Kree   whistles  for a stop, his bow  has an arrow  nocked. His eyes  sweep the  shadowed  area...a storm is coming, it  will be here  shortly.

  Be  ye beasts or  men..you will die this  night, should you prove   to be a foe....we seek shelter  for the Night,,,and a place to defend should  we  be followed..... if you wish to defend this spot  against us...let us do it now, so me and mine will be able to get a fire goign  before  the storm arrives...

There is   some rustling, noises a, as  well that may or may not  be  some form of speech...

 Kree's eyes shift as he watches  for Movements.. weather you speak ..or  no?  we are coming up..you can either share the shelter...run..or  die...I no longer care which.

Lysander scans the path in front of him, looking for movement or sound.

    Kree   jerks his head to the  crumbling steps,Lets go... if  we are to get wet, let it be with the blood of those  who will harm us..

  he  and Ivy  move  up, opposite  sides of the  stair way..the  stairs are a good 20  yards   wide, some kids of  opening looms  ahead, But  trees, moss and brush  cover most.

Krwyn brings up the rear, his bow ready. He makes sure he has some free fields of fire if needed.

Lysander falls in behind Kree, axe at the ready.

 Elandra had a guiding bolt ready, and her x-bow at the ready, as she also followed Kree up the steps ever watching and listening.

Riven remained near the rear to help give Krwyn some protections as well while they moved.

  As  the arrows   went up the ruined  stairs,  the  activity become more  noticeable,,,, when  Kree  crested the top step, his   bow was brought Up...

  we have  more then a few people who can see you....let us  get this business  finished... fight us  and  Die...Flee and Live.....

 The  was a high pitched  cackle, an older Goblin stepped  from the darkness...You are the  Blood Captain, of the Arrows of Blood.... you have a  treaty with  members of  my  tribe, they run the  feery near the river, and across the  River called  Tou...

 Kree's  bow  did not lower,those  goblins  earned thier place  at the end of the Black Timber.. they run the ferry, and  keep the coin, they help guard   our  end near the  swaps, and  they get to live, hunt and farm  in that section of the Timber

 The goblin stepped out..older, more yellow then green,..The dwarves  of the mountains, they allow us passage, as long as we do not harm humans  who hunt for  furs, and leave Dwarven folk alone.. they allow us to  hunt the Elves from the Iron trees, and  any  of the humans who come from the  far side of the mountain..they pay us for the ehads.. we are permitted to keep the bodies.

 His  arm, holding a rushed  short sword  with a hilt of gold, swept the area behind him...These ruins are, our  home....there a is a passage to the  tunnels that lead  under the Great River Strom.... the  Mountain Dwarves use it  some time, to hunt intruders and beasts....it has been many sad time, we had to kill other goblins, who are not friend of the Dwarves

 Kree lowered his  bow, and made a big show of placing  the arrow in his quiver,we are going forth, to find the   men from the other side of the Mountain, we must reach the  top river, where it meets the Widow river,,and Kill what  we find, that needs to be killed. We need shelter  tonight, warmth  and food, we will be gone   as the sun rises...

 walk to the north  side of this  stone floor... you will see a place   for  cooking  and  a palce to  rest...Some people of the Arrows of Blood  stop here..as do those  men who hunt  the furs... they trade us meet for safe place.. we will bring you a deer.....do not   leave  the area to go into the ruins...there  are creatured  who have died, but are not yet dead..

  The older  Goblin poi8nts  with his sword  and motions  for  Kree  and others  to follow him...

 You are welcome  here... you are as hated by the horsemen with  shiny helms , as we are... you have  killed some..maybe many? So have we...We are angry, at one of your people, they Killed  a Ferry man, last year,,,

 ..and he is  dead.... as you see, he is not  among us....I know it  is  small accounting for the loss, but the Ferry Goblins were given coin and  weapons  to help them defend thier selves   better..

 This, I know... we send new goblins who wish to  work the ferry, or live  in the  Timber , one time, everytime , the moons  cycle ... some come back, who found they did not like it...so we hear the tales, of what happens

 The stop, there is a  small cistern a bit  broken, that has water   streaming into it from above.

 the  fire place was could,  and the back of the  area had some walls...your fir , cannot be seen, from far places...Rest well  Blood Captain, and your people...

 two younger Goblins carry a  deer, already skinned  and such, ready for  cooking  and adding of spices and such.  The Goblin stopped   , lookign back over his  shoulder,..hunt well.... the other side humans...they are not good...they kill for   fun and  coin...not to live and protect,,,

 Kree smiles,I kill them for  fun, its the way i protect...

 The  Old  Goblin could be heard laughing for a few minutes , until all was  quiet..

 Ivy was already staring  a  fire.

Lysander will do a circuit of the area, ensuring he sees all the exits, hiding places and potential traps.  He seems sullen.

 Elandra had her x-bow at the ready, but then after a talk they where welcomed, as they walked Elandra said," Thank you may Peace always be with you." Elandra then sat down and got everyone who was injured with in 30 feet of her and she would do her 10 min healing prayer and use two spell slots to increase it's power.

Tyri felt a small sense of relief for the break as she moved to where Ivy was. "Are you alright?" she asked softly, setting her things down.

  Kree  watched the  end  of the  area that they entered,..Goblins  are vile and evil foes, when....they are your foes. They do have a sense of honor, as  far as giving thier  word... The Goblins  that The Elders allowed to live and Guard in our  swamp end  reaches, free up Wardens to  help patrol the tree lines, and  keep out  , or kill intruders. They know the trust was given, they know  what happens if that trust is broken...

 we will leave when the  sun crawls over the Mountain.. we should reach Boll by the end of the day.Boll should be , more friendly...but  we cannot leave our  guard  down.

 he  sets up his bed  roll,we weill leave Boll the next day...we will have to travel  as close to the Furman's Chain  as we are able, to cut down on meeting creatures  and  enemy hunters...., we will try and stop  at  towns, if they are in reach.

 Ivy was turning the deer on the crude spit.This is alot of deer for just us.....

 Kree nods  as he stands...They gave us  thier best.... they have little ones... I am going to invite the leader and perhaps  a few others to sup with us. We will tell them to take the rest back to thier  tribe, because it will be wasted on our trip...

 ..but...we could eat on the way...

 Kree walks towards the main stairs, to where they met the Goblins

  Ivy  shakes his head,..people  say he's  harsh? I think he gets softer by the day...

Lysander will sit looking out at the forest, searching for movement, in theory, but more lost in his thoughts.  He plans to join the others for the evening repast.

 Elandra helped and as Kree left she said too Ivy," He spreads Peace in many ways Ivy, he does have a good heart but no tolerance for our enemies which works for me in spreading Peace."

As Krwyn had met the goblins at the ferry once, he is somewhat used to the strange bond between the elves and the goblins. When the dead of the ferry-goblin is mentioned, he winces, as it was a party he was in that killed the fellow.

  The Goblin Leader  came in with a  female and a Younger Male... they  sat  down  as   Elvy started to   Cut the  meat, and slice the remainers of the loaves of bread , Kree and he had taken from the Inn.

  they say  around the    fire, the heat  feeling good against the   hard  cool rains  coming down, the Moss and  trees , acting  as a curtain , of sorts..

 Ivy   served the   Female Goblin firest, then the other two with two slices  of  meet and  two slices of bread.. then he served The Arrow  weapon first and then his male comrades, Kree getting served last.

 The Younger  Goblin asked...you serve Females first?

 Ivy  smiled...though there are many exceptions, Most elves and Human Males  treat thier  females  with extra respect... the  females with us...are warriors, and thus , gain a bit more...I served    You Mate, because she is ...in essence, the mother of your  clan....

 Kree looked at the Deer, we  may have another Helping  from the  deer, But you would  make me  happy, if you take the rest back for your  clan?.... we will not need any more, and we will be ion Boll by this time tomorrow...

The Younger Goblin looked insulted, the Older Goblin raised his hand..You are wise.. Leader of the Blood Arrows. Wasting   food the forest gave us, would cause her to frown upon us..I thank you for   not allowing that to happen, and for thinking of  my clan..

 It is you who gave us  the meat to eat....if this was at a Table of some great Hall, we would have   taken our portion, , and the rest passed along  the table.... we have taken our portion..now..we pass it around the table of you clan...

 Ivy  hands out  tins  from his and kree's backpack, 3/4s filled with Wine from the  Mayor's home.

The younger Goblins looks at  kree, taking a bite  from a slice of meat...You treat us thuis, because you need us...

 Kree smiles after talking a sip of wine..we do need you...and the  High Peak dwarves, and the  Trace Wood  Elves, and the  grassland  Elves, and those  humans who have  come to be our friends?.... because if we cannot  come toegther, it only helps the  darker foes....you  should keep that thought close to your heart, when it comes your  time to lead... warriros  can be bought by the bucket load...Leaders are as had to find as a Plat, in the pocket of a beggar.

Lysander enjoys the meal as it warms his insides.  After he finishes, he goes to find a dry spot to slumber.  He is surprised to feel save here, but he has come to trust Kree's judgement.

She listened quietly at the conversation as she ate, a soft smile coming to her lips. When Ivy finally settled down, she moved up to him and laid her head on his shoulder with a soft sigh.

Riven kept a vigilant eye but did allow herself to relax a bit, the sounds of the rain a comfort.

  The  time came  for the   Chief  to leave, two goblings  came in to take 3/4 of the deer  back  ,   it was  quiet,

 Kree   said  softly...we are safe this night, the goblins have  given us lodging, they would rather die, then let harm come to us, under thier  roof....um..as it were..

 finshing his   tin  cup of  wine, he   risned it out in the small  water  flow, packed thing up  and nestled in for  sleep.

 Ivy and finished  chcking arrows for the 100th  time,  then moved back to the stone  wall  to rest as well.

Lysander tried to sleep in a dry place, but he wasn't comfortable, no matter the assurances.  His mind was on other things.

 Elandra smiled when the meat was given to the Goblins, Elandra knew Kree had a good soul he was very harsh on his enemies though.  Elandra knelt and said her evening prayers to Amot, once her prayers where done she headed too her bedroll and laid down and slept at peace.

  During the  early morning, a Goblin scout  entered their  area.. creeping up to  Kree and hissing softly...

 Kree followed him out, grabbing his bow  and  quiver , Kree  entered back in 20 minutes later, and  layed down  once more.

Lysander spend 20 minutes very alert, watching out into the darkness.  When Kree returned, he slept fitfully.

  the  morning came  early  as   Kree   sat  by the  pot stirring some thick gruel .

 he  whistled softly to wake the others .. he  opened his pack   to get his  bowel, scooping some in.Eat..its   hot, and should carry us all the way to Boll..

 Kree took a   spoonful, his brow  furrowed  at  how  hot it was.  when he  could talk he said,..Goblins  saw   people movign through the  trees  yestereve... They were looking for   something...I  expect it was us.

 we are making  straight for Boll... if we  come  upon Dwarves, you look at what  armor they wear...High peak  Dwarves  wear  fur on thier leathers   and chain...... The   Dwarves  from  ironmound  wear  chain and Plate, and do not adorn themselevs, sicne they are in the city, or the tunnels that leade  from  the Highpeaks to  The Mound...but...if you see  dwarves that  have  dark armor, and no furs..they are dark dwarves, and ....they almost always, work  for   Hargen.


 any elves we  come  across, will almost aways  be   Ironwood  elevs, as they seems to poach the high peak slopes...

 we cannot trust any humans , until we get inside the  wall of Boll...
