Seeing that they have the fire under control, Twiggy turns on the ruffian ans he draws his rapier "You sir are a true coward. Not only do you attack my back but chase me to attack my back." Twiggy then slashes twice with his rapier.

Amara may not see exactly where the archers are, but she sees Vernon, and quickly casts a solid fog to prevent them from shooting - and hopefully from getting away.

Roen wasn't stupid enough to go into the sleet storm, but he did follow the edge to the back of it to see if anyone was trying to get out. With the warm weather, the cold of the spell felt pretty nice.

That's all Vernon could do was be a spotter for his friends. At first, he felt worthless, but now he could do the job and save the party some hurt. And that's huge in his book now.

Round 3 Results----------

Roenthelm jogs around the Sleet Storm to see if anyone comes out of it, so he could confront them as Kalliyan tries to calm down the horses so they don't run away in the middle of the night. Twiggy turns around and berates the Ruffian backstabber as Twiggy slashes him twice with his rapier, one on the man's forearm and the other one on his leg. He's bleeding pretty good now as Amara saw where Vernon was waving and cast a Solid Fog spell to trap whoever was out there shooting arrows. Ruffian 1, seeing the odds were against him, turned tail and started running and getting hit by Twiggy while doing so. There are no more arrows coming from the field as Myarra drops the limp Ruffian 2 and moves towards Ruffian 1, who appears to be trying to escape as Aliana switches targets and hits Ruffian 1 with the Hold Person spell she was casting. He freezes in mid-stride and Byron walks up to him and knocks him out with the pommel of his sword.

You all can hear the effort of one of the archers in the field trying to get out of the Solid Fog spell as Vernon tells you that the other Archer is running away but Vernon couldn't follow after 250 feet.

"Someone heal this moron," Myarra calls to her friends and points at Ruffian 2.  "Before he bleeds to death and can't talk anymore."

Byron has Ruffian 1 under control so she heads to the field.  "Come, girl. Let's see what Aunt Amanda caught for you to eat!  But remember, I call dibs on the soul."

Roen was expecting somebody to come out of the sleet storm and when it happened, Roen had a few questions for the man.

Byron stood over the idiot he just knocked out and made sure he wasn't going to get up and go anywhere.  He figures his friends have the rest of the idiots under control and calls out to them.

I'll stay here and make sure this one doesn't go anywhere.  If the others don't surrender let them meet their gods.

One of the Ruffians is fleeing up the road on his horse. He has a pretty good head start.

Twiggy grabs some rope from his bag and begins to tie ruffian 1 by his hands and feet in a hog tie "I have this one Byron, go help the others. We are going to have a discussion about running people down to stab them in the back.". Twiggy tries not to laugh at the irony of that exact move being the strongest thing in his arsenal.


Twiggy starts pulling out vials "So is it going to be acid to the face or other parts of your body? You can save yourself alot of trouble and pain  if you tell me your entire life story, but mainly who you are working for."

You tie up Ruffian 1 and 2 while they're pretty much helpless and then wait for Ruffian 4 to get out of the Solid Fog and tie him up as well. Ruffian 3 is dead and Ruffian 5 is long gone by now. You can hear and feel the Sleet Storm on the otherside of the farm. With the weather being pretty hot, even at night, the wetness of the spell is soothing. You check up on Kalliyan in the barn and she's keeping the horses calm. You don't see Roenthelm in the barn and you can only hear the Sleet Storm.

After Aliana does some very minor healing to prevent these Ruffians Idiots from dying, you'll have to wait a bit before they wake up again, but Ruffian 4 is just fine....



Ruffian 4 laughs at Twiggy,

"You're not going to do anything to us. This place is in Triel boundaries and your armored friend Byron there is a goodie goodie as well as your vagabond friend Roenthelm. It's just not in their nature to torture or know somebody is being tortured. So, you might as well let us go."

Would you like to find out what I'm capable of?  I can sit here and watch a couple of my friends do all the torturing of you they want and not say a word about it or lift a finger to stop them.  I might start by breaking some of your bones myself.  I also have no problem killing you here and now just to shut you up because you and your friends are idiots.

Amara let herself float back to the ground, walking over to where the men who had been captured were. She raised an eyebrow at the ruffian's words. Although she was fairly certain she knew the answer, she nonetheless activated her innate ability to detect good as she glowered at the others.

If what he says is true, then he needs a wanted poster of you guys and this property has to be in the Triel boundaries, which is in question. I haven't read the wanted posters for you Byron, or Roen. Does it say dead or alive? Where is Roen, by the way?

Vernon disappears from view to go look for Roen, if his range will let him go that far.

The tied up Ruffian is started by "Amanda's" actions and seems a bit Intimidated.

"The rest of the guards know we're here. You kill us and they'll know which direction you went." the Ruffian let slip "We may have attacked you, but only to draw you out to try and capture you. You're the murderers!"

With the majority of the party's Sense Motive Rolls, you are able to tell that these "Ruffian's" are Centauri's men with the man's slip of words. Amara doesn't Detect any Good in them, but that doesn't mean they're Evil, either. You search them and you do find Wanted Posters of Byron and Roenthelm, so they "technically" are obeying the law because the posters say "Dead or Alive".

Vernon disappears and returns fairly quickly to inform the party that Roenthelm is fighting more Ruffians on the other side of the barn as they come out of the Sleet Storm.

If they already know which way we're going, we might as well let them go. The old me would have killed them, but I'm trying to turn over a new leaf. If they decide to follow and attack us again, you guys have the right to defend yourselves and if one of them gets killed, then that's on them.

Twiggy chuckled again and sat down next to the ruffians head "If we are murderers then why are you alive? Even worse Centari knows that you would not have been able to stop us, he sent you to your death knowing he could say we were attacking his gaurds. We do not want to hurt you but it looks like your life is worth throwing away to Centari.

Would you like to hear why we are here and it does directly effect someone you know or at least a friend of a friend. Do you know of anyone disappearing?

But Twiggy seems to have this under control, and Vernon's warning that Roenthelm is fighting more ruffians makes her stride over to see if he needs assistance.

Byron replies to Amara as he puts his boot right where it will hurt the idiot the most if he applied a fair amount of pressure.  Then looking down at said idiot.
