Story So Far:

In the aftermath of Ragnarok, the cataclysmic event that shook the very foundations of the cosmos, the once glorious realm of Asgard lay in ruins. The great hall of Valhalla, once resounding with the victorious cheers of fallen warriors, now echoed with the haunting silence of desolation. The Aesir gods, valiant defenders of the Nine Realms, had vanished, their fates unknown.

Amidst the chaos and devastation, Loki, the cunning trickster and sworn adversary of the gods, seized the opportunity to claim the throne of Asgard in the absence of Odin and his kin. With the power vacuum left by the gods' disappearance, Loki cunningly manipulated events to consolidate his grip on power, weaving a web of deceit and manipulation that ensnared both mortal and immortal alike.

But as the realms began to bleed together, the barriers between worlds shattered, unleashing a torrent of chaos upon the once-stable cosmos. From the icy depths of Niflheim to the fiery realm of Muspelheim, ancient beasts, monstrous creatures, and otherworldly beings spilled forth into Midgard, the realm of humanity.

The once-proud city of Asgard, now a shattered husk of its former glory, became a haven for all manner of outcasts and exiles, drawn by the promise of sanctuary amidst the chaos. Yet even within its walls, tensions simmered as rival factions vied for control, each seeking to carve out their own dominion in the wake of the gods' disappearance.

Meanwhile, in Midgard, humanity found itself besieged on all sides by the encroaching forces of darkness. From the dark forests of Jotunheim to the mist-shrouded shores of Helheim, creatures of nightmare prowled the land, preying upon the unsuspecting and the unwary.

In this turbulent new world, alliances were forged and broken, heroes rose and fell, and the fate of the cosmos hung in the balance. But amidst the chaos and despair, whispers began to spread of a prophecy, foretelling the return of the gods and the dawn of a new age. And as the forces of darkness gathered their strength for one final assault, the fate of Midgard and the Nine Realms rested in the hands of those brave enough to defy fate and forge their own destiny.

Players character will be similar to that of Norse mythology. Often men and women of different backgrounds and skillsets. The plot is based around how these men and women deal with the God's fall. With no one left to worship who stops the evil from creeping in and taking over Midgard?

If you have wanted to play this is the game. Crown and Skull is a perfect game for this story as it doesn't have complex rules that make it harder to learn. It's a very easy to learn rulebook that will offer a variety of options to player characters.
