Rise of Elantra: All are Welcome
Hello everyone, the plan is for a dynamic, evolutive, built from the ground up city. Resettling a land that was once under the sway of an evil Lich king, the players will undertake quests designed to build up the city. Eventually, most of the population should be made up of former PC's (characters that die get revived as NPC's) while the economy should be somewhat dynamic, with goods and services being offered based on what skills the former PC's have. There will also be special events and quests that are open to everyone as time goes on. Even full storylines, depending on how things are going. Characters can be as short-term, or long-term as you want, and you can retire them at any time to reroll a new one. So long as you're not giving other players too much grief, anything goes, and the city/world will evolve to fit the actions of the players. Eventually, the ruler of the city will even be replaced by a former PC, at which point they will rule according to the nature of the character in question. My hope is to have the players create a vibrant, fun world (or a cratered hellscape if that's what floats people's boats)
-To avoid confusion, I will be using the vanilla 5e ruleset. You can play any race/class/alignment within that ruleset.
-All new characters start at level 1, and derive no benefit from the success/failure of your previous character even if they are associated with them in-game.
-No lethal PVP. Infractions will be enforced in-world according to the situation, but I reserve the right to kick you out if you're being too obnoxious. Duels where both parties agree are perfectly acceptable. Non-lethal fights are also acceptable, so long as no one is griefing low-level players/robbing them/other unwanted deeds. If you want to go around getting into bar-fights though, I'm not gonna stop you.
-We accept an infinite number of players. All I need is your character name, and I'll add you in.
