Zob who had been standing around watching the proceedings simply shook his head as he watched the shuttle lift into the air and zip out of sight, "Well that was lame" he said in a nonchalant matter as he flagged down Hemsly as he walked off the stage and asked if he wanted to join him for some coffee by the mess tent.

Since the Prisoner had been paraded Justin had quietly observed Hack, noting his associations, behaviours, comments
& interactions. As the impaired shuttle ascended Justin glanced in Hacks direction...  Giving a shrug Justin strolled over to the mess area grabbing a couple of sandwiches and a brew. Spotting Zob, Justin moved in his direction. ooc if Zob notices him. Justin motions his hope to accompany Zob and Hemsly

  Hemsly     walked with  Zob,The Scot    seemed    in a 'balanced' state, he wasn't happy, but he wasn't remotely as  Shadow seemed  to be.

 others  broke up..most were disappointed, not seeing some  kind of execution.

In a surprise ending that no one saw coming, the Most High's execution would not be the spectacle that Kray Shadow had hoped. It was still an execution, just one less barbaric and more strategic. Kray was not pleased. In a burst of frustration exited the proceeding and went to the mess tent. Madison, for whatever reason was unmoved. She was expecting to see the millennia old pure angel  hung from that cross. Maybe she was hoping for it. The Most High, in his own words confirmed his crimes, and damned himself further by not even seeing them as the unfathomable evil they were. He was just a demon in a prettier body. The Most High would die. His death would show that even gods can be held accountable, and it would demonstrate that those who side with the demons will gain no support should they fall. In the end, this outcome was justice.

With the conclusion of the proceeding, Madison stopped recording. She put away her device and followed Shadow to the mess tent. She spotted him back near the table they were in earlier. After grabbing some breakfast, she sat across from him.

"I'm sorry that didn't go the way you wanted."

   Shadow    nodded, giving her a bit of a smile,You kow this is a trope, right?.. Let the biggest bad go and somehow he  survives.. we fucked around with Jonny BlU after   he killed lady... and  we  went to Zolth  to cut of the head  of the EVOLS...  I caught   Blu om  Bura   after    shooting him up, bit  by bit to force land him... Captain Si followed me  down in her Fighter, and  watched me Beat him to death... That was great..I love it..but..if we would have  just shot him, or spaced him.. alot of other people  would still be alive right now

 he  stabbed what appeared to b  potato slice...I would have  done it?  all they had to do is ask..    I would  dropped  ...drop by drop of plasma on th bastard  to make  up for a history of  deaths, that came in his  Name, or  at least, in his  idea.

 "Yes Izzy no matter what happens he will pay the price, I am just here to kill bad guys and love you." Lizzy listened then responded," Wow was that on the hanger dec or on planet. I think i need to worry about you more Izzy damn."

 Lizzy and Izzy sat, talked and ate, they missed the whole trial and Lizzy was probably glad she did. The LC came in obviously very upset with something that happened.

 Lizzy then saw Madison come in get food and sit with him. Lizzy then wondered what happened with the most high. Lizzy said to Izzy, " I am all set going to toss the trash and go talk to the LC."
 

 NA-CE watched the trial and was upset she didnt get to see the most high get eaten alive by plasma but this seemed more strategic while also sending a message to the black. NA-CE just hoped he didnt escape he had to die no matter what, if that happened she would be happy.

 NA-CE was happy to hear they were stopping at her home for a bit she could see her family again and she heard the Delta Fleet Balls where amazing and having her first one on her home planet was even more special.

 When it was all over NA-CE went back to work in the Med Tech tent helping the Major.

"Yes, it's a worry. The escort ships could be overwhelmed by a rescue. Something might malfunction. The High One might have some trick up his sleeve. Something could happen. Or the demons could destroy him for his failure, or the escort shops might not like leaving to chance. Personally, I think they should have just put a bullet through his brain. Madison took a moment to eat as the LC went through the sequence of events to come. Madison smiled. "Ya, I am so looking forward to Angel silk."

Zob walked with Hemsly over to claim some breakfast and a large coffee and took a seat it was then he noticed Justin about, "Don't be shy sit" upon saying his peace on the matter he took a big sip of the scolding hot coffee, "I can tell everyone was hoping he would be brutally murdered by the Admiral but I'm sure there was a solid reason for doing what he did, if it turns out to be a mistake well will cross that bridge when we get there as you humans put it"

  Shadow        relaxed a bit  More..the  shuttle was  gone.. the Yenti, not real happy, began to  Move toward Jerl..Time to claim thier spoils.

  we've been to the Blue Moon before.. and yes, we will need lots of repairs, But we should do that at Fuji, that's our 'home'. Since we are going to the Blue  moon, i can tell you, there will be a delta  Night

There was a weary sigh as Tarja started fixing Meari a cup of coffee the way she’d asked ”problem is I made steps to rectify the problem and then my therapist gets shot…or so I heard…guess I’ll have to find another one” she said as she poured the water and milk and handed the tin mug to Meari.

”Is that coffee I smell?” Penny asked as she crawled from out of her tent with her short red hair in disarray ”Also what the fuck was in that bottle?”

Madison picked at the remains of her meal, scooping some eggs up on the last bite of toast. When the LC mentioned a date, she huffed. "No date." Her eyes rolled. "Either I'm really uninteresting or the guys on this ship think I have a disease. I had a thing with Zob briefly but that fizzled. Other than that, the only one who's even looked at me has been Steele."

"Mh. No. The Ensign in charge of the Mess here did seem a little smitten yesterday when I got the candy bars for the kids. So, no. I don't have a date. Count me in on the limo. Do I want to take part in a Delta night? Fuck yeah."

 Shadow shook his head,Steele hits on everyone..he  was with Raven for a while, she would hit on me, He would hit on Hanah..we even had a saims  contest. all the safeties off.. I fried  Raven.. if they on they  got us.. if i won they had to clean the wreck dec..

Madison choked on her drink. Setting it down quickly, she covered her mouth to prevent any spray from her coughing. She had to replay what she just heard in her head more than a few times to make sure she heard it right, but no matter which way she turned it, Kray Shadow just asked her on a date.

It had to be a date to the ball. A clever cover for the mission. Didn't it? Maybe. Probably. But maybe not?

"Um. Yes?" She grabbed a napkin to wipe her mouth. "I'm sorry, but did you... I mean. Yes, but did I hear that right? you're asking me out? On a date? I have to ask... is this for the mission, or.... not?"

"Not Jiminy Cricket, Sir.  Machiavelli would be more accurate.  Jiminy Cricket would tell you to let bygones be bygones.  I'm saying dangle him like chum for a shark..."  He went back to attention as the proceedings began, his face impassive and his expression a carefully schooled neutral.

As the proceedings broke up, Roy stepped up to Hack one more time.  "Just make sure the Skyth keep someone watching that shuttle from close enough to jump in and wipe it out, along with anyone who shows up to rescue it.  I don't think the Demons will...Ge-Fi might, it depends on whether he feels like the death of the Most High improves his chances to become the new Supreme Angel.  But if anyone shows up before the shuttle goes up in flames, they need to precede him in death.  Think of it as the last twist of the knife...he gets a moment of hope, thinking he'll be rescued and able to carry out his revenge...and then he sees that chance evaporate in a ball of fire."

He knew it was a gamble...but the payoff was potentially high, especially if they managed to lure out some larger vessel whose loss would be a major setback.  He was sure the Qarl wouldn't bother...they sneered at everybody, even the Demons, and they would definitely not willingly go after an Angel who'd managed to lose his entire star system in a matter of days.  The Demons, he was sure, were just using the Angel cease-fire as a chance to focus on other matters and had no additional loyalty to the Angels.  Ge-Fi and the Sol System were the most likely...and that all came down to whether Ge-Fi saw more value in rescuing the Most High, or letting him die in ignominy.  And Roy could see either prospect being equally plausible.

 Lizzy giggled at Izzy's comment and then after Izzy acknowledged she walked over to the LC and Madison. " I will be right back my love." She gave Izzy a kiss on the cheek before she left.

 Lizzy walked over and asked," LC you came in upset what happened with the great and mighty Most High did they do what they did to my father or did he get off easy?"

   Shadow  watched her. his  eyes   had a twinkle, the smile was trying to be  suppressed,well... yes?..  I mean.. There's  gonna be the after party, but that's ..likje..everyone..right?  At least those who are part of the crew, and  want to  say goodbye to our comrades  in  a 'wake-like' manner...The  , more 'proper' send off   will be in the morning.. After party  ..well? after..its sorta backwards this  time. but  that happens
sometimes.

 Lizzy smiled at Madison and felt like she might have interrupted something interesting but she smiled at Madison and then heard the LC's answer," As long as the Bastard dies and we gain the most out of it we can I am good with that, yes thank you sir sorry to interrupt I will be getting back to Izzy, see you at the after party Sir, Madison."

The question hung in the air, but Shadow seemed apologetic about the awkwardness of her response. He gave her permission to decline, assuring her this wasn't some kind of sexual harassment. Madison didn't think it was that at all. Flores had described to her what sounded like a rotation of ladies visiting his bed, all on their own discretion. And she had seen first hand how they flitted around him like hummingbirds around trumpet flowers. And never once did she ever sense that he gave her any more notice than he would any other junior pilot. This was so unexpected.

Madison was about to stutter out a response, when Lizzy showed up to break the tension. Thank Gods.

"Hey Lizzy! Good morning." Lizzy was curious about what had happened about the Most High. Shadow lamented to her about the situation, satisfying her curiosity. Madison waved as retreated back towards Izzy.

"That's not what I meant." She turned right back to the conversation. Lizzy's arrival only hit pause, it was not a distraction. "It's just I never... I just wanted to make sure I wasn't reading too much into this. You said the Delta nights would sometimes require me to be.. um.. social at the ball. So I just wanted to make sure this wasn't that. I mean, it's okay if it is, but it's also okay if it's... what it sounded like."

 Shadow  smiled  an easy smile...at the Ball?    you have fun,  I , will most likely have to  danc e with some Blue  Moon Angel who has enough  brass to press the Issue.. captain Si almost always   gets a dance.. she and  The Admiral are like  my mom and dad....I do..um..make them mad, on occasions.

 Delta nights  is   differant. You'll be driving this time, Yiu can drive for me...and whom ever  teams with me, But ifwe have to slide into somethign Public,  yeah.. I might need you to  do that.Its  wet works..almsot always,  sometimes  its smash and grab...

After its over,   well.. there;s all kinds of places to go..

"Yes." Madison nodded. She looked away, then turned back with a sweet smile. "Yes, to all of that. And... yes, to a date too."
