Kree    watched as the Fires  hit and took holed. Krwyn's  arrows   took hold fasted, because of the Magic involved..  Smoke  was rising.screams of panic  from women and children, curses  and stern orders   from  Troopers  and   Towns folk Militia.

A Milita  woman   made the  Mistake of   standing up to see if she  could see the attackers when she reached the parapet . A flamign  arrow Hit her chest  sending her  backwards  into the  Village  as  the flames  caught on her  leather and  cloth.

 Devan!... circle  around to the west.. if you see  anyone there. Kill them, or  warn us...


The  Fellow  nodded to   Kree and  moved off  deeper into the trees and to the west...

  everyone   send what arrows you had  prepared for fire arrows.... Krwyn, continue to use  yours  Until the gates open....

above the Village was  a small storm cloud  growing..They have  Magic  as well.. make sure to spread out..

 Elandra looks at the storm and tries to judge the strength of it, she will then say," I call upon the Goddess Amot to Dispel this unpeaceful magic." Elandra summons the power from Amot and she will use as many spell slots she needs to dispel the magic.

If the fires are taking, Eldon will climb down from the roof taking on monkey like arms as he moves down to enable himself to climb better.  He constructs his arms properly as he looks to move into the form of a town folk militia.  He will keep to the sides, trying to look engaged in an important activity (such as grabbing a bucket like he might be moving to put out a fire) but also trying to get close to the gates to see if they are to be opened, or if he could cast a knock spell to get them open if need be.

Riven looked to Luthien. “I've got you ” she said softly, indicating that she would be alright with providing some kind of support whether it was with ranged or melee. Those cold blue eyes looked at the holy warrior, assessing for a moment. When he set off, she followed at an appropriate distance.

She watched the village closely, continuing to utilize the flaming arrows until she was tapped. Once those were gone, she nocked an arrow and began to watch the gate, prepared to let it loose once they open and the opponent made himself known.

  Eldon can see  three guards  by the North gate.  a Beam o  a  leaver was set in the   cradle  of  2 Iron  'nesting  arms" o  each     gate.  The   bar , its  seems  was opened  from the left side of the gate  by  pulling on a  thick rope  that held  3 boulder-like  rocks

 One of the Three  men by the gate was  near that  leaver, while the other two   searched the  Village.. 4 troopers   were Junning towards the  gate.

The fires  were catching and smoke  was   rising ..again,,the cold  ari  was causing the smoke to flatten out  . There was a druid   weaving  and casting   as he looked  up at the  small storm Could... but a flash of pure   light hit  that  could,, and it  vanished,, The Druids  screaming in frustration.

 Outside   Elandra managed  to  break the storm cloud, Krwyn's flames  were  rising  are,

  Krwyn, keep firing until the gets  open.. all other archers, ready for whom every comes out that  door.

Finding a bucket and getting as close to the gate as he dared, Eldon realised his opening spell was no match for the mechanism to open the gate, so bucket in hand he changed tactics to seeing to some of the fires.  Casting his eyes around for a well, or failing the sight of that, for others either running to or away from the fire holding buckets, he falls in with them, looking to do what he can with the fires until an opportunity presented itself.

Lysander could hear them nearing the gate.  He steeled himself for battle.

 In side the   palisades,    The Milia were scattering, the Regulars   went out the thought the South Gate,  some  going to the right, some to the left   as they  went to circle towards  the   North gate.

 meanwhile the  Milita  had   8 people at the Gate, they seemed to be  waiting for   something..

 Outside the   walls   Lysander, with  Farora   a but  behind, on the  eastern  side  of the gate. Flames were rising high  on the western side, where Krwyn's  arrows  had   Fallen.  The  town  would be in bad shape by  night fall, the whole of the  west  wall and  the buildings  that were  huddled  next to it  would be   gone. . the east side had  fires  going, it would, indeed  end the same way, if they did not have the people   or the time to  put the fires  out.

 Dala   sent  her  las  fire  aroow  to the    East.. it landed atop the   east tower  roof...Kree looked at  her..Too high  for the wind, ...i guess? Still? its thatch?  Right?

 Kree gave  a Sigh, and watched the gates....

 Will they  send people out?

 They Must..Now? depednign  on who comes through the main gate..will tell us if we are fighting  fool...or if they are fighting fools...

Luthien had been holding back...

He has means of getting around.

 Elandra would make sure she had a good view of the gate the where nearest and waited for a target to come within range of her guiding bolts.

   Eldon saw the 8 militia  have become 10, not  counting the   gate lever  man... The South  gate    had their  leave  man  , his hand  on the  lever  as  Civies  were sent out into the trees, the very  way the Arrows  approached   at their  first meeting.. Kids   screamed  and cried.. woman shrieked  , wilded eyes   at the  sudden attack.

 Eldon figures at least 6  men went to the  west, and  6 to the right, of the  regulars.. other   regulars  were  Mounting  the  parapets  as the   tried to smoother fires  on the   south and east...

The   Building were catching now on the west, which meant the  wall was   , as well... two troopers in the  south  east  tower, were trying to  chop the supports  for the Burning top of the tower..

  The lead    2nd in command of the Regulars  , stood  with the mayor.... an Arrows   was high in the  air ,  landing their  a hiss, about  5 yards  from them .. The   LT   went  to grab the  arrow, its  black  arrow  head , attached  to a Blood red  shaft, with Black Fletchings.

 Crimson Arrows!.. they never  come this  far North...

  Krwyns    arrows  dropped into the   village.. some   found the  Building, some found the  ground and fizzled out, into nothing..a rare  one   would hit a person  , whop  would  be ablaze.

 Kree  Picked  a arrow  from His  quiver, loosign it  hight  so it would carry , well into the  village   common ground..

 May as well clain our due. Maybe  it  will make them run away...

 Maybe they will send  everyone   out  for us..

Inside the walls Eldon views the militia and quickly calculates their vulnerability to a spell and the chance of getting the spell cast before being noticed,  as opposed to chasing after the regulars that were no doubt circling left and right, around to the north to possibly flank his new found companions.

Another calculation he will be making is how close the militia are together around the gate for the spell to be effective.  No doubt they are somewhat spread out, but if the gate is their focal point and they plan to exit through it, or repel those coming through, they are going to be somewhat concentrated in that area.  They might also be fairly close to the wall for the protection it provides to any errant arrow attack from beyond.  If he is not able to target at least 50%, he'll figure the risk to him personally would not be worth the reward and he will move after the regulars to try and catch them unawares from behind.

Thinking better of his initial plan of action Eldon turns and suddenly runs towards/between some of the burning buildings, looking to use the confusion and concealment of the raging fires and smoke to help obscure his movements.  As he runs he begins to change form shrinking in size.

 Elandra will wait until she has a target.

Krwyn keeps firing his Flaming Arrows at the thatched roofs he can see, now and then targeting some guards on the walls, when one is visible for a moment. Some surprised cries of pain tells him he hits more than one of them. But now he is running out of ammunition as his quiver is almost empty. He has to find new arrows on dead enemies or when the sack this village.

   Inside the  walls..  Fire, smoke and panic  were the orde4r of the Day/  While the Militia  thought they were  strong, they were not  Professional as the  Regulars are.

 At the North Gate, the Militia    commander  had   8 men to form a   V. He  and  4   archers where in side that V.  as the gate   keeper   pulled down on the weighted  lever. and the  beam rose upwards. The seemed to  be   waiting for something.

 Kree  called for cease fire  and to wait,  , the  western wall was ablaze.. the whole side  would need replaced   and  the buildings  inside..the east was not  as bad, but people still  fought the fires.., the Top of the  south east tower  had  been   cut  off , to  fall outside the   Town's walls.. Ivy  rewarded   one of the 'choppers"  with an arrow   to the Chest.

The time had not yet come...so he waited.

Yes, he had options, but it was best the enemy had no warning of those options when the mission against the dam started later.

 that's a fact... we  killed some with stary  arrows, but they still have the Number...they still don't know al our  numbers..if  we have to flee, we already struck a blow. and we can come back some other day to finish this...but.. I am of the mind to finish it now. We must be
 patient. like a Razor  hawk in the trees  as they watch the rabbits   come from their  holes.. the numbers are important, and that's  a fact..but
 everytime  we kill one, when they do not know our  numbers..that  puts fear into them.. the  settlement is on fire.. people displaced  and in the cold  forest..they have dead, and  we still live...

 we  will kill as many egulars  as we are able.. Militia, too , most likely, it  depends on thier  demeanor .. the  Villiagers. i would rather  not..but the sister   will decide that.if they are foolish, they will die....

Dala   looked at Kree, if he noticed  he  didn't  show it...They say, at Court, that you are ruthless...

I did not atatck  The Black Timber, because  we would  not tuen our own trees over , for  humans to build  ships... nor  did  i invite  Hargenites  to join the war...I didn't  send slavers  for   slaves from folks  who can barely  survive..but there is omne thing i can do..and that is  Kill any and all who stand  in  our  way...these folks are trespassing. Ironmould   would burn the place  down  and send the women and children back to  Hargen

  he hissed to  Elandra...Elandra , keep an eye on  Lysander, if they  send   people  after us  from the flanks , they will not see them, until its  too late.

That would be ideal. Those guarding noncombatants, well, nobody knows better than a Holy Knight just how difficult it is to keep people safe. They'd actually have to expend some effort to avoid accidentally killing non combatants.

Up in the air, half hidden in the smoke of the fires burning below, a small pixie begins gesturing.  If any words accompany the gesturing, they are lost in the alarm of the fort below.  A horizontal sheet of ice forms in the air, and floats like a brick as it plummets to the ground behind the northern gate.  The pixie doesn't remain stationary, but uses the smoke for cover as it zig zags in flight looking to observe any carnage caused by its spell below.

 Elandra saw something move in the trees, she gave hand signals to Farora and Lysander to warn them of the movement she saw. Elandra would watch that area to see if anyone was sneaking up behind her two friends.

Lysander stepped up his observation in the direction indicated by Elandra.
