Krwyn had had his watch this night and now, after breakfast, he joins his companions, taking two buckets in the same way as Justin did.

Reaching the front of the pathway Justin placed his bucketts beside the ones Kree carried. Glancing at the folk he bid them a pleasant day. Moving along Justin took up a left flanking position as tbe Crimson Arrows continued their travel.

Niphre took a place on the right flank, glancing back at Merchant's Landing, and continued to ride on.

   The   hours  it took to reach the landing itself, was  reasonably comfortable.. a slight  breeze  from the west, cased the   warmer air from the  east away.. clouds  be    forming, there   would be a  storm this night.

   Three  wharves have been made thus  far, extending   about  50 yards  into the  river. some children fished off the end of the wharves , seems like   they were having   good luck.

  Like   The town .. there  were palisades up.. with River stone being stacked and Mortared behind    it... like the town... people were taking bark chips and  stone  chips to   help p[ave the road to the town some  older   children who were too big for   chipping  and too small for building  where  gathered   , plate sized   river  stones.. setting them in place, thus extending the road a bit faster.

 Kree announced,.. out  ships should be   in today, depending on the weather.. once they are  ready to  leave.. we will sail Up river with them.

 there  were  three Buildings of  stone  set up... one  was a  Military  HQ of sorts.. the other two were small  inns.. a bigger   Inn was being Built, the owners  were serving food  and drink from Under canvas with    thatched  walls  for   protection.

Orlin had carried as many buckets as he could on the way out.  He liked these people, brave and ambitious yet they were good to each other

  Kree  moved   out to the  docks  and  asked the   tower guard  what he  could see... There was a  ship sailing Up  river, sails would gauge it to be Snad Folk....

 three ships  were   comign dwon river, the  falhs  mark them as   'Black Timber' ships... depending on the weather, they would reach the Docks  Late   tonight, or  early tomorrow.

  "So we probably will be setting sail after noon tomorrow after they do their business?"  Orlin asks

    A nod from  the Elf,..depends on what they wioll take  back up th River... it  will not be long, before  the Plains  Elves,  The Trace Wood  and Vall..send  coin  to order  supplies  and goods,  then the shipping  will be  come as  Busy as  The Storm River. You add to thjat, Good   coming  uo from Mouri. either through the Trace Wood , or Up the  river  as  they  stop  at  fishing  villages  and such.

  Justin  and Myra  moved on, heading  towards  the Balck Timber  to see  about  what they might  be able  to do  towards the High Peaks.

  Jason  stayed back at the  the town of  Merchants LAnding, to help  build. His eagerness to face the blades  and Bows ahead of them, dimmed  a bit  as stories  were  told   around the   cookfires.

 Kree and Ivy  watched the others, wondering how many of them currant  group of  Arrows  would  be staying.

Orlin seemed unwilling to leave the arrows though his brow seemed troubled.

  "Our unit seems to be shrinking a bit.  Are we going to have enough people for the mission?"

  Kree  smiles  and Looks  at Ivy..  the Blue eyed  elf  smiles,we  will hunt  down the traitors.. and they will die, even if there is only one of us  here to  finish it...This is a matter  of Honor... a Blood price  must be paid.

"Then we must play our tactics closer to our chest.  Maybe nibble away at them till there are few to stand against us."

  Kree snorts,..if  he   has gone  rogue  enough to  send   fellow Arrows to thier  death, then he  might be   trying to take over the  Merc  Group.... so?..it will be hard to see who stands  with who.... I wager to say he might have a following a  few newer  recurits...., He will not stand to fight us..he  will run, until he find a place to   trap  or ambush us....It  does not matter though... The  trip up  river   for us, will be the start, of the end of his life...

   Orlin's staff whispers something. He knods.  "You will need an airborn scout when the time comes.  The old one wants to help but he is on the largish size."

  Ivy speaks  up,  we had  our  share  of  flying folk.. they always seem to  die   or go away?....but  eyes   in the  trees  would be  good, for certain...

 ..we have hinted  down , many a foe  in these lands... hunting down traiors  should prove to be...less challenging

  “Perhaps, though it would seem it’s more than the flyers that are turning over.”  The staff murmurs something “old one says he smells a rat....” Orlin gives the staff a funny look “and he says it’s making him hungry.”

Stardancer yawned as she moved with the others.  "Sorry I have no pegasi in my blood"

  Kree   chuckled,..thanks the gods  for that?.. I see what horse  leave on the high roads... sure  wouldn't  want that falling on me!

   Ivy  chuckles.....you complain  about my jests?

 I do not recall , saying i jest?

"Still...perhaps aid from a local falconer or one with an avian affinity may help.  Perhaps a sage or elder can send us in the direction for such aid?" Stardancer suggested.

Maybe, falcons don’t like to talk all that much.  They’d rather be hunting.

   Watching  the tower   Guard, Kree asks,are they sailing..or are they in shore yet?

 well? Captain?.. they  have alot of torch light up there? I have to think they are loading and   unloading.. either  way.. I thiunk they'll cast off before   sunup..

Niphre, or course, decided to continue on, knowing she needed to help finish the mission, and then she could finish the mission her king had gave her.

Krwyn listens to the banter between his comrads. He is eager to follow up on their mission.

    with the arrows      fining shelters  in some tents  and such  that were  erected   for  workers   and  crews  of  ship, The SGT  in charge of the garrison of  12   warriors ( 6 of them archers).. talks and says.....when its   all said  and done...  city we  reach from   where the Merchants  are setting up.. to here... this  will be  out  'docks' with  Inns  and Pubs... some stores  and supply houses.... but the  reach market place  will be inland  where it  will be  more protected...

 ..you will need to start   recruiting   troops to man the   walls..... with the.Sand Folks  and CAt  folk living in the  lands  across the river, and   the  people who  live   down river  to where it  empties into the Seas where the Red Elves  hold sway?.. this will be a  nice target to hit.
