EDIT: WHOA pardners, this filled up quick. I want to keep our starting number below 8, so I'm officially calling this FULL UP and am capping and closing this now. Maybe next time!

You live on the continent of Tethys, at the center of which is the Queendom of Sefonia. Aside from the occasional evil cult or monster, life is pretty good a lot of the time.

But ancient secrets and threats turn up now and then, offering opportunities for exploration and adventure and treasure...

How can mysterious islands, ancient temples, lost tombs, spooky caves, and monster lairs just... show up, though, in places where they definitely weren't at all last month? It's obviously magic, but...?

Well, whatever's causing these dangerous ancient places to appear, it's happening more frequently than it used to! The Adventurer's Guild (psst-- you're in The Adventurers' Guild!) thinks that it's because of some evil cult that's trying to bring about whatever their favorite flavor of doomsday might be-- so the Guild is determined to stop them-- or at least to keep the problem from getting worse!
