as he continues eating, and then ponders for a bit considering just how much of an answer she wants, and how much he's willing to start with.

Well, he starts slowly with pause.  I was actually getting along quite well with my elven brothers and sisters.  Things were relatively peaceful most of the time for us.  Of course, he motions his head and blinks pointing sideways a bit, there are always periodic intrusions to our forests by the various marauders much like here I am sure.

Taking another drink, he then continues.  In addition to defending our lands, there were those who would seek refuge with us - elves that tended to be of a...darker nature.  He continues as he rubs his right index finger over his brow and temple.  But these were often outcasts not wanting to stay in the dark, so we took them in and showed them the pleasantries of living in the light.  This was my calling for a time, and may be again someday. He absent-mindedly runs his hand over his necklace.

Taking a larger prolonged gulp of ale, he continues.  Eventually I was, shall we say, compelled to travel to the coast and then make a long journey across the sea.  I recently arrived in Ironmound by way of Mouri.  I found my way to our recruiter there.  It seemed the proper course of action for me, to join the arrows.  He directed me on how to most likely find Kree, and well, here I am so to speak.

He concluded with a shrug and a warm grin that would invite either a followup  question or an opportunity for her to share her story.

Re: Furman's Chain.

Jenna listens while finishing her stew, then asks, So these "outcast" elves, they were like bandits or pirates and you took them in and helped them change their ways?  Kind of like a priest?  Her  question had no hint of sarcasm or guile.  Her voice portrayed real curiosity.
