Nic looked at Izzy when she spoke, brows furrowed a little but then frowned. Just how bad was Harry hurt? He shifted from foot to foot, wondering if he could even get to the medtech with all the wounded. And then Garrat, like a godsend, appeared and startled Nic with his words. "Unn, thanks. I think... hey here let me give you a hand."

 Meari looked at Izzy and replied,"  I am not really injured yeah my knee hurts but it is fine Ens. umm Izzy. I will go but they might send me away because of worse injuries, I will escort you at least." She waves to the LC," I will volunteer just need to get cleared by Medical then I would love to watch and help in teaching Captain Traitor a few things LC."

 Meari smiled at the LC and he could tell she was very interested in watching and helping, with Captain Feng's teaching. She then escorted Izzy to Med Tech.

 Lizzy smiled at Nic when he left and waved at Izzy and Meari as they headed to Med Tech, Izzy was holding her side and walking so she wasnt hurt to bad, that was good, but what was Izzy doing on a shuttle, Lizzy though Izzy was working with Beth. Lizzy was so happy Izzy got to fight and do what she wanted, she had hoped Izzy would do better and be a great member of the team. Since her injury Izzy had changed mostly her reaction to the war she hadnt changed in how she treated her at least.

 She just looked at Feng and said," You are a fucking disgrace to the human race Empire child killer, why waste time let Larry eat him LC, or you could do what you did to my Father,  Captain bastard would really love that wouldn't he." Lizzy spit in his direction and headed for her fighter to see how bad the damage she was and how long to fix her.

 Lizzy would send a comm text message to Izzy," I saw you head to Med Tech I hope you are ok. I see that you went on the assault great job my love. Told you that you would find your spot. I am safe my fighter is beat to hell but I am fine see you after you get checked."

 Rivets   went through the  Dec, he split his people  up, half  doing clean up, Half checkign   fighters...Aircfat that were  'ready to go' got a Green  dot sprayed on the  nose... aircaft that needed work  were sprayed with  a Yellow   dot. Write offs  were sprayed  with a Large Red Dot, to make sure everyone saw they were to be scrapped.

 Morris  walked with   Rivets towards the Stern, he would go through the Kills, alot of it would need searched through  'other Cams' sicne alot of the aircaft had been lost, ..been a while since it was like this....

 ....never been like this.. we lost , lotsa  aircraft in Aqra, and a few other conflicts. But we lost alot of  troops and Hanger folks to...

  Captain Morris  nodded quietly,The  Empire  lost  something big out here...even with the Kuiper belt  outposts, they don't have anything out this way, that is  as formidable

 Aye, Shamus..... but  for how long.... See you at the party... he gave  Rivets a whack on the small of the back, and  went  to his shed.

 Lizzy was done checking out her fighter. She then looked around to see who was still missing, she would check her flight first then others to get an idea how many pilots were missing.

Jug and a few of the squad looked about for missing Gava.  Eventually they found Onnu and Tamu.  Tamu passed but Onnu was wounded.  She and Bog took Onnu on a stretcher to Med Dec.  The others she ordered to prep Tamu for send off.

 Meari walked onto the Hanger Dec after dropping off her armor, she walked around the Dec and offered to help with at least cleanup and help moving heavy things. She also looked for Vaka and any of the Hemdeill troopers, she wondered how they did and who was still alive.

Nic arrived back to the dec and looked around a moment. There was so much chaos really. He tried to keep out of the way as he moved to his fighter to check it over. It had gained a few holes but he had been damn lucky to not get chewed up and knew it well. The disk he pulled and then searched for someone to hand it to. He should have done that earlier. A nod and wave was given to Meari.

 Meari saw Nic nod and wave at her, she then remembered Harry and Nic where spending time together, Meari wondered if he knew Harry was hurt bad. Meari motioned for Nic too stop, and she ran over too him favoring her right knee. Once she caught up to him, Meari said," Spartan Sir, how is Harry did you find her? She fought well by my side, she fought with great honor and got shot, we both thought it was a clean shot. She fought more after and she helped beat the birds back with me. Thats when she collapsed and I found out her wound was very bad, I did what I could quickly and they rushed Harry to Med Tech."

Nic stopped as Meari approached, taking note of her limp. "Nic, call me Nic," he said with a smile after she spoke. "I know. Izzy let me know in passing. They wouldn't let me in to see her but there's a lot of hurt people they are taking care of right now." He smiled wider at hearing Harry had done well. They both had but he had come out better than she had. "I hope that tells that she can be counted on," he said with a sigh. Harry was so stoic about it. "You look like you should be sitting down and resting your leg."

 Meari smiled and replied," Yes Nic I will, not use too the very informal nature of rank on the Hermes. Meari nodded and said," Yes that Nest ship was something else, we fought hard but too many sniper points they just had way to many troops to try and save any of the slaves." Meari smiled and said," I will fight by her side any day Si..umm Nic, and I will make sure others know how well she fought, now she just needs too play nice with others and she will be fine." Meari gave  funny laugh, and then Nic commented on her knee, Meari chuckled and said," Oh just a sore knee I will be fine, but I was planning on going to the after party too see who made it back and who didnt."

He laughed. "Meari when we are on duty you can call me Spartan or Lt. Vasilakos. Otherwise I prefer Nic." His expression changed and he gave a solemn nod. "I saw the first pelting and then I was busy with the fighters. Someone was watching over me well enough that I came out virtually with out a scratch." He snorted a little. "Harry does have a way of expressing herself. Its a defense mechanism thought, get them before they get her." That made too much sense to him. "Ask for a knee brace from Med Tech when you go to them. It will help you in the long run. Otherwise if you do something silly, move the wrong way you might put yourself out for a while. I use to play sports when I was in school, so I know knee injuries."

 Meari smiled and replied," Yes Nic I will do that."  Meari listened and then responded," Well our first skirmish was the birds was horrible we fought them back and I took no wounds either, lots of bird blood and feathers though. Going to the Nest ship was hard, there where so many troops, so many got hit, my armor saved my ass it is now getting repaired."

 Meari smiled and chuckled, " Yes Harry does do that, that is very true. She has a warrior's soul but she needs discipline and control. I offered to train her more with her Udenese paired boot knives, after she recovers that will help I think." Meari looked at him like she has had a lot worse injuries than this, but she smiles and says," Yes I will ask for a knee brace but I need one that is rated for combat then."

 Meari smiled and then added," I am going to head to the Rec Dec get some food before the party starts, will I see you there Nic?"

He smiled and nodded back to her as she spoke. "I can only imagine. Its bad enough when you scrum with 3 to 1 odds. You had worse here. I will suggest she do train with you if it helps her. I think just having someone not treat her like shit helps. I-," he paused a moment. "...well war is hard and vicious, brings out the worst in others." Then she reminded him of the 'after party' and a look crossed over his face. "Yes, I will be there. I will see you then."

 Meari smiled and then said," I live for those odds in close quarters, but it was pretty bad and I believe Harry and I both did very well. Yes I think it will help her and at least she will have one person in SEC she wont mind working with." Meari waited while he paused, " Yes it does Nic, yes it does, I just cant see how a Human could eat another human child I cant understand that Nic." Meari smiled and replied," Yes Nic I will see you then. Meari then nodded at Nic and she then headed for the Rec Dec and see how the after party was going and if anyone needed any help.

 Lizzy was finished with what she could do, she checked her messages and she reads Izzy's message. She sent a comm text message back to Izzy," Ok my love, I am proud of you, love you see you at the after party." Lizzy then headed for her quarters to change, shower and get ready for the after party.

 a shuttle  came in, Battered Pilots  came off the  shuttle, looking  mad, or bummed out  as they headed for   Morris's offcie  to had in thier   Disc.

  Rivtes  was glad to see them, but the fact remained, there  were still some missing

Nic waved to Meari before staring at the Dec a little. Finally when the shuttle dropped off the pilots he followed and handed his Disc in before heading towards the lift. If he was going to sit around for a bit while the party got started, he was going to bring his tablet down to do some reading. He couldn't rely on others to entertain him now.

 Rivets  watched the tractor Push two more   aircraft to the edge of the static  field, where a Tender's Long  arm  reached to remover them from the Hanger..

  Argie  looked  tired as almost everyone did. He brought a  cup of  coffee over to  Rivets  and asked...Bad News is..we lost alot of Machines..good  News is, we got some of the pilots back...

They both sipped the coffee as Rivets said,ye count the new Heimdall guy, and the Pool aircraft and Raven  an'  Redwater, we sent  63  aircaft out there... we  have 22 that can fly, and they all need patched.... we're Gonna be raidin'  Etna's Hanger decs, fer certain.

   A tender working with the LG01 caught one and tagged the other before removing it for partsing it out.

 A Burian shuttle asked for clearance and then landed on the Hermes Hanger Dec. Sam had compiled a lot of information, and got a lot of SSN feeds to go through. Sam got out of the shuttle and then gave the pilot and crew orders to return to the Vengeance.

 Sam then walked onto the Hanger dec and saw Captain Rivets, she headed over there quickly and asked," Captain Rivets sir Lt. Robertson of the Burian Fleet, I am looking for Lt. Morrow."

  Rivets looked over the Dec, as he  smiled to Sam..I'm goin' ta th4  Red Dec  know, our after Party started. They i have to go to the Admiral's for  some kinda dinner meeting.... beth outta be  up on the rec Dec,Unless she found  something of more interest to  do...  his eye brows   go up and down as he leads her towards the  elevator

 Sam smiled and replied," Thank you Sir, I have some messages I would like her help with. Oh she is at the after party maybe I should talk to her later."  Her question was answered as Rivets led her to the lifts towards the Rec Dec.
