Lindsey led them back to her vehicle and opened the back for them to grab the heavy bags then followed them back to wait.

"So, what was it, a big pep talk? orrr... a rant about how you're going to crush your enemies?" She made her voice deliberately deep for that last part.

  Adam  and Mik  got the  Backs  and  stacked them  with thiers.. the  drivers were starting to load the  people's  personal gear.

  yeah?...Rant.. for all intent and purpose  i told  them to ignore   Steele and not  let him  attack us from the Inside... The Bastard  called out the O-line?..no one calls out my O-line..Duke wasn't happy either... But, for any who were their, I made my point, its up to them to decide  how they take it.Those that weren't in the locker  room, didn't hear it, so they are on their own.

Lindsey gave a few big slow nods. "Oh him. I understand. I mean, I understand why you'd rant, but the rest, not so much. Okay, so he's throwing a temper tantrum. If he can't play he wants to make it as miserable for everyone else. I assume that was what you meant by saying 'Cindy'? Do you really think his antics could demoralize the team enough to risk the game, or even the 70 point spread? I'm going to write about what I saw. If his career is hurt, it's on him."

After Adam commented, Lindsey pulled him aside out of earshot of everyone else.

"By the way, we have a bone to pick. This... whatever... you have planned this weekend. I still don't know what it is other than it may cost you money and that Bob and I are somehow a part of it. I get that Yuto is your best friend and Lu-Ti is like your sister, so I don't necessarily have to be the first to know everything, but I do expect to be in the loop. Especially if I'm expected to be involved and I don't appreciate hearing about it only from a Lu-Ti meltdown at lunch. If you want friction between us, not communicating is one sure way to get it."

  Adam Looked around, and he said,I saw that  Promo  for the game, right?... now..think, real hard...the 'big Announcement' would have to  be Max Fline entering  Captain  Lighting   Universe.. a great time for a pslash like that be for  the new movie , 'Captain Lighting  vs  The Horde'.... that? and it sets up for the new season of the TV series..right..not to mention all those action figures  Video games, comics  books  T-shirts.. whatever?

 Now..... I have  one shot...one shot... to  torpedo this whole thing... I have to  do it Saturday..if  i wait  until after the game, it looks  like sour  grapes... but  i do it before they make thier 'big announcemt'.. I come off looking  good, , their announcement is ruined, and... i get some payback  as well... and yes?  its  going to cost me 5 Million dollars... LU-TI said  i  could leverage them and  get 2  Million if i let them 'release me'... I don't want the money..

 he checks around again, then adds,I liked the show, and the Movies.. i like the books and  the comics.. i have a couple of the video games... but i can't  even look at the TV shows, let alone the Movies...and i know damn well they won't  axe me yet, at least not while we're in the playoffs..i'm PR gold....and? Aggie is Lita's  Lover... I can't  see myself hopping into bed to  film a scene  with  Linda, or  Kiss her, or try to be a  sci-fi boyfriend.. I don't have the  talent  or the stomach for that... so...I want to announce
 i  am ending  my contract after  practice. tomorrow, i will set  it up as  a way to let my 'fans' know i won't be  in any   Captain Lighting   stuff... I'll tell them excatly why..and let  ..MY ... Fans , take it from there...two weeks of holidays  coming up..they have to find a new Auggie?..and get contracts and scripts  fixed up before they start filming
 in the Middle of January.. I think its gonna be neat!

 Heather pulled into the Complex and parked her car in the designated area. She then got her stuff and headed for the busses, she saw everyone there getting ready to board the busses, she looked for Nat as she went over to Adam, Lindsey and Mik. " Hi everyone anyone seen Nat yet, I got all my stuff and ready to kick some ass. How are all of you doing?"

Lindsey wasn't sure how to respond to Adam's explanation. On the one hand, she was still feeling the frustration from earlier, on the other she completely understood why he wanted to do what he had in mind. His explanation for why he waited to fill her in was weak. Even if he didn't want to disturb her interview, she was alone when he first came in to the den. It's possible the conversations with Yuto were still ongoing by text when Rock joined her, but that doesn't explain why she had to pull him aside and ask about it. But standing in the parking lot waiting for a bus to put them on a plane was not the time to have that discussion.

Putting aside her simmer, Lindsey focused on the plan. When Bill showed her the promo, neither of them could figure out what the play was, or even the score. Adam seemed to think Linda was going to announce Max's new character as Adam's replacement. If that was it, then parts of that promo still made no sense. What did any of that have to do with the Dragons football team's win or loss, and what role could Lana have in any of it. It was all just so absurd.

However, they already knew that Adam's role in the show was sidelined, and that his contract was a ticking time bomb. He needed to exit pretty much immediately if he didn't want to face a law suit. Him announcing his exit first could derail any shenanigans they had planned and have the added benefit of throwing Linda's whole operation into a tailspin. Was it petty? Oh yes. But Lindsey was just fine with some petty jabs when it came to Linda.

On the production side of it, EG wold run it. No matter how it was sliced, this was a massive scoop and there was no way he would want to be second. Normally, Lindsey would worry about the conflict of interest with her interviewing Adam about anything in his personal life, but this was different. Not from an ethical point of view but for her personally and for the entertainment impact. Seeing Lindsey and Adam together on-screen was long overdue, and the both of them torpedoing Linda wouldn't just be satisfying for her. It would be gobbled up by the millions of fans and entertainment junkies currently watching the public romance drama unfolding between Ad, Lindsey and the other Ls.

The bottom line. Should Adam do it? Yes. Should Lindsey participate? Hell yes. Was Adam completely exonerated? Nope, to be continued.

"Okay" she raised a finger. "We still have a lot to talk about later, but as for your plan, yes. I'm in. Do you want to do the interview live or tape it ahead of time?"

After Adam answered her with his details, Lindsey fired off the texts.

EG: CONFIDENTIAL: I have a big scoop RE Adam and his gig on Captain Lighting. Need it to air tomorrow afternoon. Give me a time slot

Cody (Lindsey's younger brother): Hey C. I have a job/favor for you. Get online, go to your usual stores, whatever. I need you to buy up some Captain Lighting action figures of Aggie (Adam's character). Get whatever you can find, especially anything already collectible. I'll pay you back for whatever you get. Do it ASAP

"My younger brother Cody collects that stuff. I put him on it. You can sign a bunch of them and maybe we can create a new demand trend."

 Adam Grinned, He  shook his head,Live..but get EG to tape it  for archives  so they can run it on late nigh/early morning... when he first airs  it?.. the Big Guns  will be  asking for the   upload..

About the bus seating, Lindsey tossed her head mulling it over. "Hmmm, yeah. You're right. This is a work trip. I should sit with Bill and Bob."

Just as they were settling the seating arrangements, it seemed like everyone arrived at once. Sims came in making sure everyone knew the rules. No doubt he's repeat that again when they were on the plane and when they off-boarded at the hotel. Lu-Ti came by still wanting to discuss the stunt, but wasn't happy with Adam's response. Then Sims followed up the discussion, and Adam went into his strategy.

Sims asked Lindsey her take. "I think I have to agree. They're going figure out the most painful way that can to screw Adam. The longer this goes on the more opportunity for them to cause trouble. I think they'll also go out of their way to try and break us up too. And they'll have plenty of opportunity. Watching Adam be paraded around with Linda and Lana on his arms, kissing Linda on film, maybe be in bed with her acting like he loved her... Nope. Not interest in seeing any of that. Dignity might have a price, but it has be more than two to five million dollars." She shook head vigorously. "As for the mess? Has it been anything but a mess since this broke? I can handle anything that falls out of it."

  Adam Nodded ,Your  Call on the seats...

 Sims listened  to Lindsey,alright?  Good Luck.. but  when that torpedo hits, , watch out  for the shrapnel..

 people  piled aboard the Buses, when all was ready ,they got on the highway for the  10 minute drive to  Amota International.

 Then Coach Sims said to mount up, she kissed Nat goodbye and then went onto the first bus with the rest of the players.

Rock observed the arrivals and then waited for people to start boarding the buses. Seemed like all the players were on the same bus, so he waited for the others to get on and then made his way up the stairs and looked around for a spot. It still felt like the first day at a new school.

He grabbed one of the remaining open seats and waited for the bus to start moving.

Monday after Titans 1st season, Dec.

Ben arrived and went down to the swimming pool for a good swim. He ckecled the time... he had at least half an hour before he needed to leave for Amota Med, so he could enjoy himself. The place was deserted, nobody was around down here.

When he was done, he climbed out, showered and dressed. Dragons hoodie and black jeans. Then went out to the truck to drive over to the hospital.

  Eva  had  Tracy   go through range of Motion she shook her head, I almost Killed Sims  for putting you out there for  the Onside Kick... and you kicked alot more the   one or two kicks!... today. take it  easy. maybe  some tub time... tomorrow   well go through some things  to  make sure you  aren't going to tear something.

 Heather listened and defended her Coach," Doc I asked Coach to send me in for the On-side kick I thought they wouldn't expect that type of kick with me on the field and it almost worked. Yes but I felt great but I will take it easy." Heather will go do tub time until it was time for her to leave to head to Amota Med she didnt want to miss this one with Cindy going there today.

 Heather finished her tub and exercises and still had plenty of time to get dressed and get to Amota Med early. Heather took down all instructions and said," Thank you Doc, thanks Tracy you two are miracle workers." Heather then dressed in a Dragon's T-shirt with her number 12 on the back and shorts. She then headed out to her car.

 Heather walked by the guards, smiled and said," Thank guys I know it is sucky work but makes me feel fine going to my car, thanks guys." Heather got into her car, she texted Nat to see if she was there or on her way to Amota Med. Heather drove her cool colored convertible towards Amota Med.
