MERCHANT'S LANDING

Kree  Got  up  Putting his   tunic around his neck...Belief  is taught?....   I  a fisherman prayed to a rock and tossed it in  the  river , and  recieved  a large catch?>. he would raise the  rock as a god..and forvere  more   do the  same...and? when the  rock did not   answer the call, he would  say, he is unworthy.... Byt  the Sisters of Luck?.... one cannot  deny them... for we see it  each and  everyday...  Eta and Netta. have aided me and mine..and  raely turned thier backs..... If   My  prayer  goes  unanswered,  it  is because....

he winks and grins,..I was out of luck!

Jason shrugged and grinned at the Captain. Jason's old Captain had been right, Jason would fit in much better here. "Fate is fickle, but the Sisters are wise. May we continue to please them, Kree. I consider myself lucky to have met you."

Yon Discourse tween Mistress Myranda anst Kree be about others perceptions oft the Crimson Arrows. If Thy opinion of the discourse be as Kree hath suggested, being others see us as gods; such be both erroneous anst pitiful. To perpetuate such a fallacy be foolishness. Master Orlin hath disregarded the point also, seeking to divert it from that point, to how others worship. The fact that others worship is, be to a degree ath he hath suggested personal, based upon what each hath personally learnt or hath been taught by the Divine.

MERCHANT'S LANDING

The  people   sat   and   ate, many moved off to the   shadows, or  to   small fires of thier own.

The   MAin in had the  lower  floor  completed.. the  bar  was set up.. it wouldn't be long  before   Ale and  food  would flow.. the frame  was up for the second floor   that would have   a dozen decent sized  rooms.

two smaller    Inns  would have  67  rooms  and a Common  room in the back...

homes  were  getting worked on , much slower. Until the walls  were set.

MERCHANT'S LANDING

Relaxing  as the Nightly dinner went. Kree made the rounds of the  town with a  Mug of  wine, stopping at some fires  where some would refill  hi Cup  as he talked with them.

Guards  were  set  in between  the great lanterns  that were set ever  20 yards, to make  those who spy on the town, harder to use your  night sight, and see those in the  Shadows , with the  lights  on either side.

The towers    had   one archer  in as well

Niphre had seen illustrations of goblins before, but she had never seen such numbers of them, and it was quite astonishing. I wonder how nice they are, She thought, before sitting down and eating, enjoying the food greatly.

After finishing the dinner, she decided to patrol the settlement's perimeter herself, in case she spotted something that Justin and Kree might have missed.

Jason is resting against the newly built wall, smoking a cigar he rolled. Niphre can see him from plenty far off, but Jason pretends not to notice her until she has come within five feet.

Orland would drop by and speak with those he had worked with during the day. He seems genuinely concerned about their lives and where they were going from here .  Probably a residual of his place as a community leader with his people.

He  winked at the Fletcher  who  smiled.. the man went to  pick up the ebst bundle he hand  and  began to  set them up on a little notched  table the  Boy used to paint.

MERCHANT'S LANDING

...........  Morning....

After  washing up, and the group grabbing   some hot  stirabout from the cook fires..Kree  began to   buckle   his   belt on, then his  cloak,  with his pack over  top.  along with his  quiver.

The  two elders  came over.......hope yer  travels  are good, Capt'm... and ye  find  those you seek....

..They won't  know we are coming  until we  reach the Trace Wood... then it  will be  too late....

..we look forward  for your  Next Visit.... and Thank you for  the chance  we have  given The Timber....

his hand  waved to his people,..Thank them.... they  did  as much, if   not more then I.... and its  well past the time, The Timber  unshackled itself  from Tou and  the restrictions  they  made on our trade...And should   any Tou Envoys seek me out?... tell them to meet us in Ironmound about   2  ten-days from  now....

He pulled his  Hood  up against the Morning chill, he stopped  by the   fletcher ,,  giving them  5  Gold , by way of a  bonus  for having the arrows  ready.

Then.. a High pitched  Whistle, and waved his   folks  for the trek on the .. bark/and gravel road  the women and  children  who weren't  skilled workers  had  'paved'.

..Everyone, grab a bucket, so we can get  dump  some   rock chips    down the road  for them...

about  3  miles  down the road, is where the  'paving' ended...  Kree would  set his   2  buckets down  for those  at the  end of the road.. , the 'windfall' of the extra  buckets  pleased those who   camped  out  to work  the road  as they  extended  towards  the landing
