been low 90's all week but humidity in the high 60% very muggy and nasty, they are doing rolling blackouts to save energy, pretty bad up here the heat is o it's the damn humidity that sucks and frizzes my hair lol

Despite our reputation for talking about the weather all the time, the Brits are rubbish at coping with it. Cannot handle a few flakes of snow, cannot handle a rainstorm, cannot cope with high winds... now cannot cope with a couple of warm days either.

Here in SoCal we generally don't talk about the weather, but we (as a whole) also cannot handle snow, rain, wind, or triple-digit heat.

 Here in New England we seem to be able to handle it all, blizzard snow, heavy rains, high wind we do ok up here it is the heat we suck at give us a blizzard and we are good lol

 they have meme about PA..hwo we handle the snow..Like a guy with no shirt on his deck with 3 feet of snow asking  folks  how they want thier burgers.

  My oldest, who lives back here  now..was working in SC... it snowed a bit,,i saw the pics on FB, a  mailtruck slid of the   road..you could still see  grass !

  they were calling off schools and stuff..my daughter went into work ( a COTA)..the other ladies  ran out of the Building.. 'Oh My..why would you come out in this  snow!"

 My daughter said  " Snow?..In PA we call this frost!"

 Yeah in New England call that shit..... Less than 6 inches we dont really do shit over 6 then we have to do shit. lol

Personally I do not do well in the cold. I can handle the heat just fine.

I had arguements  with customers over the  years..They would comp0lain about how hot it is, and i would say, " think about January or febuary..this won't seem so bad! "

 they would say.. " you an always  put  more clothes on, but  you can only take so many clothes off!"

 In the  end, i would win by saying  "..when its hot like this?..My Oil furnace doesn't come on!"

Ok whoever is doing the bad rolls for the special teams needs to stop, that is the only place we are getting our asses kicked. Come on guys they can't get any more points.

  ::chuckles:;  this is  nuts..right? I eman. the rolls  just keep on coming..  The Game has a mind of its own right now.

I might have  told this story  years ago?... But when I coached little kids. we were  way ahead of the curve...Little league Baseball coaches got to coach by kissing ass   , cutting grass linign fields..and they  would get 'special draft picks'..all kids of crap like that.

 when the  league starter I was playign int he Adult league  and   Sunday Pick up games ( also around there is when i had  my FA tryouts  with  The  1st Maulers  and the   1st Arena league  Gladiators

 i got  pulled in as  an offcier of the league ( much to my late wife's chagrin ).. and i laid  down the law  about  not  catering to coaches.. i set up the draft, we had the trayouts..and   the rest is history...

 anyway.. one year( this was a year before  My daughter would play for me) there was this  Gril who played in the Minors..she was tough and seem to listen well..her  caoches  treated her like baggage.

 fast forward.. we're darting ( i always coached in the Major League) we had to ref  our opposite  divisons, so we get to see this kids play... I told the other  guy, we shoudl draft her....

well..at the end of the draft, we  sit around  and Pick players.just like a real draft.. the Girl was getting passed on, and i had it figured out we could get her in one of the last two rounds  I was wrong... another Coach  draf6ed her( his HC wasn't there)..oh well? right?

 the next coaches meeting the HC wanted to cut her ( his name was Don too ) 'Too ;little to play ect ect..

 I said 'we;ll take her, but you have to take one of our lst two picks...I was secretary,  and i had all the charts ect ect... he did..we lucked out, he took a kid  who parents were real dicks..and   now he had them//

 I played her  at OLB  and WR..she did all the drills, never  missed a practice  and was one of the fastest players i had... my kicks  could play a rotating  Defense..other guys couldn't get their kids to line up right!

 so? we're in the Playoffs...last game before SB for us...we are wining  13-6  and they have the   ball I notice they  kept sending the  one guys kid out in the flat, and I told the Defense to rotate to that side. But the  Girl would fake coming off the Corner  and drop into the Flat... she intercepted the ball and   returned it to the one...  after the play I yelled across the field.." Hey Don!..Is she too Small now?" we   score then next play  and won21-6..she caught the 2 pt pass!

 We used  my rotating Defense in the Adult league, and  only lost one game that year.::chuckles::  fond memories.
