Looking for some lighthearted superhero action mixed with Adult game spice?

Part superhero action, part character development, part dating game. You're an up and coming superhero looking for your place in the world...and maybe for someone to share that place with.

You have been recruited by the eccentric Australian billionaire Mr. Wayne Bruce, longtime friend and financial backer of past premiere super teams. (Rumors that Mr. Bruce used to be the enigmatic hero Ghost Bat have been repeatedly and roundly disproved.) Given access to the ZIP network of teleporters, you can move easily from your home town to major locations around the world and to Smackatoa Island, part tropical paradise, part superhero base/training facility.

The GM will set up some basis for the world, some established supervillains for you to thwart and so on, but the focus will be player-driven stories and additions to the world. Work with your fellow players to develop storylines and adventures to your mutual satisfaction on events, control, and to an extent crunch.

The supers part is intended to be a Silvery Bronze, closer to the animated Justice League or Avengers and Spider-Man type shows than things like Invincible. Not quite Superfriends, but a long way from Watchmen or Bloodgoregunfest. Ripoffs loving homages are welcome, as well as more original or mashup concepts.

The dating part can be about whatever you want, subject to RPol limits. There will be some character limits imposed partly for those reasons too. Work with your partners on comfort levels and where you want to go. Does the big boy scout stay that way once the lights are out? Just what does that Amazon princess use that lasso for after hours?

“You sure about this Wayne?”

“You remember how it was Kent. It was like an Olympic Village where everyone had gold medals. And the aliens…”

“Hey now…”

“Exhibit A. Born light years away and your parts are compatible? The Progenitors were busy. Anyway, mostly young, everyone amazingly fit, bodies pumped full of super-serums, weird radiation and hormones…it’s a wonder any crime-fighting ever got done.  And you know how hard it is with someone not in the life. Maybe some of these will find real partners out of this. There’s some I have my eye on, think it might just work. Others, well…I kind of want to see what might happen.”

More welcome, we are still in early stages of meeting and getting to know each other, though some have already gotten to know each other more closely than others...

Open to try other characters.

A bunch are hanging out at the base at present, a few are in Norway fighting a Frost Giant incursion. Talks of planning other adventures, and naturally occurring hijinx are underway.

Please consider the intent and tone of the game when applying. If you don't like superheroes or the concept, you won't like the game. If you want to totally ignore one aspect of the game in favor of the other, you won't like the game. Have a character that is a hero, but limited. There would be positive reasons they are recruited (doing good) and needs recruiting could meet (need backup, experience, problems with powers, resources, etc.). These are heroes doing good, but with help, resources and partners could do even more. Costumes and super names are good. See RTJ for more and PM me with questions.

Ability wise, we currently evenly split between 'magic' and 'not magic' as sources for powers. I would like to see the balance start to lean more heavily towards characters with superpowers, or tech-based powers, or highly-trained types. Or combinations in various flavors. Hit me with the right character and I may let more magic squeeze in, but others have a better shot. Please peruse the cast listing to see what kind of powers we already have to avoid too much overlap in schticks.

On the relationship side, after a quick survey I think we have:

Males - 3 heterosexual, one gynosexual
Females - 3 heterosexual, 4 lesbian, 5 bi/pan/curious
Flexible/intersex - 1 lesbian, 1 pan
