Heather tried to react and then Santos's hands wear holding the bar and his hands where on her chest. Heather was fine, he did cushion the fall, it was a no biggie. " Thank you, Santos, I am going to hit the treadmill, thank you for the help." Heather smiled and then headed for the treadmill, once there she began running working out her powerful legs.

  Santos looked  relieved ..still a bit embarrassed.

 When heather  went to  run, he  sat  back  down toweling off his face, and giving it a sake. Tibbs  was  chuckling.

  It was  now  close to  4, the Dragonettes  were leaving the field. .. the   stadium folks  were  setting things up  for  the dragon Practice  tomorrow.

  the carts  had dummies set  on them and  parked in the  tunnel,  ready to  be  driven out and  set up   back tunnel doors  looked up, the only way in or  out  would be the main gate.

 .  Players  were wipign  down equipment  and  racking the  plates, so they could go take a shower and go home

 Heather finished up her workout and then headed for the Lockeroom to shower and change. Heather smiled and waved at the guys and said to Santos," Thank you for the help." Heather gave him a kiss on the cheek and then she walked out to the Lockeroom where she got changed and jumped into the shower. When she was done she fried off then got dressed, checked her phone and headed up to meet Megan.

  megan was  coming out of the lockers   rooms  as well...lets go  to eat somewhere.. I don't feel like cooking right now?//its
 6 or so?  we  go to your place to relax..tomorrow is  practice  for you.

Heather smiled and replied,Yes let's go get something and head to my place, that sounds great Heather got her gear and followed Megan to her car.

  Megan   got the car started,.. she  flipped through her Phone... well?   there   are two Big King Burgers  close  by.. or there is  a decent  Dining place near here. we're dressed ok for that, we're not trying to pick anyone up?.... or we  could  stop at the Mall  Grab chinese to take back to yur place..

 Heater smiled and replied," Hmm lets try the decent dining place ok Megan, then head back to my place and relax for the evening, like you said practice tomorrow."

 Megan  drove off , they  went  to the Northeast alonf the  beach  road.  a brightly light  place on beach side of the  road, was a Building that looked  like a  sailing ship.. the Bright light  said  ' Holy Ship! seafood  and  barbe que "

 This place is  only  3 years old,  it was built  by  people who were accepted into  the Amota's  'Business boost' program..its   a popular place. especially in the summer.

From Meetings

After a quick change, Lindsey and Mindy hit the empty gym. She had a routine. Stretch, calisthenics, then maybe weights then cardio. Since Mindy had to get out to the stands this would be a shorter workout, so she would probably skip the weights and shorten the cardio. Heading over to the open floor, she started with her splits as usual.


"So, I don't think we should expect any big news coming out of the meetings. What we saw today was probably as exciting as it's going to get. Are you going to the Amota party tonight? Assuming I'm invited, I'll be going."

 Mindy  giggles,we're all invited.. Dragon Family..and? y9u can bring a  +1.... Just saying

 he head  tilted back and forth as she  sipped from a  Blue  Powerade,   I may get some  sound bites  from the   Olympian folks , just to add to the show.

 she frowns...speaking  of shows...  our  'buddy' Lacy?  she is having an Interview  with  James Steele on Fux  network.. Its going to be on tomorrow..form Miami?  But..she has to be out of the city, before  The Dragons  com down, because of  a Restraining Order Lu-ti smacked her with..Steele?   we'll have to see what he does, but he might screw himself over as far as  FA moment . And ?  Steele has to kiss Yuto's  ass to get off the suspension list.

A dark cloud drifted over Lindsey's head at the mention of Lacy. "Fuck her. I mean, why does anyone want to hear what she has to say?" She glowered for a moment, switching her stretch. "Although, I have to admit, I'm probably going to watch it. You and I have a date. Maybe we can watch it together over wine. I'll make popcorn and hide anything of weight so I don't smash the television. I'm not a Jim Steele fan, but I don't despise him like I do... her."

Lindsey laughed, even blushed. "Plus one? Like who would I bring? You're already going with Mik, and Sage is going with Adam. I mean, you say that like you have someone in mind."

 Mindy  frowned in agreement ,yeah?   She... to me? Is  just as  bad , if not worse then Linda.... Linda  did it  for her own twisted  reasons.. lacy could have stopped it..but she egged it on. she waved her  hand.

 Well?   Carl, at the Gate? he  would be happy to come..Higgins is  a Nic guy, but he may be too shy for you though?

Lindsey stopped, crossing her arms as she stared at Mindy. "The gate guard. Carl? And... Higgins? So, I should go up to Carl, out of the blue - and ask him to be my date for the party at the Amotas?" There was something fishy about the sound of all this.

"You're kidding me, right? After all those conversations where you pointedly said you would only ever consider football players, you're suggesting I plus one the security guard? What's really going on here?"

  Mindy looked up with the air of a snob,Oh?  Excuse  me? she  sniffed  and  sipped her drink like it was wine,Heavans  forbid! , you would be  seen with...a...a... working class person?

   Mindy   turned and  said,you don't need anyone to go there..right? Buutttt... If you would show up...with a someone.... she shrugged.

"Ha ha." Lindsey went back to her stretching. "What? I'm not allowed to have standards? Besides, I didn't say I wouldn't go with him. I don't even know him. What I asked was where this was coming from. I mean, I figured you were going to say Santos or Sal, or maybe even White. I mean, I watched on more than one occasion as you blew off hot guy after hot guy. Your words. 'Are you serious? Do you see the guys I work with?'. I wouldn't turn my nose up at a guard. I mean, not these guards. They're all ex military, special forces kinds of guys. But you know me. Carl would have to ask me."

"Anyway, I was planning on going alone. If I'm going to meet Olympic athletes while single, why would I bring a date? Especially a someone that hasn't asked me. Has never even shown an interest. So, back at you. What's your angle here? Maybe to make Wade jealous?"

  Me ?  I'm just saying. But that's   not a bad  idea , I men, you'd have a buffet, there..  couple Africans, some  Asians,  Little Tiny Island people There might be a Russian in there. I wouldn't bother  with him though...yeah? Go alone..much better to  cruise  the crowd  and all that.

Lindsey's eyes lit up. "Oh yeah, a big African. That should raise... something. I'm not so sure about the tiny island people, but who knows, mayb they have some compensating attributes?" She blushed through he smirk.

Having finished her splits, she skipped the bench stretches and went to her rope jumping.

"Yeah, I mean, it's going to be a busy night before that anyway. We have the BKB commercial to shoot before that. And Chloe will be there, so there's no way we don't linger at least, if not go grab a quick drink. Now Sage and I will have to cut whatever time to make sure we can get to the Amotas' on time."

   yeah..well. it s starts  at  8?  you guys  should be  down with the shooting  by 6..right>  if they start at 4?,maybe sooner depending on how many takes  you need?... Adam  can show up. You guys can come in late if needs be.. I talked to a woman who is doing     three  jumps and the Polevault.. she is very good.. but honestly..i don['t know how she'll  stack up against the Big Guns.  That's  what are  the   elimination things
 are for,

"Yeah. The first one we did on one take. Sage and I just improv-ed. I already told Harley what to expect. She's an accomplished actress and from what I can tell, just as good a flirt as I am, so maybe we'll wrap it quickly. But yeah, there's a good point. orato won't start anything big until Adam is there, and Adam won't show up without Sage. If she's with me, then we'll all show up together."

"I haven't met any of them yet. Well, that's not true. I did meet some Olympian guy last week when I did the Pirate Cruise shoot. We were having fun at the ships club. He asked me to dance. He was gorgeous, but I kind of blew him off. He danced okay, but I mean, we barely got into the dance before he asked me to hang with him the rest of the night with that line: 'see where the night takes us'. I was like, ugh! Really!? He didn't even tell me his name before dropping that on me. I didn't know he was an Olympian until later when I saw him heading to one of the busses for the village. Honestly, it might have tilted me in his favor. I mean, at least I might not have told him to hit the trail so quickly."

  Mindy just waves her hand back and forth.yeah..well..  everyoe navigates the  sea thier own way.   I wnder how many great guys you passed up, ebcause they might have been  respectful or Shy? and how many guys  you  hoked up with, who might have  ended up as 'Steele like"

 Got   burned one  time by a guy like that when i was 17 or so.. I don't gibe in, and that's when i knew what he was about.. so , yeah, to the  9 hells with those guys.

 so?  what to wear, I was leaning to just wearing this?  its good enough  for the studio, it should be good enough  for  a casual  diner

It's happened before, and it'll probably happen again before I get married. A one night stand is about the excitement. Some of those guys are charming and exciting. And if it's just two ships in the night, who cares what they're really like? My body isn't a prize for the 'worthy'. It's not a crime to sleep with someone who turns out to be a jerk. If they treat me the way I want to be treated, that's what I care about. "Now, if it's a real relationship, then I do care what kind of man they are. But no one is perfect. Adam is a good guy, but he can be horrible too. Tyler was downright cold to the people he thought wronged him, and he could hold a grudge for a long time. I'm sure Wade has a dark side, but I haven't seen it yet. "Yeah, Sims said casual. That means casual to me. So, jeans and a blouse, or work clothes. I wouldn't want to overdress. Maybe a day skirt and matching jacket with a snug top. Low heels. I wouldn't stress over it. You have a date. I'll be fishing."

 Mindy Sighs,speaking of  Fishing, I have to Go out there  and   face the  neophytes who are  hanging around  our  stadium. I'm Hoping most of them Chase  after  Jill, she is a bit hotter, and a National Name..so that might help.

 ..as  for you fishing?  You have the Bailt, it  depends  if you'll troll, or  if  spin cast...

After Mindy left, Lindsey decided to go a bit longer on the cardio. Mindy's parting words about trolling or spin casting stuck in her head. Try as she might, she couldn't definitively figure out what she meant by it. It was like the time she pours dirt in her wine. Lindsey completely misread Mindy's meaning. Now she wrestled with the nature of fishing styles as a metaphor to flirting.

Thirty minutes later, Lindsey's brain was just as exhausted as her body. Wiping the misty layer of sweat with her towel, she left for the showers so she could join Mindy in the stands.
