Harry would wait until Will had left the room before delivering a slap that would send Abby staggering back a step, with the fact that she was her sister being the only thing stopping her from breaking her nose ”If I ever hear you speaking to him like that again and me and you are going to have a major problem, you hear me!” Harry snarled, her eyes ablaze with barely contained fury ”...considering the shit you pulled on Uden be thankful you’re not flying a god damn shuttle or sat in the pool! Do you want me to talk to Shadow and get you put in the pool? Because I really don’t need this shit!” Harry continued, venting all of her nerves and anxiety over the approaching battle, not to mention all of the stupid, self-centred crap she had pulled since coming her onto her sister “If you want to fly interception then play the game and prove you can play well with others! Now if you’re quite done we need to be on the hangar dec, or shall I tell Shadow to put you in the pool?”

  Abby was shocked... her   eyes  filled  with  tears, but she  fought   hard  not to out right cry.

  .The Pool!..Bloody 9 'ells..I may as well be Dead...  Shuttles  are fer  then that  can't fly one on one....  She sniffed   as he headed to the  door with HArry.

 The  Guards  at the   doors, eyed   Abby. they didn't say anything. but  disapproval  was easy to see.

“Hmm we have time for a quickie, just keep it down baby people are sleeping” Izzy giggled before pulling Lizzy in for another kiss, pressing her body up against Lizzy’s as her hand slid along the inside of her thigh in a way that said she was more than up for a little fun.

By the time they had finished fooling around they would have just about enough time for a quick shower before pulling on their respective combat gear with Izzy not even attempting to hide the fact that she was checking Lizzy out in her tight fitting envirosuit ”Oh I so want to play with you in that with your toy box” Izzy purred as she tightened the straps on her chest plate.

Hearing the buzz of her comms unit she would pause to read the message from Beth, frowning when she saw she was to meet up with both the Admiral and Wendy prior to the battle. Putting it out of her mind for the time being she would finish pulling on her armour before pinning up her hair and applying her makeup. Needless to say Lizzy would be finished getting ready before she was.

 Lizzy smiled and replied," Yes my love I will try to keep it down just don't touch that one spot okay." She giggled as they had a fun morning together. They got up, showered and got ready. Lizzy noticed Izzy staring at her as she got her very tight fitting envirosuit on,  when Izzy made her comment Lizzy smiled and said," Oh Izzy that sounds like fun, we can try that after we get back, and I thought you where afraid of OUR toy box Izzy." Lizzy giggled again and then got her light boarding armor on.

 Lizzy got her armor on her weapons all set, she was done a lot quicker than Izzy she didn't put makeup for combat but she understood why Izzy had too, she then smiled at Izzy and said," Okay my love you finish up I need to go double and triple check my fighter, be safe out there and if you can stay close to Zob, Garret, the SM or the Udenese Commando Amazon woman, they will keep you safe, plus video of a Udenese killing Verians would go over pretty well don't you think Izzy? I will see you after this is all over I love you Izzy." Lizzy would wait for her reply then give her a kiss and head for the Hanger Dec.

Harry countered as they left her quarters and started down the corridor towards the lift "...and it can get a lot worse than pool pilot, how do you fancy flying a Hammer III on some backwater colony where the hangar doubles up as a chicken shed?" she said, still clearly pissed off if not quite containing the same level of anger as when she'd made the mistake of upsetting Will "oh and I suggest you blame what you said to Will on nerves and apologise to him as soon as we're on the hangar dec else you're liable to become less popular than the reporter" because if that happened then she really would wind up flying colony defence and she would only have herself to blame.

"A couple of them are kind of fun" Izzy muttered as her cheeks flushed bright pink at the mention of, what in her mind at least, was most certainly Lizzy's toy box and her wariness concerning some of the items within.

With Lizzy finishing long before her Izzy would smile as Lizzy gave her a quick kiss before telling her to stay close to Zob, Garrat and the most of the marines serving on the Hermes "Yes Mom I promise I won't do anything dangerous" Izzy said with a sigh that said she'd uttered those lines, or at least very similar ones, multiple times during her lifetime.

Once she had finished getting ready she would pick up her carbine before waking Tali and heading out of the door for the Hangar dec, where she was to meet up with Admiral Hack and Wendy Maxie of all people. Wishing she knew what the Admiral had in mind ahead of time so that she could have properly prepared herself for whatever he expected of them.

Arriving at what would hopefully soon become Their quarters, Izzy would punch in the code to let them both in before then heading to the bedroom. Once there she would begin the task of stripping out of her armour and storing it back within the locker along with her weapons. Wearing nothing but her underwear a large, ugly, purple bruise the size of a dinner plate would be revealed on her shoulder, contrasting sharply with the white sports bra she had been wearing beneath her armour. She would probably have to get the chest plate replaced or failing that panel beaten back into shape though that could wait for another time.

As soon Lizzy was likewise down to her underwear, Izzy would shake out her dark hair so that it fell loose about her shoulders before putting her arms about her in a loving, tender embrace "hmmm that's so much better" she murmured, enjoying the softness of her girlfriends skin against her own "Do you mind if we just cuddle for a bit? It's been a long day and my body doesn't seem to appreciate wearing combat boots and armour" she softly whispered as she gently nuzzled the side of Lizzy's neck with her wanting just a little alone time with Lizzy before had to attend the after party.

 Lizzy followed Izzy into THEIR quarters, and when Izzy began to get out of her armor, so did Lizzy. She put her armor away and she was wearing her enviro suit and Lizzy knew Izzy loved seeing her in that. She took her enviro suit off and was a sports bra and comfortable panties. Lizzy would welcome Izzy;s loving embrace, " Yes it is so much better out of that armor and in OUR quarters together."

 Lizzy smiled at Izzy and said," Of course my love we can cuddle all you want, I am just so happy you are here with me, it has been a long day, come here my love." Lizzy would sit on the bed and hold her amazing girlfriend close and give her a loving, passionate kiss.

Nikki let Haley in to their quarters.  She placed some of her gear on the chair as Haley climbed up onto her bunk bed.
Haley hung her backpack off the corner.  She laid down and played with her sticker book a bit.
"Haley I didn't bet to sleep well while I was a way.  You be okay for a bit if I take a small nap?" She took most of her gear off and boots.
"Yeah.  can I watch a vid?" she asked
"Of course....How about Captain Lightning?" She set it up for her and set her alarm for 30 minutes.  In moments the video was going.  Haley watched it and nodded off for a bit too.

Sitting on the bed with her legs curled up beneath her, Izzy would return Lizzy’s kiss before gently resting her head upon her chest and relaxing into her tender embrace, enjoying the warmth and feel of her body against her own. It would only take a few minutes after Izzy had settled herself down for Lizzy to realise that she had fallen sound asleep within her arms. Regardless of whether Lizzy decided to lay her sleeping girlfriend down onto the bed or simply sit there holding her as she slept, Izzy would sleep through until she woken up so that they could get ready for the party.

 Lizzy was happy Izzy was in her arms as they cuddled, it felt so nice after a very long day of two flights. After the amazing kiss they just held each other, Lizzy feeling the warmth of her body against hers, they had about a little less then 2 hours before the party. A few minutes later Lizzy noticed Izzy had fallen asleep in her arms and that made her feel so good that she felt comfortable enough to sleep like that, plus it was a long day.

 Lizzy was tired too, but her mind was racing what Nikki told her about Abby must be hurting Harry so much, was she EDT as well or in league with her Father she was his best student and they flew together. Normally instructors flew against their best students to test them and make them even better that is what her Father did with her. Something wasnt right and this might get ugly for Abby and Harry would need all her friends to get through this.

 Lizzy thought she should close her eyes for a bit as well but again her mind was racing and it just felt so good to hold the sleeping Izzy in her arms as they sat on the bed. Lizzy would carefully check her Comms which luckily she put on the bed as she changed, she checked it just in case and then set an alarm fora little over an hour so they would have plenty of time to get ready for the After Party.

 Lizzy's mind finally just focused on her gorgeous amazing girlfriend and she fell asleep as well as they where cuddling each other. She wouldn't wake up until the alarm went off which she had next to them and on loud setting,  it had been a very long day.

As the alarm went off, Izzy would awaken to find herself still within Lizzy's arms and her head resting against her more than ample chest. Looking just a little embarrassed over having fallen asleep like that, Izzy would sit back up as she stretched with a yawn. She didn't know how long she'd been asleep for but she'd only had around two hours to begin with so figured she'd better start getting ready for the after party "Hmm I think we'd best get ready for the after party, unless you want to turn up dressed like this" she said with a giggle, giving Lizzy a quick peck on the cheek before heading for the shower.

A shower and a change of underwear later, with Izzy opting for something black and lacy, Izzy would begin the task of going through her clothes looking for something to wear. After far more deliberation than was strictly necessary she would opt for a green and black plaid skirt and her brown leather jacket over a white vest top,  with a pair of ankle boots to finish off the look.

Leaving her raven black hair loose she would give Lizzy a quick twirl, giggling as she does so, before saying with a smile "Ok I'm ready for the party if you are"

After a light nap Nikkis alarm went off.  Turning it off Nikki got up stretched, checked Haley who still wanted a nap.  Nikki let her and got a quick shower and cleaned up.  She put on a clean set of casuals.  Finally waking Haley to get her ready too.  Nikki, in damp hair made a high spiral hair style.  Haley decided just brush her hair and it it go wild.  Both dressed and spiffied up, as well as cleaned the billet.  She made sure her envirosuit and gear were ready to go.  Soon she grabbed her guitar and began to leave for the recdec.

 Lizzy opened her eyes, at the alarm and thought to herself she was glad she set the alarm. When Izzy suggested they go just like this she smiled and said," Well I wouldn't mind I have worn less in public." She giggles and adds," I dont think some of the others would mind either. We  have 50 minutes, you take your shower first it takes longer for you to put on your amazing makeup."

 Even though Izzy took her shower first, Lizzy took hers, and put on a clean duty uniform which took no time and was ready by the time Izzy twirled for her. " Wow you look gorgeous, I am so happy we met Izzy, I love you so much." Lizzy would hold her close and give her one of her intense, loving passionate kisses that makes their toes curl. Lizzy smiles and said, " I am ready now, shall we."

Nikki and Haley had just stepped into the hall and were getting in the lift when a comm call came in.  She facepalmed.  "Haley we gotta go to the SEC first, then we'll go to the RecDec"
"Okay.  Not in trouble are we?"
"No, don't think so.  I think this was to clarify a few things...but i'm guessin'" If it was what she thought Harry was not gonna be happy.

Slowly walking down the corridor, Izzy would hold her girlfriends hand as she silently tried to process what had just happened. She'd never seen Lizzy's emotions getting so out of hand before and she found the experience more than a little frightening with her fully understanding why Lucky and the guy he'd been showing around decided to make a break for it.

Upon arriving at Lizzy's quarters Izzy would remove her ankle boots upon stepping inside and offer Lizzy a fond smile "Why don't you go to bed and I'll fix us both a night cap?" she kindly suggested, suspecting that it wouldn't take much to send poor Lizzy to sleep as the day seemingly caught up with her.

After a brief search through the things she'd already brought across, quietly reminding her that she needed to bring the rest across at some point tomorrow, Izzy would find the dark Burian liquor she'd bought and pour them both a small measure that she would take into the bedroom and place on the bedside table whilst she stripped out of her clothes and got into bed.

 Lizzy was mentally drained from the long day, she walked with Izzy to their quarters. They got inside and Lizzy took her duty boots off. When Izzy suggested she go get ready for bed while she got them a drink, Lizzy smiled and said," That sounds good Izzy thank you."

 Lizzy went into the bedroom and removed her duty uniform and put it in the dirty clothes, she got undressed completely and crawled into bed. She watched as Izzy came in placed their drinks on the table, then stripped. Lizzy watched her gorgeous girlfriend get undressed and smiled when she got into bed.

 Lizzy smiled at Izzy when she got into bed and held Izzy close wrapping Izzy in her arms. Then she would say," Izzy I am sorry I lost control on the Rec Dec, is just so much has happened, and, and I thought I scared you away. I dont think I can make it through this without you Izzy, lets have that drink and we can cuddle and fall asleep in each others arms, how does that sound Izzy?"

"Hmm I'm quite sure that's not true" Izzy quietly said as Lizzy claimed that she wouldn't be able to cope without her. With the amount of self confidence she had, Izzy was pretty confident that it wouldn't take much for her to bounce back, not that she was planning on leaving her anyway. At the suggestion of them having a cuddle once they'd finished their drinks Izzy would smile as she softly replied "I think I'd like that" before handing Lizzy a glass tumbler containing a small measure of the dark Burian liquor that she had bought to help her sleep. Sipping her own drink, she would slip her other arm around Lizzy as she savoured the strong fruity flavours of the liquor "We'll have to get the last of my stuff tomorrow after send off" Izzy quietly said as her hand gently caressed the smooth, soft skin of Lizzy's stomach.

Once they'd finished their drinks it wouldn't take long for the Izzy to start feelings the effects of the drink as she nestled in close to Lizzy, giving her several long, sensual kisses before turning of the light and cuddling up to her and whispering Good night to her in Japanese before slowly drifting off to sleep.

  Lizzy looked at Izzy with a look that if Izzy wasnt here right now things would be very bad. Lizzy took the tumbler and took her drink, she then smiled as Izzy cuddled with her close, "Yes Izzy after send off we will get all of your stuff and you will be moved in." Lizzy was so happy Izzy was still moving in with her after tonight, it was hard for Lizzy to deal with hurting Harry so much, and possibly loosing her as a friend forever.

 After their drinks where done Lizzy cuddled with Izzy close, she was really feeling the Burian drink. She held Izzy close, whispering into Izzy's ear," I love you so much Izzy I am so sorry I am such a mess." Lizzy then closed her eyes and was asleep before her eyes hwere even fully closed.

Getting off the lift they all went to Nikkis quarters.  Even she was yawning.  Opening it up she let them in.  Gregor balked a bit "Scoot on in...you don't wanna be left in the hallway"  He looked up at her, mostly eyeing his half eaten pizza.  "I'll give it back when you go inside"  his whip like tail stiff and moved like a starched arrow wagged a bit then he went in.  She hung her guitar up on the wall.
By then Haley had gotten her jammies and Roll put his stuff in the chair.  Entering Nikki placed the plate under her desk area so Gregor could eat without being under foot.  Nikki gathered one of her old t-shirts and handed it to Roll "Okay Roll,  you go change and I'll help Haley.  You can use one of my t's tonight.  We'll stop by your house tomorrow before send off to change.  Oh and wash your face and hands"  As he did so Nikki helped Haley get into her Jammies too "When he's done you go wash your hands and face too young lady"
"Yes Ma'am" she responded.  In just a few  minutes she had Haley changed.  Soon Roll came out and Haley went in. Taking Rolls clothes she folded them up nicely and placed them on the desk.  Then looked him over to see if his washed behind his ears "Could do a bit better, but not bad" she smiled "Okay, gonna have you and Haley share the bottom bunk, and that way Gregor can join you if you want...as long as he does not chew on my sheet or such" She pulled back the sheets.  Haley came out and was also inspected.  Nikki looked her in the eyes after looking behind her ears "Haley Jean" she said flatly.  Haley went and washed behind her ears before coming out again.  Nikki reached up and got both her stuffed animals.  Haley returned and Nikki checked again "A lot better.  Now you can get in the bed." she helped both into it and let them get comfy and tucked them in.  "Gregor, you can sleep with them if you want.  If you need to go you can do what you did last time, but you can sleep on the bed or chair, your call" She moved Rolls backpack and gear to the desk top and moved the chair closer.  Sitting on the edge of the bed she looked at both kids and smiled tired and gentle "Let's begin at the beginning... A long time ago on Earth there was a farmer and his wife, they lived in a little white house with a big red barn.  They raised lots of chickens, and pigs, some cows and more..  Still both the farmer and his wife thought the farm was missing something...a pony.  Their farm was small so they didn't need a big pony...." Haley smiled, it was the first story of 'Stony the pony'.  Nikki guessed Roll never had yet.  His first 'bedtime story'.  In true form even before they'd all know it, both kids were sound asleep.  She gave each a kiss on the cheek.
Nikki set her alarm and made sure Gregor had food and water.  Then she fot herself ready for bed and leaving the small light on in the bathroom and a partial open door to it for any late night potty runs Nikki climbed up into Haleys bed.  In moments even she was asleep as well.

  Roll Listened to   Nikki.. he  didn't talk much..he was tired..he said thank you  and   crawled into bet.. Gregor Looked  around,, his  head tilting  90 degrees.. he  went over to the  door  and laid  down but the  door..his eyes opened..though they seemed  like they were gettign heavy

  walking onto  the  Officer's  Dec , Max said,..hey?  LC.... by yourself? they chuckled.

 Libby grabbed  her  blouse  and  slacks   running to the  door....sorry ..LC?..he said it would be  alright... she slipped on her shoes, and began to button her Blouse.. Shade  have her a Green eyed  thumbs up.

 She smiled at Shade, then saw the grim, look on Shadow's  face and she  left.

 Machins touched his mouth and looked at the blood  from his split lip.....no?  but you're gonna  tell me , i bet.

The Bugs   where at the   tail end of getting thier asses  kicked when they unleashed   every...damn...UE they  hand in thier hive, at the Mountain   the SM and  the assault  teams  were  attacking.. Stoly..the nephew.. managed to live through the onslaught... a tidal wave of mishaped , hungry, mindless   beetle-crossbreeds failures..

 ..those two, were covering the Scots  who  were climbing one of the faces of the mountain..when  the edge of the  swarm hit them.. they both lost thier legs   from the calf  down... They should be on Fuji..or someplace.. recruiting..or retired..but they  got those ..proto-feet..a cross between a  machine and  derma foam  limbs..... The fleet rules  said  , if they wanted to stay in the service, they had to take a 'rear area  ' Job..but  neither one of  them   did..they wanted to  fight..stay in the  war, because the UEs cheated them of that..So?  the Admiral ran and  end  run, around the Provost's books and  made them.. She hadn't seen what happened to Captain Machins but even if she had, it was none of her business. Instead, she bid the guards a goodnight and headed into her room. Once the door was shut, she removed her goggles and stripped down to nearly nothing and flopped onto her bed, more tired than she realized. Knowing that she would most likely pass out quickly, she shifted and set an alarm before rolling back over and falling fast asleep.

The Next Day

The alarm went off and Billie groaned, not wanting to get up but knowing that she had to. With a heavy sigh, she turned the alarm off and rubbed her eyes before heading into the bathroom for a quick shower and to brush her teeth, easily falling into that usual morning routine. Donning the appropriate attire and making sure she looked somewhat presentable, Billie slipped her goggles on and headed out.

Seeing Will, Billie offered a slight smile. "Mind if I ride the lift with you?"
