The woman was beside her self. The  tears  were   streaming   by all that was happening.

 Link looked at  heather, to say he  was still astounded  would be  an understatement..in a squeaky , nervous  Voice.. he pointed to the Visor..

 Can..Can you...sign  that  for ...my Mommy?... she looks   pretty when she wears   things like that, with a Poney  tail....

 he  Looked at the   Dragon 'Flame Fanner", then Looked up  at heather, his ehad shaking back and forth..I never  had  a Flame Fanner..

 Heather smiled at Cissy, then signed the visor for his Mom, then got his name and signed the towel for him. Then she said, "This is all I have right now, But hold on." Heather hands Cissy a piece of paper, and adds," Please put your name, number and address and I will get you a signed jersey and a signed cap how does that sound Link?"

  I can't thank you all enough!..I just wanted Link to see  Adam, and  maybe sign  the Picture  Link had from the newspaper?..but he..he sent us in here.and   paid for dinner..and  Mr Hope..and  You.... she    was  fighting hard  , not  to cry,even as she smiled.

 Link looked  confused....You gave us  bunches of stuff?...maybe there are some other  little kids that need it?

  Cissy  wrote out their  address, it was in  the older section of New  Jack where the cheaper   apeatments  were.

 Heather smiled and replied to Cissy," It is my pleasure to help out our loyal fans. We all just want our fans to have the best." She smiled and then responded to Link," Yes you did, yes I will donate 12 signed Jersey's to the children's hospital this weekend how does that sound Link. Who is your favorite player?"

 Heatehr took her address and smiled at her.

Bronko followed Heather over to the mother and child and stood behind her, still towering a bit.  He didn't have anything he could give them at the moment, but that is an oversight he would correct in the future.  He smiled and said nothing.  He wasn't about to steal her moment.

 he gave   2  exaggerated  nods..that sounds  pretty good.... I like Adam..he's little , like me...

Cissy   gave a  bit  of a laugh as she   finally controlled herself.

"Ok sounds good I will get you a signed Jersey by him then. You have a good dinner, and make sure you take some home ok."

 Heather smiled and saw that Bronko followed her over, She smiled and then smiled at Cissy and said," You finish your meals, and have a good evening, and you are going to the game right. Also this is a new player Bronko he is a linebacker, welcome him to the Dragons."

 Heather will let them respond to Bronko and move away smiling at Cissy and Link.

     Cissy and   Link  wave to Bronko  and say hi.you are pretty big, Huh?..I'm only little... he munched another  fry.

 Cissy gasped as she looked at the  envelope...Ms  Montomery!..we.. we can't take this much!

Bronko knelt down and put his hand out for a handshake.  "I guess I am pretty big, but you will get bigger too.  Make sure you work out as you grow."  He looked at the mom and said, "Take the money.  We appreciate our fans and know we would never have this without them.  Look at is as returning the love."

 Heather smiled and replied," Yes what Bronko said, see he is a true Dragon already. Have a great night and a Merry Christmas." Cissy knew Heather was not going to take the money back, she then walked back to her table the waitress brought out hot burgers perfectly cooked for them as Heather sat down. She gave Link a wave as she sat back down to eat, and said to the waitresses," Oh thank you for that, that was something I had to do, want all our fans to have a Merry Christmas."

 Heather smiled and asked," May I have another soda please."

After a pleasant evening and dinner with Heather, Bronko asked, "Are you heading back towards the Townhouses?  Adam drove me over, but he has already left.  Or, I can get a taxi."

 Heather smiled as she finished up her dinner and said," Yes I am I can give you a ride back no problem, what ae friends and teammates for right." Heather paid and gave a large tip.

"Thanks, I appreciate it."  Bronko enjoyed the ride back, since Heather was good company.

 Heather smiled and replied," Your are very welcome, so lets get in before it gets too late dont want to miss curfew." Heather then went out to her amazing convertible, and then drove home to the condos.

Rock opened his mouth a couple times to respond, but seemed briefly at a loss for words. "Uh, yeah, I do have a curfew, yeah. I guess I can just call a car and get a ride if you're good." Rock pulled out his phone and checked how long a ride share would be. Not surprisingly, it would be more than a few minutes. Which wasn't really a problem as that would still get him home before curfew.

In reply to Rock Woodson (msg # 918):

Rock's reaction was confusing. Sage thought that maybe wires were getting crossed. She couldn't tell of he was being unusually coy, or if he was really just offering to save her from a DUI.

"I'm so sorry." Or maybe there was something else in his mind. "Maybe three drinks is too many after all. I just realized that you don't have a car. Can I give you a ride to... um, wherever you need to go?"

Rock nodded and put away his phone. "Very kind of you. The Dragon Complex where most of the players are housed is pretty close to here, so it won't really be out of your way."

As Rock put away his phone, Sage took out hers. Wrapping an arm around Rock's shoulders she pulled him in for a selfie. She took a few shots each with a different expression, including a couple puckers and one kissing Rock on the cheek. She sent that and the one with Adam and Lacy, and the one with the defensive players to Lindsey.

"Okay, let's go then." She finished her last drink. "On the way, you can tell me why the Dragons players are housed in a complex. Do you guys not believe in houses or apartments? I'm getting a Scientology vibe here." She laughed as she headed for the door.

The DB gladly joined in some pictures with Sage, hamming it up when it seemed appropriate, or just looking happy and handsome when that was appropriate.

Rock chuckled at the question as he gestured toward the exit for Sage to slightly precede him in that direction. He slipped his Dragon-green jacket back on from where he'd settled it on the back of his chair. "Seems like the furthest thing from, really. People would actually have to talk to you in order to try to get you to join a cult. But maybe the lack of social interaction is just because guys are concentrating on football." He shrugged as they headed to the coat check.

Rock held Sage's coat for her to slip into the sleeves before continuing his response to her question. "Anyway, I think the general idea is good, as it keeps all the players close to the practice field and the cafeteria. It allows the team to provide players with proper nutritional choices at all times, injury treatment is pleasantly close to 'home' and you don't even need a car to get to work. Just step outside and whistle and a golf cart shows up to take you to the field."

As they found Sage's car, Rock paused to open the door for her, closing it behind the actress once she'd settled in. He found his way to the other side, then continued providing thoughts on the complex. "Gym is also nice and close, which includes a pool, among other things. So I think the idea is to eliminate barriers to doing our jobs well, which includes staying in tip-top shape, rehabbing injuries, and bonding as a team. The last of those has been a bit lacking over the last week or so, but again - I came in late so perhaps there's a LOT more of that during the off-season, pre-season, and September weeks."

Rock was a perfect gentleman by opening the door for Sage when they reached her car. She wasn't expecting him to do that, but she wasn't at all surprised. She buckled in as he went around and took the passenger side before finishing his defense of the Dragons living compound.

"You know that sounds all very rational." she pulled out of her spot and out towards the highway "But still a little weird. Do you at least get a townhouse to yourself or do you have to share?"

"I guess it's like college in a way. But you guys are all grown men. What do you do if you want to bring a date home?" She turned out onto the highway in the direction of the stadium.

"So you went to Auburn I heard. And Lindsey is up reporting on your alma mater's game? She said your brother is playing.So will your parents be there or or here this weekend?"

Rock placed his right hand on top of his left, both of them flat, as he tried to explain the townhouse situation. "It's two levels, with bedrooms split. So when my roommate is gone for the night, it's reasonably private because he's upstairs?" He shrugged. "Kind of hard to explain without a visual, I should probably just show you when we get there. It's not like there is much of a walk from the parking. Each townhouse has its own parking right out in front of the building."

He nodded at her comment on the game. "Yes, Lindsey and Max are up in Indy for the Auburn/USC game. My parents and my sisters, too. They will all fly down after the game so they can be here for the Dragons' game on Sunday. Will you be in the owners' box on Sunday?"

Sage continued toward the Stadium. She heard Rock say that the townhouses were golfcart distance from the stadium, so that's where she headed. They were still about 5 minutes away. "Yeah. I'll be in the owner's box with Lindsey's entire family. So i guess we'll all meet. That should be an interesting conversation. Hi, I'm Sage, I danced with Rock one night. Nice to meet you." She laughed. "Nope. I'll just introduce myself as Lindsey's friend."

Rock chuckled at Sage's projected introduction. "How about - 'Hi, I'm Sage Sinclair. You may remember me from such Hallmark Classics as The Lost Wife's Life or Christmas Masquerade. Here's my business card if you want to get in touch.' Heh."

He paused. "No? Yes? I think it'd be brilliant." He pointed at the upcoming turn. "Left here, then a quick right after the strip mall."

Sage made the maneuvers Rock pointed out. "I know people who are just like that." She mocked a starlets airy voice. "Oh, I 'm Francesca Voltaire Marguarite. You obviously know my great film titles. Of course you want my autograph." She laughed as she pulled into the townhouse parking lot, slowing for the guard house.

After rolling down her window, she stopped for the guard. "Hi, I'm just dropping off Rock Woodson." She smiled at the guard

The guard looked through. When he saw Rock he waved them through.

"Well that was easy. Where to now?"

Rock smiled and waved at the guard, then sat back as they moved through. "Up here, take a left and go along the row of townhouses. I'm down a ways, but it'll be number thirty-two."
