Elandra will dodge the next arrow attack, one actually cane pretty close to her. Elandra will then fire one bolt at Orc 17 and then head over to Kree to check on and to heal his wounds.

Luthien's shield work is solid, as he continues to attack orcs 6 and 8.

But his footwork is a little sloppy against Orc 6...

  Kree   Hobbled  up to the top of  the rise..   The one   orc  near Ivy's tree called out...will you let us  Yield?

 Kree  laughed,would you have elft us  yield?... You came this way looking  for  blood  and meat..today...you become  ...blood  and meat..

The floating sword is pushed into the ground, and the surrounding snow gives away the fact that the user does not move far from it.  With the ice dome shielding them from the remaining orcs and the last of the battle, Eldon suddenly appears to Ivyain.

Ivyain sees he is little more than a wood elf lad, dressed in leather armour with the clothes he wears under of fall hues.  He bows slightly to Ivyain, sweeping off his green felt hat with a blue bushy plume as he does so.  Unruly strawberry blonde hair sweeps forwards as he bends, whipping back up as he shakes his head to keep it from his eyes and places the hat back on his head.  "Eldon," he states in elvish by way of introducing himself.  Two empty weapon holsters adorn each hip, and with the keen eye of someone use to appraising an enemy in a moment, Ivyain is also able to ascertain that both boot sheaths have also been stripped of their weapons.

   Ivy gives him a look over, then  the Orcs  who are basking at the   ice  trying to get out. we have a   few Orcs to externminyate  as of yet?.. I am Ivian, Night Blade... Lt  to my  , rather gruff Cousin Kree...Quickshadow. we are a Unit of  The Crimson Arrows.

 after this   lot is  taken care of, you might wish to search bodies  for weapons

"Yup, yup, yup, they owe me two hatchets and two daggers, as well as my backpack which'll be distributed somewhere amongst them I guess." he says, reverting to common to copy the talk of Ivyian as they speak.  "What's the significance of the Crimson Arrows?  What's your purpose in these parts?"

  Ivy  tapped on the   ice , as he  drew his  blace..he  smiled at the orcs, but talked to Eldon.we are a Merc  Compnay..we.....are a bit differant then  most, The Contracts  we  take have to be the right kind, and we do some  contracts for the Crown.We  also do our best to kill as  many Hargenite, slavers , Sand folks, Catfolk..The list goes on... if you sreve  the enemy..then you die...We lose people.. some people  have to be sent  away with missives  and such..but   we have been toegther  for  a while.. I think there are two other Units out there, somewhere.

The shadowy figures inside the dome were hard to make out, but it looked like they had figured out they weren't going to cut their way out anytime soon.  "So what contract are you on now?  Are me and my soon to be dead orc captors just a happy coincidence that stumbled into your path, or were you purposed with hunting this group down?"

"I've half a mind to go in there and give them the fear, but then there's only so much power I can draw on.  Is there anything you're looking to find out from them, before they are slaughtered?  It could be my way of saying thanks for freeing me, though I was already free and I was going to to kill them off one by one anyway."  Eldon delivers the last sentence matter-of-factly, like there was no doubt he was capable of what he said.

Lysander moved along after his target dies, but another orc attacks him. (8 points)

Lysander doesn't take well to this and he swings his battle axe, connecting with the orc.

 Elandra hit Orc 17 and blew it's head completely away, Elandra didnt even bother to look as she headed to Kree and shifted from offense to healing. Once she got to Kree she said," Ok where did you get hit now lets take a look shall we."

 The  shaft had   came  down  into  Kree's  thigh, from over head, the  arrow head  was  ...just..peeking out the bottom of his thing..guess  we  have to    take the  head off that arrow, then  pull it out... been beleing slow  so far...

  Kill the   orcs   outside of that  ice thing.... then ask the orcs  on the inside, about the   Dam..and Hargenite patrols..

When the ice begins to melt and small gapes start to form, mostly likely around twigs and tree trunks sticking up out of the dome, Eldon will cast Charm Monster and look to question the Orcs in their own language, after he has been given some direction in regards to whatever it is the group wishes to know about the Hargenite and Dam.  (I'm not sure Kree has said Dam, as it looks more like a typo, but I'm short on deductive reasoning to figure out what it might otherwise stand for.)

If the spell doesn't take either orc there are others he can use.

It isn't immediately clear any enemies are left standing, so Luthien will simply regroup with the main force. Besides, the Captain looks a bit the worse for wear. He figures Elandra will get to the healing first, but if it's worse than it looks he can chip in.

Devan holds his positon, not resting despite the tide seeming to turn.  He watches and tries to pay attenion to their surroundings to make sure nothing is missed

Lorvia had attempted to attack the orc with an aerial dive attack, slipping around the trunk of her tree and along the branch leading towards it, jumping off the end covered in leaves and landing on the ground just before her target before leaping into a roll past him and kicking up a cloud of snow. instead of turning to try to attack again, she rushed off toward the group.

she slipped on the snow a few times to climb the hill, using her swords to steady herself right until she met back up with them. her first task was to check over the group members without getting in their way as they fought. Seeing Kree with an arrow in his leg and Elandra already tending to him, she decided to step close and take on a guard stance should anything get past Krees arrows if he was still firing them, yet to the side so she wouldn't take friendly fire

  With the other  two orcs  down,... Ivy seems to have found someone  who is  talking with The elf and the orcs.

   Kree   said  to the  others..some one watch the road... search the orcs   for  regular  rations, and coin, and  any decent  weapons , and  someone keep watch from where these creatures  came from. Elandra? held get this  bleeding  stop, so we  can start to move..

 Ivy  told  Eldon,ask them  if there is a larger  grup of Orcs  about, and  ask if they know where the nearest  hargenite  out post is.

 ask them how far along the Dam is.

 Elandra worked on Kree with medical skill and magic, first she would cut off the arrow tip and slowly and carefully pull the shat out. Then she would use a healing spell to stop the bleeding and seal the wound after she cleaned it. When she was done Elandra said," You are as good as new Captain."

 Elandra then moved towards the others, and said loud enough everyone could hear her, " Anyone need healing, Peace will always be with us."

      Kree  got  Up, Giving Elandra  a gentle  pat on the  shoulder,Thank you? I wish i would know..Then Netta  forget about me on that  shot.... ot  did Etta help the orc!

 He  Ripped    off  some leather  from an orc  backpack and wrapped it around his   thigh  to  cover the  hole in his  leathers

    He  walked rather  well, the healing took hold, it was stiff   a bit  stiff  as the  insides  worked their  regeneration.

Dala   looked relieved  when   kree   started to walk towards  the  receding ice  shield. He would stop and Lop off  an orcs  head  and Kick it  away as he did.

Tyri and Riven spread out to   watch the area around them.

Luthien, meanwhile, decided to check on Dala. Seeing no wounds, "Well you look good."

She always looks good of course.

Eldon complies with Ivyain's request.  First he tries to determine if the spell has taken hold requesting the orc's walk around the circumference of the dome.  If one does but one doesn't or questions the other as to what he is doing, he know's he's only charmed one.  At that stage he will suggest to the charmed orc it would be helpful to them all if he silenced his companion, for good.

If both do then everything is okay, and he'll begin to ask questions in regards to the total number of their force, though since Eldon has just escaped from them, perhaps he has first hand knowledge of how big their raiding party is himself, or if there is a larger force about.

He will then ask them/it how far it is to the nearest Hargenite out post, as well as the dam.

Once questioning is finished, and they are of no more use, (if there is two of them and unless the party does not see a need for a willing orc spy), he will suggest that they fight each other to prove who is the best.

Devan watches and listens but also meeps an eye out, still high on adrenaline from the fight.

Lysander moves forward, looking to make sure there is nothing following the Orcs.

  The orcs  spoke of   thier Camp. another   20 orcs or  so where there.. they were sent to track down the runaway.

  The  said that the Dam  was  near finished, many a month  before the hargenite's  'big plan'. The   Humans  have a  small  fortified camp set up,  10 miles  up the road  from where  they groupstood.l.l 4  Horse patrols  are there..they  take turns  send    two partraols  out, while theother    two guard the Outpost

Those   humans have  some Dwarf  prisoners, they take some to the Dam onnce in a while.

 Kree stood near  by as he pulled up  his  hood to listen

  Dala   gave him a  wry   smile,easy to look good when no one tries  to hurt you?  These orcs  were surprised and Confused... who knows  what would have  happen if  we met them on even  terms...we will have to Move  again and  quickly. there will be two sets of enemies who will send out
 patrols.

Once the questions of the group have been asked, Eldon goes on to enquire after his own equipment and whether it is with the main body of orcs.  Inparticular he wants to know where his hand axes are, his backpack of equipment, and most importantly his spell book.  (I'm not sure about how spell books work with this form of magic, but I'm sure I'll be told at some stage, or there is a post somewhere that I haven't read)

OOC:  Before introductions are even made, he questions the usefulness of the orcs that are charmed, to the rest of the party as they emerge from the fight.  The party now has the option to mislead the main body if required.  He's quite happy to keep them alive to act as arrow fodder or damage dumps if we are to face the main body of orcs again soon.  He'll let the group know at best there's probably about a 10% chance of them breaking the charm per week, earring on the side of caution, so it is more likely around 5%.
