Dala  went to the  leader, she picked up the bloody back pack, and some weapons from the body. she walked  towards   Kree  , Ivy  and  the  weird acting Orcs,

  Ivy waved to the Kree..This  is   my Cousin Kree... he is he  Captain of this unit...

 Kree  Looked at Elron...It appears  we  are  well met...The  others  will introduce themselves...

She admittedly scared him half to death with all those wounds she took during the ship battle, but luckily she survived. He also heads over towards the Orcs.

 Elandra well check to see who needs healing, using magic where needed and skill and first aid on others. Once everyone was healed or taken care of Elandra moved towards Eldon, Elandra smiled and said," We met good sir, I am Elandra Priestess of Amot, may Peace always be with you. Do you need a weapon can you wield a staff?" Elandra's golden hair was in a ponytail today.

When Elandra turns her smile on him, Eldon's eyes light up and he replies with his own genuine grin.  "Well Elandra of Amot, you're a sight for sore eyes, and not what I'd expect to see out here.  I'm Eldon and very pleased to make your acquaintance.  Some choose to call me a trouble maker, but in truth I just take my own council."

"Thanks for the offer, but the staff's not really me.  If you have a spare hand axe of dagger on your person, that'll be a different story until I can get my things back from these sheep worriers." He indicates the two orcs inside the dome as he mentions the worrying of sheep.

 Elandra smiled and blushed a little," Aww thank you, you are two kind I am just a simple priestess following my Goddess. I do have a dagger you could use Eldon and welcome to the Arrows." Elandra got out her dagger and handed it to Eldon. " May Peace always be with you."

Eldon takes the dagger thanking Elandra with a broad smile, "Not only am I sure the word 'simple' has never been used to discribe you before Elandra, but I have some wisdom for you by way of thanks for your kindness.  We should probably never go drinking together."  Eldon pulls the dagger from its scabbard testing it's weight, before he pushes it back home.

'Strange that you wish me peace with words whilst arming me for war don't you think?  I think there's some complex thinking behind that."

  Kree    waved  Eldon over... I have   some matters    we need  set, before  we  Continue...1st? I wish you to send these  orcs  down the road to  the  Hargentie  outPost..They  are to tell them,  that a Company of Ironmound  Rangers   attacked   a wagon train, stole  goods
 and  made their  way across   the River  to the far  west side... Make certain they  said, the  Rangers  stole  cargo....

Dala  gave Luthien  a tart smile, and  walked towards the  Cpatain,  with  bit of a  saucy  walk.  She  dropped the   back pack near him,This  is  from the  leader...

 Kree nodded to her  as he  unbuckled the  clasps and began  to search through it.

Lorvia sheathed her blade and headed back down the slope to go through the Dead orc's belongings she wasn't expecting to find anything of value as these orcs seemed more tribal than sophisticated and their weapons looked very crude. she grabbed up any stray arrows left from the fight and carried them to where the others would gather, glancing up at them occasionally.

Eldon got the message through to the orcs as the dome melted away.  (That's going to take about one hour, give or take, but I'm sure a hole could be hacked in the side, or a fire built next to the dome if need be to speed up the process without incurring damage.)

He had the orcs repeat back to him the message they were to deliver to make sure the knuckle draggers had understood the message they were to deliver properly.  Once he was satisfied he sent them off and returned to Kree.

"All done Captain?" he said to Kree.  The word sounded a little unfamiliar on his tongue, like he wasn't use to soldiering.  It showed no disrespect but it seemed like the utterer was somewhat amused to be addressing the man as his captain.

Luthien realizes she's showing off for him and entirely appreciates it. He does, however, appreciate it quietly. He'll find more excuses to give her compliments later, since they seem to put her in a show off mood. He files that down for future marriage life hacks.

He is curious if anything useful is to be found in the pack.

Devan doesnt expect to find anything but he combs over the battlefield away from the bodies to see if anything was dropped.  In the chaos, who knows what they might have done? If nothing else, he'll see if he can find and recover the dagger the missed the bastards.  As he looks down, he keeps one eye to his surroundings just in case.

I think you were going to be  sent  down the Storm River  To the  folks  down that way.If  Not  The red Elevs,  it would have  been the other Humans   kingdown,,we  do not like  any better then  Hargen... I suppose  you would have been a  slave, or groomed to be a mage for   whomever   paid the price to get you...That is  just  a guess. "Whoa" Eldon all but grasps when he sees the book upended into the snow and leaves.  He practically dives forward to rescue it.  "Yeah this is my stuff," he blurts out as he picks up the book like it was a cherished lover, brushing off imagined debris.  He grabs the bag and kneeling he begins to repack his belongings.  "It's good to have it mostly back, but the damn stinking thieving animals have lifted my coin pouch and gold crowns.  I'm going to take that personally," he says as he continues to repack.  Once that is done he slips the hand axes into the holsters at his side and considers what Kree had been saying.

"To be totally up front with you Kree, me and the crown don't usually see eye to eye, and I've never imagined myself as part of a unit, but today both sound better than leaving my gold with orc scum.  So,.... if you're okay to give me a little leeway, I'll wear the uniform and call you captain, along with all that implies."

   Kree gives him a  wry  smile, his eyes  shift to  Ivy. Ivy shrugged,We  have had   worse...

 There is a Bit of a  sigh.Were  are mercenaries .  the  'home' of the   Arrows  is  The Black Timber. But  we had a  head quarters  in Ironmound as well. we are picky about the contracts  we  take, and all of  our  clients , The Crown  included, understand  that we may, take 'side trips" to curt down Slavers  and anyone  else  who has  earned  the wrong end of our blades...

 as  most companies, we do not have  unifroms..some   companies  havd  patches, or  hats,  armbands  and the like.. we have  Pins... They must be   worn to be seen... it does  cause  problems  at times, but it  can keep you out of the arena , should you do somehting  , ovrly foolish...it won't save you from my wrath  ...

 he  opened  a  purse  that he pulls  from inside his tunic... there  are  arrow  pins, earrings, rings , broaches  and   necklaces..all have a   arrow  made of ruby.Pick one  , if you wish to join..

Eldon nods along as the situation is explained to him.  "When I said the uniform, I meant these pins," he says selecting a single earring.  "I did noticed the common theme among you, and I've been meaning to upgrade this stud, so this'll do nicely," he says as he fiddles with his left earlobe removing the butterfly from the back of the small wooden disc he had there.  "I like ruby, so win, win."

He continues talking as he uses both hands to find the piercing hole and place the butterfly clip on the back of the ruby arrow.  "No surprise, I've had people get pissed off at me before captain, but I don't tend to do foolish stuff, so we shouldn't have an issue."

When he is sure Elandra isn't listening he tilts his head to Kree and leans in a bit.  "So I don't get myself into trouble cap'n, who speaks for the lady if you know what I mean, not that she can't speak for herself."

  Kree chuckles.The shorter  Human Girl,is  linked to the   man in armor... The other ladies have thier likes, but no one is linked  as of yet. the Good thing about us, Most here would simply kill you in your sleep, rather then cause your to suffer..

 Best  get to know those who will rely on you, as you do them.. he  gives  a Sharpe  Whistle.. Finish checking the  Dead..make sure  none still have heads..be  a rather  awkward thing to have to kill them again as undead..

 Elandra smiled at Eldon and replied," I do drink wine, why shouldnt we drink together, and thank you for your kind words."  Elandra smiled and then replied," Oh I weapon isn't just for war, it can be used for survival, defense and helping others. Sometimes you must fight to protect poeple's Peace."

 Elandra then began seaching the dead Orc that no one checked and would let someone else lop off their heads because all she had on her was her staff and x-bow they wouldn't work to well in cutting off heads.

As the captain mentions removing heads Eldon can't help comment.  "I'm going to like you I think captain, probably about as much as I hate the walking dead.." Eldon draws both his hatchets in a quicker motion than looks likely and goes looking in case he can find a body still intact.

OOC:  I missed your post Elandra, so I've continued our conversation below though it is a little disjointed.


"It's a self preservation thing Elandra.  If I get smashed I'll probably end up hitting on you and shiny boy over there looks like he knows which end of a weapon has a point."  He nods to Luthien now that he knows that they're each others bo's.  "You're too hot for me young lady, you'll just have to continue to admire my good looks and wit from afar."  With a flourish and a half bow to show his talk is mostly tongue in cheek, he presents her dagger back to her.  "You'll be needing this I believe."

 Elandra giggled as Eldon pointed to Luthien," Oh why would Luthien care who I drink with or who hits on me, he is getting married to Dala." Elandra smiled then added, " Oh I am thank you very much, and I am very single, and you are cute and interesting to say the least."

 Elandra was about to go finish checking Orcs when Eldon presents her dagger she smiled, took the dagger then gave Eldon a kiss on the cheek," Thank you very much, if you need assistance just ask, and Peace will always be with you."

The crimson Arrow s have a  reputation  for leaning towards the savage  ways... that  serves us  well, when we need to question  people..

h points to the  shorter  half  Drow  female who  flashes of   skin udner the cloak shows  she  dresses  more like a Gypsie  then a warrior,she  joined us   on the tail end of   a mission that we  took a round about way to finish... Eldon nods along and frowns a little at the explanation of people from Kree, given he was partway through enjoying a surprised peck on the cheek from Elandra.  There was an air of 'whatever' in his expression, though he wasn't about to not listen to the man as he absentmindedly touches the cheek where the kiss was delivered.  When Kree explains the crimson arrows reputation he joins in saying, "You use what's going to get the job done, I can live with that."

His eyes become more focused on what Kree was saying as he points out the half drow Gypsie Tyri, and whatever further interaction Eldon had planned with Elandra seemed to be pushed from his mind for a moment.  When Kree had finished speaking the moment with Elandra had moved on, and with Eldon rearmed there was work to be done.  In a smooth and obviously practiced motion both hatchets were plucked from his twin holsters and in his hands, and he moves off looking to make sure the dead orcs were headless.

 Dala     called over  to Kree, she was wiping her blade on the  fur cape of  a  female orc as she kicked the  head  down the slope to  rest in the   'valley'..Captain?.. this...is a  Holy person, she carried   daggers  and  a hand crossbow, but look at the  device on her  necklace...

Kree    picked  up the bloody   leather  with a beaten  metal  disk.. a crude  skull was formed on it,This is for Gorr, but its the symbol Orcs  gave him..a balck skull on a   coin or disk....

 Elandra?  check this  body , see if there is  any  'holy' items  you  might  wish to  use. Dala  noticed   this one was a Holy person..

"I am Elandra's back up healer...though my healing is significantly inferior to an actual priestess, I'm still the #2 if things go wrong. Beyond that we're just good friends."

Platonic friends, at that. Luthien is just as spoken for as Dala, after all!

What's nifty is that he managed to do that to them when they were live opponents fighting back. That's not easy to do!

Which involves walking up to the body of the leader of the orcs...and invoking a spell that will allow him to speak with the dead...

Perhaps this Orc knows more about what's coming...

Elandra replied Of course I will check out that Orc and two others I killed. Elandra would search the holy Orc and 10 and 11 which she killed.
