Zob then stood up he had his coms on mute as he spoke to the tech but ended the call when it was over, "Can you do me a favor have somebody contact me when Frakas is stable or in the untimely event he doesn't make it i would greatly appreciate it" once that was over he returned to Orria and gave a smile and held out his hand, "Told you dads gonna be alright we better get back out to Beth ill hang out with you while you work"

   Stefi  checked in on frakas and Giles  again... she  entered the room with   Harry in, and called for a Guardian.

 Stefi   checked   Giles and Frakas .. she  came into   Harry's  room , checking  her   scans  and  her  limbs , They were still in bad shame, but   color  was slowly  returning, and  the swellign was  down by Half.

    Stefi set  the   machines to  alert her when  Harry  would wake,  she went down the line , ince more to check on other  wounded, and then into her office.

 Val was   still  having  her help replicate the anti-venom.. when the   sac was  emptied, then began to work on a synthetic

  Sendign a COM  down to  Henry,  she  asked him to encourage people to harvest Venom Sacs , so they would be able to produce the more, powerful version.

an LT came into the room for  Stefi to  sign off on some treatments... He nodded to   Harry's  sleeping form.what's going to happen with this one?

 I don't know...it won't be good?, its  also going to tighten the screws  down on other folks we had trouble with, so this doesn't happen again.. it doesn't matter much right now, When the  Admiral returns, they'll decide..

As if perhaps on cue, Stefi got an incoming message on her COM from one of the latest additions to the Hermes' Med-team.    (On the COM; not here in person)

Whether she got Stefi on the line, or was shunted to voicemail, Alison said:  "Stefi, this is Dr. Verault.   Do me a favor, if you would?  Let me know if Ensign Lynch makes it out of Med Tech with anything less severe than a court-martial or a deep-space discharge? If they do decide to keep her, I'm going to do my best to have something at least vaguely like an intervention with her, when she's awake and back in her quarters."   

   Stefi answered, I can't promise  anything.... The Admiral will , no doubt, make a ruling... and no ones  going to agrue..... if the LC gets there first, well.. I sure as the 9 hells won't stop him from doing what he  thinks is right.

"Oh, believe me, I understand, Stefi.  That's why I say, 'if.' Both the Admiral and the LC are well entitled to rule as they see fit on this.  But, if that ruling doesn't send Ensign Lynch straight to the brig, or on a happy walk down the high road, then I do intend to give it a shot."   

     Stefi returned to  check for  any  movement  and such.We';ll have to send her to  a Med tech ship...But I need the Admiral's OK for that..I already asked  Admiral hennings. he won't  sign off...

"I see. Perhaps I'll make a request myself, just for kicks.  Though...I completely grasp why the admiral refused, and would've made the same call, were I in his shoes." 

Most probably, Lynch was as much of a lost cause as an unarmed, crippled Angel lying in a back alley on a Demon homeworld.  And, she already had a growing list of profiles to review prior to conducting introductory sessions.  Still, there was that persistent, niggling thought: Maybe I can help her...

  There was some fussing going  on around  the other  Rooms.  Stefi stepped  in  and Looked... Both  Giles and  Frakas were sitting up and asking to be let out of the  beds.

  Stefi shook her head...not  just yet, boys? We have  a few hours before  the rest get back..once they get back, i'll check you over to see  if you can make the  After  PArty

 Lizzy walked into Med Tech shortly after Shadow and asked," Excuse me can someone tell me how Harry is doing and where is she and can she have visitors?" She watched Shadow to to Giles room and then go see Frakas, and then went to aother room with a Guardian out front, she thought that was probably Harry's room but she waited for permission before she headed that way.

  The Desk Med tech gave  Lizzy a shrug.Lynch is  down at the end of the  recovery room corridor..you can go  down?..but she's  not  leaving that room, unless its  in  zip ties.

 Lizzy smiled and replied bubbly," Thank you very much." Lizzy knew Harry had fucked up if they wouldnt let her leave without zip ties, this was bad. Lizzy went to Harry's room and looked in to see if Harry was awake and to see how she was.

 Lizzy walked into Harry's room, she was sleeping and Lizzy didnt want to wake her. Lizzy looked at her and she didnt look good, Lizzy wasnt sure exactly what happened but from what she heard Harry caused all of it, and almost got good people killed.

 Lizzy looked at her friend, and at one time lover, and went through what had happened to her since they met. Harry had gone straight downhill since she broke things off. The big problem is Harry took no responsibility for her fall and along the way almost got some really good people killed. Lizzy found something to write on and write with and wrote a note for Harry.

 Note to Harry," Harry I don't know what happened, and if you really want to fight back, I will help you, but you need to take full responsibility of all your actions. You will always have a special place in my heart, good luck and if you ready want help call me." Lizzy folded up the nots and placed it in Harry's hand.

 Lizzy then gave Harry a kiss on the head and then walked out of the room and headed for the Rec dec for the After Party.

Having booked an appropriate amount of time in one of the rooms, Alison set about inspecting and prepping the equipment prior to Samantha's arrival.

From the sheath-like cylinder at her waist, she withdrew her furled up vidboard, and unrolled it.   Entering her ID and passcode, and syncing it with the system she would be using for this procedure.

Light pulsed beneath her fingertips, as she touched here and there, performing what for her was very routine initializing of the system.   She'd not used this one before, but it was quite similar to other analyzers with which she had experience.

She also made sure the Gal-Net gateway was working, and the link properly encrypted, since she might need to reference one or more databases out on the net.

Alison held a strong interest in both Angelic and Demonic cultures...as well as of course the psychology of both races, and the ways in which their minds differed from human kind.   A possible hybrid was, naturally, of professional interest.

And, she was sure Sam would only be helped by coming to know herself a bit better.

 Sam walked into Med Tech and went to the room Alison had comm'd her. Sam walked into the room and said," Hello Dr. I hope this wont take too long but I would like to know anything about my past and heritage I can." Sam stood waiting to be told what she had too do next.

Alison smiled at the petite Comm officer, "Hello Samantha. No, it won't take long.  Modern analyzers, such as the one we're using here, work pretty quickly. Please, have a seat."

After, she did a final calibration, before handing Sam a semi-translucent, softly glowing disc. "Just hold it in the palm of you hand.  Firmly, but not too tight, and breathe evenly.  That's all you need to do.  You won't feel anything, and I'll let you know when it's through, and what we've found." 

Alison began the process --  then folded her arms, tilted her head slightly, watching the indicators, as Sam's DNA was mapped.  Occasionally, she made an adjustment on her vidboard, and then continued to watching.

Once the results began to come in...Alison smiled faintly, seeing she'd been right.  But she awaited the full result, before speaking:

"Well, how does it feel to be part Angel?  Because you definitely are.   Your height makes it deceptive; but you can still see it in your features, and your eyes."

"One of your grandparents, most likely your mom's side, was a Blue Moon Angel.  Of the lineage found on Bura.   And as for your other genes, they fit the general profile of the humans who came to Bura aboard the Fuji."     Alison frowned a bit.

"I was hoping we might pin it down further, and come up with a matching family tree.  But, that's not in the cards, I'm afraid."

 Sam took a seat and listened to Alison explain what she had to do. When it was time Sam squeezed it firmly but not tight and breathed evenly. Sam saw Alison's look which to her meant Alison was right about her being part Angel. " Ok Doc let's do this."

 Sam listened to Alison's results that she is part Burin Moon Angel. Sam fell silent and just listened and finally answered when Alison was done," Oh wow really, I am part Angel maybe I was taken from Bura and found my way back there because of my lineage? That is amazing at least I know a little bit about my past thank you Doc."

 Sam just smiled and said," Well that is more than I expected, I thought Angels where taller and I am so short, oh yes I have been told I have gorgeous eyes. Thank you Doc is there anything else you wanted to do?"

Alison smiled, "You're very welcome.  I'm glad we at least learned this much --  and knowing which planet you originate from, you may, one day, be able to find some clues about your family." 

It also partly explained why the Demons had such cruelty toward her.   But Alison didn't need to point that out, and wished to keep this on the bright side.

"And yes; I'm rather sure this is part of why you instinctively made your way to Bura.  Home was calling you, I would guess."   

She began logging off the system, after using her status to tag the info private, except for those with the rank and a reason to know, such as for the sake of Sam's health.

"This information becomes part of your medical records," she said, "But other than that, it's private, and up to you whether you tell anyone.  And yes -- we're all done now."   

 Sam smiled and replied," Yes that is very true finding my home planet is a big thing, and with my ties to Bura maybe I might be able to find out more about my family."

 Sam listened and replied," Yes I think that might be true once I saw Bura I was in love with her, the planet and people felt like home the moment I walked onto the planet and met them."

 When Alison said it was confidential part of her medical records, Sam replied," Thank you Doctor I do not care who knows I think it is amazing I am part Angel. Thank you again did you want to see my back scars before I left?"

Alison was aware these scars were an old injury -- but also that time could be nearly irrelevant in the case of something such as this.

They were part of a profound trauma that affected Sam deeply while she was a child, and surely still held influence in her subconscious today.

"Sure," she said.  "Let me go ahead and have a look at them."

 Sam smiled not ashamed of her scars anymore but proud she survived her ordeal, Steve helped her figure that out. Sam replied," Very well Doc." Sam removed her duty uniform shirt and turned to show Alison her extremely nasty and some very deep looking scars on her back, they did quite the number on her that's for sure.
