Re: Tali's Arrival

Tali noticed, and recognized, Bronk and Hope, and moved to intersect with them before they could walk out.  She offered a nervous smile when they took note of her and waited until they seemed to be willing to listen to her.  She said in heavily accented English, "Hello.  Sorry for bother.  I arrived not long ago and was hoping for some help with going to party that was spoke of at meetings today?  Maybe you are going and I can accompany please?"

Tali frowned slightly as a blush crept into her cheeks and she shifted uncomfortably.  The whole day of meetings and practices were still a blur mostly for her, and she realized she recognized these two, but had no idea what to call them even.  She cleared her throat gently and added, "I am called Tali Raisel.  Tali...", as she shifted in place again and didn't seem to know what to do in the given situation.

Re: Tali's Arrival

Adam Looked at Tali then to Ben  he shrugged with a smile,..well, Hi Tali, I'm Adam..Bronk..This  is Ben Hope..our  Monster TE..that fellow a bit behind us is Lucas our Full back...well? Your Townhouse   is  near ours, all the players' are for that matter..easier to keep track of us , I guess..If yu want? You can ride over  with me to  the townhouses and you can relax a bit before the party, and if you need a ride, I'm sure  either of us can take you...

jerking  his head in Lucas's direction he added, Lucas will be going with one of  us for certain..I think it will be a good thing  for you..get to know some of the players...but..um..well.. watch out  for Steele..the 3rd QB? he is a bit on the....aggressive side  when it comes to LAdies...

she  looks around, ..so? You want that ride to your Townhouse?  The PArty wpon't  be really hopping for another  2 hours  or so, though some folks go early  to eat? But..you can cross over ot the  Dinning area anytime you want...Your call..Townhouses or The Rising sun...?  he was writing  down something on a business card  and handed it to her..that is  my Cell...Cel's  cell, and Yuto's Cell . You need something? YOu call anytime of day or night...any of us  will be glad to help you....

Re: Tali's Arrival

Lucas held his chest as he laughed hard at Adam's comment on Steele.

Steele, agressive, he said.  That would be like saying you were a mediocre football player.

Lucas shook his head.  To put it simpler, he thinks that he's the better man.  Even better than Mr Adam here, whose dating the head cheerleader.  He thinks he's top dog around here.  I'll take that ride by the way Mr D3.

Tali frowned thoughtfully and shook her head.  She was about to answer as Lucas spoke up, and she looked toward him as she paid attention to his comments.  She smiled with him as he laughed, though wasn't overly sure what was so funny.  She returned her attention to Adam and said, "It would be strange to arrive early.  I will take a ride to the townhouse."  She smiled and nodded with her decision.

Lucas tossed his satchel over his shoulders and walked out of the complex and towards Ben's truck tossing it in among all his other things.

For the most of us, we are a big conceited, but its only cause we love the game so much.  Some of us aren't conceited at all...

He laughed again and got into the back of the truck.

Re: Tali's Arrival

Adam  wheeled out  ahead of ABen's truck, as he grinned to Tali,..ah well..Big guys  like Big Trucks....

He Flicked  his  cell open and dialed up an auto contact...a few Moments a woman's Voice  was heard,You have reached the  Office  of Yuto Amota GM of the Facksonville Dragons....how can i be helping you... Lilly speaking...

Hi..this  is Adam Bronk? I have our newest  player here can you tell me the number of the townhouse?

...just one moment..please... there was the sound of  typing   and Lilly came back on.....she is to be getting  , number  47...the player  was  cut on Sunday night..there are no toher  people in that house.... I will have the  Super be waiting there with the Keys...Thank you...

...nope..thank  you Lilly..we shall see him there shortly...

Grinning he closed his cell  and said, last time  i had help like that> was when i played in the Japan Industrial League.  a minute or so later they were pulling into the  Ironwrought gates that opened to ..hwat was really..a football community. All the Town houses were used by the FDragons  or  Dragon personel.  As they Drove  down the  raod he pointed at  #19...That  is Mine and  Place...Lucas is down this  way abit...and..there is YOur  place...at the  farend  before  the  houses  bend  around the corner, are the Cheerleaders..Cel's is the first one of the cheerleaders....Thankfully Steele and a few others players  are around the corner heading down the road..

stopping the car he gets out, Looking down the street, a Man stepped  from a nice  red brick house on the Fence  side of the street, He was dressed in Amota Industries Green overhalls with a Dragon on the back. Adam pulled the backs  from the hatch and walked up steps  and waited on the older fellow as he nodded  down the way,..don't know his  whole name..but we call him Jack...he and his crew can fix  just about anything...or so i am told..haven't had to call him yet..now? don't forget to use those number...you need a ride to  The Rising Sun?   Jack?  This is Tali..she is Vieing  for the  Kicking Job with Protor..she'll be here for at least a week..they are gonna inactivate who doesn't win the job this week, then next week...they'll see who they keep...

..such a business...don't see them doing that to maintenance men!  Glad to meet you Tali..just call be Jack...  one hand  was offered to shake, with the other he opened the door to the townhouse, and let them in...Adam Put the BAgs  down by the door and said, see ya  later Tali..thanks JAck... anf the Little WR  headed  out the door.

JAck began to explain that it was sorta  one big house..with two apratments in..the Upstairs and downstairs each had  two bedrooms a fullbath  and a kitchen, However..the Huge  living room was a "common" room, since the stairs  lead up from there.

You got Cable and access to all channels...the kitchen is fully furnished and the Girls from Personell put some  food and Milk and such in the fridge..you need anything else, there is  a corner store on the Northwest and south east Corners of the  complex...or..there is a supermarket  to the North of the PArkign lot where the mall is....if you need a ride..taxi numbers are posted by the phone..and you can find  about anythign youwant in New JAcksonville...any questions?

Re: Tali's Arrival

Ben headed straight home and parked outside.

Once in, he called Lu-Ti.

"Hi, Lu-Ti. It's Ben... would you, er... may I have the pleasure.. er, if you'd like to, well, go to this party tonight at the Rising Sun?" he stammered. Drat! Asking beautiful girls out still didn't come easy, even ones who gave every appearance of liking him!

Re: Tali's Arrival

Tali climbed into the truck, smiling appreciatively at his attempt at easing the social situation with jokes.  She put the card with the numbers in her pocket, and listed and watched as they rolled over to the townhouses.  She smiled and nodded as he pointed out where people were staying, and smiled as he commented on Steele's residence location being far away.  After the truck stopped, she climbed out and nodded at Bronk.  She said, "Thank you for the help.  I will call soon I am thinking."  She smiled and then looked toward "Jack" as he approached and introduced himself.

As Bronk explained what she was doing here, Tali felt another set of butterflies enter her stomach.  She really, really hoped she didn't travel around the world just to end up on the drilling team.  Her smile never faltered as she quashed the inner turmoil and nodded as jack explained a few more things.  She smiled and raised her hand at Bronk as he retreated to do his own thing, and then returned her full attention to Jack.  Tali shook her head when asked if there were any other questions.  She smiled and said, "Thank you Jack.  Very nice for meeting you."

Tali waited to see if the man could think of anything else, and as he left she stood outside and looked around the area.  She smiled and looked up at the sky, squinting one eye as she looked toward the sun slowly setting in the west.  She entered her residence, shut the door and immediately saw her bags were piled neatly near the entrance.  She smiled and moved to her carry-on.  Tali opened one of the pockets on the side, and pulled a dark blue scarf from within it.  She draped the scarf over her head and around her throat.  She took a deep cleansing breath, faced the east, closed her eyes, and lowered her head slightly.  She remained standing for several minutes, rocking slightly back and forth, and saying nothing audible, though her lips moved almost constantly.  When she completed, she removed and carefully folded the scarf, before returning it to the pocket.

Tali moved around the interior of the townhouse to familiarize herself with its layout.  She was impressed by the comfort the home seemed to provide, and nodded.  She gathered her bags and took them to the bedroom to unpack.  She checked her watch on her right wrist and moved into the living room to wait for when she thought would be a good time to call Adam for that ride.

Re: Tali's Arrival

After Eve had submitted her resume, it was then forwarded through the forces that be and finally arriving upon Celeste's hands.  Celeste had done her research on Eve and realized she would be a great asset to the Dragonettes.  It might possibly alleviate some of the tension building with the dances that Celeste had imagine and how some of the other girls may have thought to be.  Either way, a return call and emial was then sent to Eve.

Welcome to New Jacksonville, home of the the Dragons and Dragonettes.  Celeste de Luca wishes to speak with you in person regarding you filling the position of Choreographer Assistant.  You will find included your flight ticket and all accomodations paid for upon your arrival at the air port.  Once in New Jacksonville, mention your name and a Dragon office representative will escort you and your company to the Dragon Campus.

Welcome Aboard!

Ms. de Luca and Dragonnette Staffing.

Reading the email Eve jumped for joy, shared the news with her sisters who were similarily excited Snatching up the hand held the trio bundled from their room to seek out their parents. Skimming the iphone her father gave Eve a hug congradulating her.

Ms. de Luca

Thank you for this opportunity I should like to mention that our family have just relocated to New Jacksonville, as such the inclusion of both Airline ticket and Hotel Accommodation will not be necessary. I look forward to the possibilities that present themselves and hope that I am found suitable for this auspiciously desirous position in the Dragonetts.

Re: Tali's Arrival

For the forthcoming interview Eve chose a long pale blue dress, complemented with a yellow belt and accessorised with a small purse and flat shoes. She was dropped off at the Stadium by her father who’d pick her up to either celebrate or commiserate after the interview. Approaching the Massive New Football Stadium butterflies flittered about her stomach prompting her to momentarily hesitate, fortunately she noticed vending machine. Acquiring a bottle of water Eve was able to calm herself with its cool fresh contents.

Entering the grounds she crossed to a ticketing booth flashed a warm smile at the desk attendant stated her name and purpose. Minutes later she was shown into a well furnished outer office where Ms. de Luca's executive assistant was busy tapping away on a keyboard. Who glanced up as she approached?

Ms Ultracurve I presume the EA prompted
Eve shot the EA a nervous smile Yes I've... Please take a seat Ms. de Luca will be with you shortly The EA cut her off pressing a communication device and informing Ms. de Luca of Eves arrival.

Re: Tali's Arrival

Celeste had gotten the announcement that Eve had arrived.  She was not certain about the girls name, but if her credentials checked out that could be overlooked.

She headed down the hallway towards one of the meeting room offices.  Celeste had been offered a desk and office, but she declined stating that her office was out on the field with the girls.

She'd not dressed up, but was more casual today.  Her typical bluejeans, nice button up shirt which was ironically Dragon green, and well her fashin statement high heels.  She had not intended on meeting up with Adam today or she wouldn't be wearing her heels.

As she came into the office all she had on her was her smartphone.  She had Eve's resume already displayed so they could get to business.

Good day Ms Eve, she said as she came in.  I hope you found your way here without much trouble.  I see that none of our staff came to get you.  You had your own way here?  So, I presume that you know what this meeting is about?

Celeste took a seat not behind the desk like a office clerk would, but on the couch behind where Eve was sitting.  Celeste was a cheerleader, not a pencil pusher.

Celeste nodded in response to Eve's question.  Yes and no, she said.  I've already taken a look at your previous dance videos.  Helps to know people in many places.

She got up and sat her phone down in front of Eve showing all the videos and information she'd gathered about her.

I know enough to let you know that you are already hired, she said.  This meeting is to see about your present living arrangements and any accomodations you need to begin.  A schedule for work, things of those nature.

In reply to Celeste (msg # 54):

Eve beamed at the news. My parents have purchased a house in the suburbs and we've only just recently moved in. So there’s no problem with accommodation. I'm part of a study group, with my sisters; we've been able to get 18 months ahead of established scholastic practices. We're waiting on the results from the Seniors Finals we took in Vermont last month. Apart from that I'm flexible regarding schedules, If your satisfied with my performance I'm hoping this can be reviewed in six months, and adjusted slightly, to allow for other plans. she informed in a excited verbose manner

In reply to Celeste (msg # 56):

We, My sisters, Teresa, Serena, and I had hoped to pursue Ballet regrettably our height has rendered that impossible. This move to New Jacksonville have decided to setup a Studio or such we can promote youth dance, irrespective of the style.  Teresa’s elegance with Latin and Jazz is simply to die for; whilst Serena's graced with such a panache for Swing and Hip-hop as I’ve got Vernacular covered and have dabbled with belly dance for about four years  So we’ve got most of the dance styles covered. Realising she was ranting a little she determined to curtail this...

Ms de Luca perhaps you could let me know what your expectations of me will be, and if there are any specific situations that I’ll need to be aware of or address. Additionally I took an opportunity to view the Dragonetts website noting specifically the style of uniform. I was wondering about the colouring and thought that something which mirrored a Dragon's scaly hide may be an interesting variation, composed of hews found in either a sunrise or sunset. she suggested eagerly.

Excellent!  Those are some good ideas, if you'd like to come up with some mock sketches or images, I'll gladly take a look at whatever ideas you have.  We normally go up into the mezzanine to eat breakfast around 7 am.  Finish that off with warm ups and weight training, I'm thinking sometime in the afternoon we can fit you in...say 4 days a week.  Coming with us on away games to get the feel for the team.  How does that sound?

Re: Tali's Arrival

Great! Celeste said.  She stood to shake the other girls hand.  Besides, having occupations outside of work is okay, just as long as it does not hinder your work here.  We've let go several because they took stock of their outside activies and let the team go to the wayside.

Celeste gave a firm look, but not intimidating.  We are a team first, individuals second.  We want to give New Jacksonville, the city, the fans, a team they deserve.

She slipped her phone into her back pocket.  As Dragonettes we often do benefits for special causes around the city.  Last one was visiting the chiildren's wing at the hospital, I went back personally and seen a few kids.  Some were still there, others had either moved on to heaven or back home to their families.

Be who you are, but be a part of the team, she said lastly.  If you wish to take a look around, please feel free.  Welcome aboard!
